Saw this place on our way from the Everglades. It's hard to call it a stand, it's more of a fruit market at this point! Huge parking lot which was packed when we arrived. All fruit looked fresh and absolutely amazing! Not cheap but you get a beautiful delicious top produce. Some of the fruits I've never even heard of! You can get most of them in a smoothie too, that they make fresh right there. Sandwiches, and other goodies are also available. A must stop if you're in the area! Also, Animal farm with goats, turtles, chickens, iguanas, emu, and more!

The fruit stand has everything you are looking for and more. The sandwiches are the perfect snack. And their smoothies and shakes are worth the $10. They are so delicious 🤤 the animals are so much fun to watch as you walk around and enjoy your treats. You can even buy some lettuce to feed to the animals as a snack! The animals are all pretty friendly and the place is very well kept. Produce is spectacular! Customer service is on point. We will definitely continue to visit

Must stop for anyone traveling in the area, the milk shakes and smoothies (dairy free) are amazingly delicious and popular in this area. While you wait for your lunch, or drink check out the market filled daily with fresh fruits and vegetables sourced from local farmers. They also have a petting zoo, and play area for the kids, as well as live music. It's a whole experience if you have the time to sit and enjoy with friends and family.

Highly recommend a stop at this fruit stand/animal observatory/shake shack. We go out of our way to stop here anytime we are nearby, and even when we are not. I love ordering shakes and smoothies of various flavors, trying/buying fruits I have never heard of, and sitting to watch the antics of the animals they have out back. One of our favorites is getting the miracle fruit, which makes sour things sweet and sweet things sweeter and then biting into a lime. It’s a fun experience. This isn’t a tourist trap- it is a south Florida institution that you must stop at, try a fruit or smoothie you have never had before, and see some animals for free (yes it doesn’t cost anything!). The lines can get long but it is worth it! We also like to stop and grab stuff before we trek into Everglades National Park for the day! If you are driving through to go to the keys or in the area for other reasons, give this place a shot for a fun, quick stop.

Even before going to Florida I knew I wanted to go there. Everything is fresh, some of the fruit there I've never seen before, so we tried quite a few. Unfortunately some went bad because we waited too long to eat them, since they were already ripe. I want to go back again for sure next time we are near. We enjoyed the animals they have outback. This place is pretty neat.

Great fruit stand with other stuff too (sauces, jellies, chips, etc). The guacamole and plantain chips are very tasty! The fresh squeezed orange juice is worth every penny, too. BUT, the milk shakes that they create make the world a better place to be, this side of glory! Delicious!

5 years ago I tried to visit this place, and it was closed. So I had 5 years of built up anticipation and it 100% lived up to my expectations. Of course, we had a smoothie. Although they do have smoothies pre-selected you can build your own. I had dragon fruit, oranges, and cherries. Guys, it was SO naturally sweet. I loved it. It was also a little on the thinner side so it wasn’t as filling! My husband and kid also got smoothies. I don’t remember what ones, but they were all good. You can get sweetener added if you’re feeling crazy. They also have all sorts of fruit for sale, sauces, jellies, snacks…etc. There really is something for everyone. Outside they also have an area with a bunch of animals. Will definitely return!

This place is great! We drove out of our way to visit! The owners are wonderful, friendly and hard working! They took the time to share the story of how they developed over the years from a young kids selling cucumbers (Robert) to the beautiful fruit stand, petting zoo and smoothie bar! Come try exotic fruits, the best guacamole, smoothies to die for all while enjoying the view of The tortoises and other adorable animals!

Absolutely love this place and it is a south Florida staple and classic spot for sure. Lots of history and memories and great food here. Petting zoo area for kids. Honeys, jams and sauces fresh fruit and produce of all kinds and definitely the BEST* milkshakes in town, and I stand by that firmly. All the staff here are friendly and helpful. Got some hot and fresh boiled peanuts here too.

