I will not even give one star. Front Desk is EXTREMELY RUDE!!! I work in medical office and I understand dealing with patients can be stressful but these ladies treat you literally like you a piece of S... talk to you in a really bad way don't help at all, i have a new born and these ladies don't know how hard is to move around with a baby while filling out information a lady with a baby in hands too ask for help she was completely ignored by the lady with black short hair and I see other moms struggling I can continue but all I can say is I like Dr De la Torre but Definitely not taking my baby to this place ever again after the way they made me feel.

They are not professional. Waiting time is always over one hour even when you have an appointment. Most nurses are really rude. Nurses are always in a rush, and they donā€™t even seem to like working with children. Some doctors take time to talk to you, and they donā€™t look in a rush while answering your questions. But not all of them. Iā€™m a certified veterinary technician. I just canā€™t believe, we show more passion at work than these people working with human beings. This fact is really disappointing for me. I was talking my son here because their office is closed to our home, and they used to have convenient schedules. Their office hours and availability has changed since Covid, so there is no point in keep taking my son there. If you want a caring, loving and professional environment for you child, This is not the place. Look for a private practice. This is a corporation. They treat your child as a number, not like a patient

Very unprofessional arrived with my girlfriend we made an appointment for my daughter and her son so it was easier. When we arrived the lady at the door said only one parent was allowed in. We told her there were two kids she said only one parent per family. That didnā€™t make sense but I said whatever and left both kids with her so they could be seen. Then as I am leaving I see the same lady let in a hispanic couple with a baby. If your going to enforce COVID protocols make sure you enforce them for everyone. Whichever nurse was working check in on 10/01 around 8:30am in case the administration wants to check their cameras and verify the professionalism of their staff. I can deal with COVID protocols I canā€™t deal with inequality.

My son is 3 months old and has been going to this office Since he was born his doctor the one that suppose to know him as a profesional expertise failed to diagnose him correctly causing developmental issues. The front desk is a disaster they never know what they are doing and when you need papers they take ages when itā€™s something thatā€™s right away. The doctors come in see the child and leave no extensive search nothing thankfully my son has me as a mom I donā€™t take the easy answer. Today is my sons last day in this clinic he will be going to a great private doctor who works with Nicklaus Children Hospital.

I went to this office because my 19 months old baby was sick, coughing a lot. I drove from Fort Lauderdale to there since it was the only one that had an appointment available that day. There was an accident on the way and we got there at 4:00 instead of 3:40, appointment time. The Dr. didn't want to receive my daughter because she said, according to Valeria, a very lousy receptionist that she had to leave at 4:00pm and still had two other patients to see. If the Dr. was running late on her scheduled appointments, which is always the case, we would have had to wait anyway. Terrible experience, we had to rush to other facility, Miami Gardens and Aventura, where we got much professional and caring service. The Dr. at Miami Lakes that didn't care about a sick baby is Maria Perez. Shame on her!

Constantly canceled, the Dr we ended up seeing was always late. This group does not care about your children. i had a 1 yr check up scheduled for tomorrow, after several cancellations they call me at 9pm the night before to cancel again. LOOSERs, they never get anything correct and messed up our payment several times.

My daughter is a patient here and I would say go to the Pembroke Pines instead do I have not had an issue with the doctors they always seem eager to get to the next patient end the time the last two times Iā€™ve gone they made me wait 1 hour For the doctor even though I had an appointment. If you want your Child to be seen by a specialist you will go through mission I had to ask for a referral for my daughter and I have yet to see a specialist they just provided me with a list for me to call which is obviously updated as the numbers on it I donā€™t pick up or are closed. Not very helpful for kids clinic. And if you try to call regarding questions to see if we should take your child in for care donā€™t bother example today I have called over 5 times I have scheduled call back I have waited on hold and I have yet to speak to someone. Not very helpful

Casey Nemrow, PA is the absolute best! Sheā€™s caring, listens to our concerns, explains everything thoroughly, and we couldnā€™t be any happier with her care and service. Thankful to have such an amazing caregiver! Highly recommend choosing her and Pediatric Associates as your childā€™s caregiver.

