Excellent Italian pasta dishes. It’s hard to beat fresh, house made gnocchi or bucatini. Service is outstanding and very attentive. The outside seating also give a romantic European vibe. So many great menu items. I even love the way they serve the house bread:)

Please keep in mind my visit was a Saturday night. Service was great. The employees had great enthusiasm and even while drinks and food took a looong time to come out they did a great job at trying to take care of the customers. My food was good and my friends enjoyed their food but we had one person result in food poisoning. The kitchen was just overwhelmed and it showed. We got our food at different times and some food was cold. Very nice restaurant but the kitchen could not keep up with seats available. Also all seats are outside so take in consideration the outdoors temperatures. I got the pasta with pepper and it was prepared next to my seat with a giant cheese wheel. It could have used some hot pasta water. The cheese was too thick and dry plus it was very cold. I truly believe my experience would be better if the kitchen wasn't so overwhelmed.

It is quiet a small restaurant with only outdoor seating. It is pretty close to beach like you walk down the lane all the way from beach. It was tough to find the name at one glance but great landmark would be Rakija bar which is exactly opposite of this one. We tried the Red snapper which is a fresh and daily catch fish for them and Lobster Risotto. Read snapper was so damn delicious I could just eat all day. Lobster was good too but risotto was too salty for me. Overall is a good place with good view of surrounding but bit expensive.

Excellent patio atmosphere. Waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We got wine and drinks, appetizers, and several different types of pasta and everything we ordered was excellent. The portions were so filling that all 5 of us took home leftovers. Would definitely eat here again.

My wife and I ended up here due to google reviews. The place is super small and outdoor dining only. We luckily came on a cooler rainy day. Indoor AC seating would be a plus but hey we gave it a chance either way. We ordered the calamari and the tuna tar tar. The calamari had to be the freshest calamari I have ever tried. It was super delicious with the sauce that came with it was extraordinary. The tar tar was delicious, however it had guacamole on the bottom as a base which for me was amazing but I’m not sure how others will feel about it. SO FAR SO GREAT Then we had the seafood spaghetti and we added a lobster tail on top, this hands down was amazing, but it’s very fishy taste wise, so if your into that fresh ocean seafood taste, I would highly recommend. Then we had the risotto, which was absolutely stunning, i don’t eat dairy too much but I still had a few bites and enjoyed every bite. Our server was BARRY, very attentive, super good smile every second we saw him, and Carina the server assistant was always coming by to make sure our table did not over accumulate with dishes. Highly recommend for those visiting new places in Miami FL.

We ordered the fried calamari and shrimp for appetizers, Fettuccine Alfredo pasta with chicken and this was the best Italian food we ate in South beach! We ordered tiramisu as well but it was too sweet for me but my husband liked it. We had Jessica as our server and she was such a friendly person to talk to :) She was really attentive and took great care of us! Loved the food and the hospitality :) 10/10. Highly recommend coming here!

Passed by several spots to come to this restaurant. My wife was craving Italian and just went onto Google to see what we can find. Randomly we stumbled upon Il Pastaiolo after searching for a few minutes and deciding where to go, we chose this place. STAFF -The moment we arrived, they greet you so warmly. The waiter and host are delightful. They care deeply about the business and that’s always very nice to see. Not only do they just seat us, but every 10-15 minutes they would check up to see how we’re doing. Location - perfect location which is right on Collins Ave. it was only a 15 minute walk from our hotel. The place has a cute charm to it. They play only Italian music which I thought was awesome! The FOOD - WOW! Everything was fresh, delicious and amazing. Need to try this place out!

Francisco was our server today, and he was amazing! Very fun and attentive. We had the beef carpaccio, seafood linguine special, the veal special, and a pitcher of the white sangria. Everything was excellent! Would highly recommend this place. My boyfriend is obsessed with having Italian heritage, and he said this was one of the best Italian restaurants he's been to.

Andres and Andrea provided excellent service and really aimed to please the customers. On top of stellar service every dish was absolutely delicious. The table side presentation for the Cacia Y Pepe and Tiramisu was phenomenal and truly made our experience amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for great food and excellent service!!!!!

Warm, convivial service, Artie Bucco would be proud of this establishment. Service was nice, but the constant blaring of music for the numerous birthdays they seemed to be celebrating definitely keep this restaurant off the fine dining list. Prices were reasonable for south beach, which was nice. Good spot for people watching.

The male staff are all gorgeous. Food was amazing. Wish they had in-door seating and if the sign was on the building (more visibility).

Francisco, our server, greeted us with genuine smile, provided exceptional service that added a special touch to the evening. His knowledge of the menu and genuine attentiveness made us feel valued and well taken care of. The food was exquisite, each dish a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. Francesca was AMAZING!!! Our little guy was beat from a day of traveling, and she made sure he got his drink, food and water right away and saved the dinner!! Her service was excellent and she accommodated all our crazy requests with a smile. Food and atmosphere was superb. Loved everything!! ❤️❤️❤️

Wow, what more can I say than that! Azul was my server and her performances table side were absolutely amazing! First she made my pasta dish, which was amazing! She also made it tiramisu for dessert. Also amazing! Everything else was great as well. Will definitely return on my next trip to Miami!

We LOVED this restaurant. It’s actually authentic Italian food 🥘. My boyfriend lived in Italy and is always looking for authentic Italian. This is it. And very reasonable priced. Drinks were also outstanding. The food was so delicious. We loved it so much we’re planning on going back again tonight. Oh and service was spectacular- our waiter made us feel like family!

Oriana was incredible! She was so friendly, professional & knowledgeable. We came here on a whim based off of the Google reviews and so glad we did. Carmen, the manager, could not be more perfect for her role. This place was amazing and anyone would feel so welcome here!

Excellent service and food. Oriana was an incredible server. We had the meatballs and the lobster ravioli with shrimp and lobster tail. Cannolis for dessert. Espresso martini too. Everything was top notch. I highly recommend this place when you’re in Miami.

II Pastaiolo, the food was delish!! But Barry our server was amazing. He was friendly and very attentive. He recommended the Seafood Pasta, so amazing. My two favorite things… seafood and pasta. Highly recommend this place. The only bad thing is the bathroom, other than that, great food and atmosphere. .
