Walked in for early dinner in the weekend. Odd that they said they were short on seating due to reservations even though most of the seats were empty. Cute quirky inside and friendly staff. Got the gnocchi Mac and cheese (excellent but small portion), burger (excellent, among the best in Miami), and chicken (solid but the other options were better). Recommended!

Omg! Is all I can say!! This place is killer!! We truly enjoyed every dish we ordered! Didn’t get to take pictures of our burger but it was bomb! We’re counting the days until we meet again! Wishing expansion on this amazing restaurant and team! The style of the restaurant is also beautiful, don’t hesitate to add this to your must try list! It’s a hit! Thank you again for a wholesome experience!

One of my best meals in the US so far ! Went there after reading an article on the best burgers in Miami … and I never thought I could have had such a great experience. Of course the burger was amazing (add bacon to your order, it is perfectly baked) with a perfect meat cooking, but the dessert (mascarpone pie) was great too! And the staff is really great too. A bit far away from my South Beadh stay but I might get back during my stay in Miami!

Love love love this place! Went on a date with my wifey and was blown away!!! Had the roasted cauliflower and the flatbread and they were incredible. The chicken was to die for and I’m not usually a chicken person but it was recommended and SO GOOD. The staff was friendly and courteous. What more could you ask for?

Hellooo!! As a normandy isles resident I like to support small local businesses. Finally I made to silverlake bistro. I had steamed mussels with roquefort cheese sauce. I really liked the blue cheese touch. Also gnocchi mac and cheese. Very tasty. For dessert chocolate pot de creme. Very nice!! Service was less than standard. No wine service. No water refills. No ‘thank you’. Wow!! No charm. Hope it gets better in the next visit.

If you need a reason to go to the neighborhood of Normandy in north Miami, Silverlake Bistro is your reason! It is a quaint neighborhood restaurant with a wonderful vibe. The menu is diverse and the ingredients fresh and well prepared! We will be back!

First the service review, then the food, and finally the atmosphere. The service was definitely lacking, I don't think we spent enough money to make our server happy (especially as gratuity is included). Why provide good service when you don't have to work for it. We ordered the empanadas to start. For dinner we ordered Gnocchi, the special of the day -french rack of lamb, and a wine spritzer. My wife enjoyed the spritzer and the Gnocchi, the lamb was a bit over cooked and lacking in flavor but the green beans were cooked well along the fingerling potatoes. The hero of the dish was the sauce which added what seemed like the only flavor to the lamb. Maybe if this was a regular item on the menu it would be cooked correctly but it is a difficult dish to perfect when you leave the fat on the top of the rack. Rendering the fat down to be tender and edible while not overcooking the lamb is tough to do. Some of the fat was so tough that it was unedible. I think if you're going to eat here, I would expect to spend $100+ per person to have a good time. I think some of the cheapest wine bottles are around $60. The atmosphere was quaint but a little run down (maybe due to the location and getting hit but storms). I used the bathroom and locked the bottom lock but don't be fooled as someone walked in on me while using the bathroom. That lock snaps open with the turn of a handle... Make sure you use the additional lock at the top of the door. I almost gave this place 3.5 stars but while writing the review that seemed high given the number of negatives (half the food being ok, bathroom with a deceptive lock, and poor service). Added in a few photos and almost forgot, the water comes with a nasty white moldy film on the top of the bottle as seen in the picture but the check comes in a fun book which I thought was a nice touch. Definitely getting closer to a 2.5 star.

Positively the best meal I’ve had in the entire Miami area in 2 1/2 years! The food, service and wine list are all absolutely extraordinary and we were made to feel at home from the minute we walked in the door. I never liked Branzino much - it’s usually too dry, but here it was succulent and moist and cooked just perfectly – as was the ribeye. The special of pan roasted quail with risotto was absolutely sublime and they have Château Musar from Lebanon which is probably the worlds most famous cult wine! Thank you to Sandy the owner and her amazingly talented partner the chef, and the front of house team are all extraordinary, friendly, knowledgeable, and just delightful!

It took almost 45 mins for burgers to be ready! A simple cheeseburger with a bun 2 Patties and cheese , that was it. Only 3 ingredient burger took 45 minutes . That is ridiculous. Other dishes(meatballs , Brussels sprouts , lentils with cauliflower) were good and came out much quicker .

Totally delicious spot! Thursdays half off bottles of wine is a totally great deal. I really enjoyed my food here, everything was really well done. I got the roast chicken which was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Sometimes roast chicken seems like the most boring option but actually I think it says a lot about a restaurant. It’s a big portion which I actually shared in order to be able to devour an order of caviar fries which I do not regret at all!

Wonderful dinner! I can not Edit to go back. The food, the wine, the ambiance. Make a reservation and check this place out because they are passionate about food and wine and it shows. Worth every penny.