First time attending this office for my daughters 2 year old check up. Very clean and very structured medical facility. Amazing staff, super friendly and kid friendly! Decor of office is so colorful and pretty. Nurses are very caring and kind. My daughter actually needed her ears pierced and they were just so amazing every step of the way. Highly recommend for parents with newborns and toddlers.

If I can give negative stars Iā€™d take all of them away. Came in to the doctors office with only one person waiting my appointment was at X oā€™clock on the dot got here before my time I have been waiting over an hour with people just coming in and getting called back. Place is clean and nice but if you want them to forget you outside this is the perfect place for your kids.

This is seriously the best pediatric office. I started bringing my kids here 3 years ago when my son was born, our doctor is Maria Laguna and sheā€™s sooo good! Sheā€™s hilarious, very knowledgeable and relatable we really love her, so much we come all the here from Ft Myers and I will continue to do so! In one occasion my older son was seen by a different doctor and she was also very good! This office is exceptional and I highly recommend.

The front desk staff is so rude! They're super disrespectful and spend the whole time talking and being loud in their seats. I had an appointment at 11:20 and they didn't attend me until 1pm but kept taking other patients in. The 3 woman who work in the front are all very rude and disrespectful and gave an attitude when being asked questions. The one in Hialeah is so much better. They need new staff who aren't there to be smoking their vapes, drinking coffee and gossiping when they're dealing with sick children.

If you have all day to be at a doctors office waiting with toddlers, this is the place for you. If you arrive early, you have to wait PAST your appointment time. There are no walk ins allowed or same day appointments. They will turn you down & will NOT see your sick child. No flexibility. Very disappointing. I was referred here by another mom & I will NOT return to this place.

The office of Miami lakes has amazing doctors and staff. Everyone is attentive and efficient. Itā€™s a in an out process. My kids love coming here, and they feel welcomed there like family. The care the nurses and doctors give is exceptional 10/10. I highly recommend you bring your children here.

Have been going to pediatrics associates since 2021 and they never disappoint. My two daughters are seen there. I have been to several offices because Iā€™ve had to move or for convenience. One of the reasons I love it is because they have offices in different locations. Since beginning of the year we see Dr. Casey Nembrow and sheā€™s absolutely wonderful. Super gentle, understanding and always making sure that our needs are met. She addresses every concern and gets a second opinion. The nurses are great as well and the front staff too.

Highly recommend!l Dr. Maria Laguna truly the most sweetest, caring & great with kids. She sometimes dresses up for the kids to make them feel less scared! Provides very good medical advice and treatments. Genuinely recommend. On top of how fast, organized & clean this office is. Itā€™s also a plus The ladies in the front are so sweet and helpful. 100000% recommend.

Starting with the experience at the front ; registration was not welcoming. The medical assistant/nurse was not informative or knowledgeable . The room was dirty, the sink had blood in it. The medical assistant did not clearly explain what he was doing or ask any questions or introduce himself. overall just bad experience at the Miami lakes location. I love the midtown location; but this one was not a good takeaway experience.

I love my childrenā€™s doctor, Dr.Oglesby! Sheā€™s amazing, and sweet and has been my oldests doctor for 7 years and my youngest since the day she was born. I have zero complaints about the doctor. The wait, however, our last visit was a total of 2 hours! If the rating was just for the doctor, it would be a 5. But that wait is a killer! 4 stars for the whole place overall though, the nurses are nice too!

Dr.Olabisi is awesome, he took the time with upmost patience to explain to Matthew what he need to do as he approaches his puberty stage and pointed out how he could reduce weight as well. I love Dr.Olabisi interaction with children as well as parents. šŸ‘

wait time is horrible even when the place is almost empty with barely any patients. You get an appointment at 9 am and they pass you to a room inside where you wait 1 and 2 hours. One time I waited 2 hours and 30 min! Parents have work, time constraints, and this is outrageous. They do have a lot of good doctors on the positive side but I am considering changing outside of here.

I am very disappointed that they put up a satanic altar right in the middle of their check-in area. Please remove it! All youā€™re doing with this is calling onto the devil which makes our children sick. This disgusts me in so many levels!

I love Dr. Laguna!!! She has been my kids pediatrician now for a couple of years and I won't see anyone else! The ladies in the front office are always very helpful too šŸ˜€ can't complain about Pediatric Associates!

*READ THESE REVIEWS PEOPLE* This place is the worst of the worst. From the the front desk to the nurses, mostly everyone is rude. No customer service here. If you do decide to go there be prepared to change your child's PCP EVERYTIME you go as not even the doctors like working there as they frequently leave. Stop trusting these mill run places and get a pediatrician who actually cares about your child. This is not the place!

I have taking my children to PA since 2003. The doctors, nurses, and receptionists are always willing to accommodate us. Iā€™m thankful to have found this place. Dr. Deborah Perez is a gem.

  • 5/5 Kassandra R. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing, staff was really nice and everything was in and out. The receptionists at check in and out were so informative and provided me with all documents needed prior to me even asking and were extremely nice. Above and beyond these days is rare so when itā€™s provided I appreciate it.

The worst place to bring your kids. Really bad attention, always cancel appointments. Please pediatric Associates stop stealing money and make a good work or close I think will be better. Going to get a private doctor ASAP

As compared to other offices, the experience at Miami Lakes with Dr. Madera is excellent. Iā€™ve never experienced a problem with his care. He has fantastic bedside manner and addresses all concerns with compassion and expertise. I considered switching practices entirely after moving to the Palmetto Bay office, but Iā€™m so glad we make the extra drive to See Dr. Madera.

Iā€™ve been with Pediatric Associates since my fist kid was born and the only real complain I might have, sometimes depending on the appointment time you might wait a little bit more than what you want. BUT all healthcare providers at the Miami Lakes location are amazing! I specifically see Dr Perez. Sheā€™s the best pediatrician I know, sheā€™s dedicated, she answers all your questions and more.

  • 4/5 anay h. 1 year ago on Google
The waiting time was minimum; very clean; they took the blood test on same visit at no extra charge. Also I was giving the vaccine and physical records automatically ( you donā€™t need to request and wait extra time to receive it). Dr. Maria Laguna super professional; very knowledgeable; answer all my and my kids questions. My only complaint is that you never have a direct communication with the actual office staff when you call for appointment or refill a prescription they have and answering service for that and they sometimes doesnā€™t have the answer to your questions.

I came to pediatric associates after leaving private practice/one doctor office. I love it here and am very happy with the Miami Lakes office. Dr. Gomez is amazing, I highly recommend him. He sees my 2 year old and now my newborn. The other great feature is kids now, an app where you can see a nurse at any time. I have used the app at least 5x already including once for my newborn. Excellent service!

Nightmare my child has mental health issues and Dr. Tunjano wonā€™t send it prescription electronically like it has been done for over 4 years!! My son has to suffer cause she wonā€™t do her job and do the oath she took when she became a doctor. After numerous calls through customer service prescription refills this company has done nothing for my son. Iā€™m livid Iā€™m having a mental break down while my son suffers with no medication. Iā€™m a single mom and donā€™t have flexibility to go back to the doctor office which is further away from my regular office to pick up anything. I recommend any new parent Do not go to this or any office related to Pediatrics associates!! All they care for is money to bill your insurance or take your money out of pocket they donā€™t really particularly care about children! Itā€™s all about the money making machine! There is no morals there is no sympathy there is no oath. I plan to get a lawyer and start legal actions!

Horrible, they referred me there for an emergency of my son and starting with the doctor who was practically annoyed for having arrived at that time of the afternoon, the second thing is that since the nurses are floating according to her they do not know where the instruments to use are therefore my son was not treated in the best way since it even hurt his hearing and the third and not least important thing was that they came in half an hour after the appointment time. The truth is that I do not recommend anyone who has an emergency to go to this place where they are not at all professional or friendly with patients.