One of my totally favorite French spots in Miami. Good prices, location is not really it but besides that no downsides. If you go ask for French onion soup. Wednesday if you go is best - 25$ for mussels and a bottle of wine (that’s a steal) try to beat that. One of my favs is also butter lettuce salad I order it every time I’m coming . If you like Bellini you must try guava Bellini . Mac n cheese is wow and not expensive at all just a small portion. carrots and escargots as appetizers are really good . Dessert ask for crepe or sundae are 2 of my favorites . Main course is an issue for me and I never can pick something I like from there unless they have some specials but those specials are a bit pricey sometimes . Chicken isn’t bad at all skin is the best. Truffle pasta is priced to sell and it’s really good just too oily for me. Tried waffle fries with caviar not bad Neither but not every day thing.

My long overdue first visit to Silverlake Bistro far exceeded my already high expectations. For starters, the place is super charming and cozy and can easily suit any occasion, from a date, to a business meal, and, especially, dinner with friends. The menu is as varied as it is temping. I kid not if I said I wanted one of EVERYTHING! (So, naturally, I will be back). On this evening, for my main course, I had the night special: sea bass with risotto. The fish was succulent, with an extraordinarily soft texture, truly exquisite. I also ordered the truffle tagliolini, which was divine as well. For our first course, we had quail lollipops, a twist on the good old chicken wing but of quail. You don’t want to miss this, adventurous and delicious. We also had juicy and tender veal meatballs for appetizer. The staff was lovely and amazing, incredibly friendly and attentive to your every need. Special shout out to sweet Mariana behind the bar and host, Alex, who made sure my experience was amazing from beginning to end.

Edit: Bumping down to 4 stars: went on a Sunday, food quality was not as good/ consistent as other times. Also; my girlfriend at I had to wave down waiters 3-4 times to get service (as if they forgot us). Wow wow wow!!! A Michelin in the making! (At affordable prices!) Service: excellent Staff: excellent Cleanliness; excellent Food; What makes SilverLake unique is the creativity, lots of unique items, yet the classics like “hamburger” for those not tempted to explore. Would be amazing to have a coursed out omakase menu. However I think because of whatever reason, it seems SilverLake leans towards a more classic “appetizer entree dessert coursing” Considering the echelon of genius behind the food it would be nice to get smaller portions in a tasting menu, or to have a tasting menu options. But I suppose: it’s fine as I plan and do go back to try the entire menu over time. Only concern was; again coursing. I ordered two appetizers as sort of a meal, and both came out at the same time. It would’ve been nice for me to have the items coursed out, so I can finish the first item and the second wasn’t getting cold. When I did visit the first time; I ordered as intended and the courses came out perfectly. Coffee was mediocre Unfortunately they only serve wine, no liquor, and I’m allergic to wine. I have to give 5 stars because of the creativity and; Foie gras is my personal favorite dish and theirs is 6/5 so averages out to 5/5 -again: the unique sauces and combination of flavor / creativity without compromising the integrity of the food make it an exceptional experience. Will be back to take better pictures as food was so good I kept my phone down!

Update: We have returned a few more times since our first visit in Dec 2020. Service continues to be great. They were going through a transition process with the chef so some of the menu items were not available the last 2 times we visited, but still a great overall culinary experience. During our next visit, we will be evaluating the plates one more time to determine their Zason Guide Ç rating. Original: The definition of a hidden gem in plain sight. This place was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. The food was nothing short of spectacular for a very reasonable price. If you love French technique and gastronomy then you will enjoy this. The service was great and very accommodating. They also have outside seating and practice safe social distancing. Will definitely be returning more than once.

Amazing place with what I believe is the best burger in Miami. Been many times and the food is consistently delicious food, I love that the restaurant is unpretentious (more uncommon in Miami everyday), the staff is friendly and it is popular during evenings and weekends so making a reservation is recommended. Other dishes that are worth trying because they’re delicious are the gnocchi with Gouda and bacon, the lentil appetizer with labne, and the scallops. Desserts are also yummy.

These are the only words you need to know at Silverlake: MUSSELS. BURGER. FRENCH FRIES. PORCINI MAYO. Obsessed. But really, Silverlake is so much more than the food (which is very excellent). They have such a warm, cozy vibe. It is consistently delicious. We had our first dinner in Miami here, and have been coming for 2+ years. Roberto is absolutely magical, highly recommend, 15/10. Make this your weekly dinner out, you won’t regret it.

Great vibe. Hot servers! Food is pretty good. Fun concept but super loud and a few spots where the light takes over the experience. Love the romantic light but the bright ones in the window dictate where you can sit comfortably.

Everything about this place is amazing!! It is not just big fancy restaurant but OMG how delicious is it!!!!! It was so good I went twice in a week. It starts with the host who is adorable, then the waiters are the sweetest and the food you want to try it all ❤️❤️❤️. If I could I would go every day, I would!!!

Service was fabulous and the food was delicious. These folks saved our night after a fail at another restaurant. They saw we had over hungry kids and got amazing burgers out to them within about 10 minutes of sitting down. Also adorable plates and lovely atmosphere.