HORRIFIC. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEIR PRACTICE. THEY DO NOT HAVE A 24 EMERGENCY SUPPORT, as they claim. I am on holiday in Hawaii, my son suffers from wheezing on occasion, he got a cold and I needed his medication pump and mask. I called at 11am to request a refill to local pharmacy in Hawaii. The call took 30 minutes and I was told they would send it over and the pharmacy would call me when ready. Two hours later, the pharmacy in Honolulu had not received the prescription and my sonā€™s neck is continuing to retract due to wheezing showing breathing struggles. I call back and was told they can see the prescription refill request in their system but that the doctor had not signed off? I was never told the doctor needed to sign off for a prescription refill, just that I was being sent to pharmacy. What??? Iā€™ve now wasted two hours. This second women, proceeds to ask me questions about the medication and how my son is doing and transfers me to a third women- seemingly a nurse, who asks me a list of questions to ensure this is not a medical emergency. At this point, Iā€™m confused, why the hell was this not done on initial call? Why have I been falsely led to believe that the medication was being sent to pharmacy the last two hours? After finishing another 30 min call and then the nurse deeming this isnā€™t a medical emergency, Iā€™m told that the doctor may NOT approve bc the last refill was last year. Please note Nicklaus Urgent Care whose records Pediatric Associates see on their screen, prescribed this same medication too the last three months. I was told to call back a THIRD time after two hours (apparently no one can call you back), as the doctor must approve OR deny request for refill within the two hours (I was told). My son meanwhile, continues with neck retractions and wheezing. I wait three hours, by this point itā€™s been FIVE hours trying to secure medication refill for my son. I call back and wait almost AN HOUR on hold for after hours, speak to same nurse and am told doctor has not responded. She had said doctor must respond within TWO hours, what the hell game are we playing? She claims she cannot call the doctor. I am LIVID and itā€™s ridiculous that I placed so much trust on this practice to see after my sonā€™s care. Misinformation, false expectations, long wait times, over six hours all in before I filed a complaint with BBB and decided to seek urgent care. This could have very simply been a 15 min conversation instead of leading me on all day that the medication was sent to pharmacy. Avoid this practice. Go somewhere where your children are valued, where the practice respects you, and where your time is not lost speaking to inept employees. Utterly ridiculous, the level of ineffectiveness. DO BETTER.

Very good doctors and staff. My only concern is that the ear tips are reusable for other kids. I did not like that, I work in a doctor's office, and we dispose it after each use, every body knows that is an easy way to transmit infectious diseases.

  • 1/5 Darren G. 1 year ago on Google
Today Dr Bisi was very rude. He made my 13 year old son feel very uncomfortable. He talks with a strong accent and it was hard for my son to understand what he was saying the first few times he spoke. He got upset and stated ā€œI am not going to keep repeating myselfā€ like sir if a child does not understand you than repeat yourself until they do. I also took two more children (3 & 2 y/o) one well visit and one sick visit. At the end of the visit he ordered two shots for my sick son. I ask the MA to double check to make sure the correct child was receiving the shots. In which she proceeded to double check with him, when he entered the room he stated ā€œWhatā€™s The Problemā€ I said I just would like to make sure the correct child is getting the two shots which was ordered. He then proceeded to say ā€œDonā€™t question my workā€ like Sir excuse me as a parent those are my rights just in case you forgot. Instead of hun saying ā€œthe sick child was missing a required shot and now that we have it in stock Iā€™ll love for him to receive it, he continued to just talk very aggressive as if I questioned his credentials as a doctorā€ I have always requested this doctor but my last two visits has just been horrible, if I have concerns itā€™s like heā€™s telling me ā€œNOā€ if I request a referral itā€™s always being turned down. So moving forward Iā€™ll be changing doctors as well as locations because I canā€™t have a Doctor looking after my children well being but canā€™t listen to the parents concerns and needs. He needs to be spoken with.

My kids have been going there since they were born, the office is always so nice and clean the employees are nice and respectful. Doctors are kind and loving with the kids. They explained everything to me in Details which I love.

The waiting in this location is ridiculous, one hour waiting to go in.. this is my second time here and with a new born i would expected for them to prioritize him since he have no vaccines and he is around of sick children. Not only is the wait to go in but once you are in you have to wait another 30 minutes for the doctor to see you. Now the doctors are really good and experienced no complaints about that. They have so many people come in at the same time and they cant keep up. As a new born mom this is not okay.