Homestead has my heart because places like this exist. It’s a fruit heaven. You instantly feel like you have traveled to a tropical island. They have tropical fruits here that are hard to find but priced correctly unlike some of the mail order fruit places in the area. I believe most of the fruits are also grown locally which is also a plus. The drinks they make are also very special ( fresh sugar cane juice, etc ) and the place outback for the kids to play and visit is truly awesome. I can’t wait to go back!!!

You have to add this to your stop. I have never seen so many tropical fruits and at a great price. I was in fruit paradise. I only heard of these fruits and was so nice to see them. Staff was amazing and explained all the fruits. Oh what an educational experience. The smoothies were amazing. In the back is a nice sitting area and a farm with lots of animal.

I've been coming to Robert is Here Fruit Stand for several years. The establishment started by Robert himself was a small Stand on an intersection in the Redlands, where there would be a box of fruits and the local folks would take what they wanted and leave the money in the donation box. This has blossomed into what it is today, complete with a feeding zoo, aviary, and a large pavillion with extra seating and a small stage where local acoustic musicians perform their sets. This place is FAMOUS for their milkshakes. Although their prices have gone up ($10 now from about $7.50 pre-Covid), they are super thick, creamy, and have unique local flavors. There is a variety of fruit and local goods for sale along with boiled peanuts and animal feed for the creatures outside. There is local artwork for sale as well. Many picture spots are available to create beautiful memories. This place gets packed on the weekends, so come with patience! Parking is available along the street.

Really a cute place with all kinds of different exotic fruits and regular fruits. Also, jams, sauces, honey, etc. Outside there are all kinds of animals to visit, turtles, goats, birds, chickens, etc. Highly recommend going. I'd never been and have been going to the keys for 37 years!

Robert Is Here is one of the last roadside fruit stands in South Florida. During the 1950s and 60s, these roadside stands were located throughout Florida and the United States. Before the advent of the expressway system, tourists traveling by automobile and bus would stop at these fantastical establishments for orange juice, local jellies and jams, locally harvested fruit and vegetables. These colorful roadside attractions helped to define the American landscape and our relationship with the automobile.

Tropical fruit stand turned into a tourist attraction. This place is packed these days. I go there for the Great milkshake and fruit smoothies made fresh in front of you. They have lots of exotic tropical fruits to choose from. Price is about $10. Besides all the fresh vegetables and fruits there is also a petting zoo in the back for the entire family. On the weekend they even have bands playing. They recently added food but I haven't eaten anything there yet. This place gets super crowded so I normally just drive by if the parking lot is full. A bit on the pricey side for most items but many of the items cannot be found anywhere else. Staff was friendly and everything was well stocked.

The freshest locally grown fruits and vegetables. But honestly I only went for the milkshake. Which was excellent. We had the key lime shake and a Mamey shake.

Holy cow this is an amazing place! This is a fruit and veggie heaven. There is lots of variety from all over the world and they are all fully knowledgeable. The staff was awesome and the area is great just be prepared to wait it’s a lot and people from everywhere are coming here. The farm in the back was great and the live band was awesome. I do feel bad for the animals in the pen tho the poor tortoises have divots in their shells from the goats standing on them.

It's a fruit market with live music and animal farm. All the fruit are fresh but not cheap. Some of the fruits I've never seen before. They do help to cut the fruit for you if you want to try it right away. They have sandwiches, smoothies and other goodies. You can buy some lettuce to feed the animals. It is nice if you have time to sit and enjoy with friends and family. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Best smoothies and Milkshakes. Especially their milkshakes daily specials are really good. Also you can buy fresh fruits that you couldn’t find any where in the most of the country. Their animal farm is good too. You get to feed goats, cows, chickens, turtles etc…

A lot of options for Smoothie and Milkshakes, a bit expensive. A long queue awaits most of the times to order and pick up as well. Our favorite was Sugarcane Juice and it was good and nothing too special. Kids loved the animals and the farm vehicles all over the place. Fruits looked fresh but didn’t buy anything. Plenty of parking 🅿️ available on the road side.

It is an amazing fruit stand with locally grown fruits that is hard to find in some other locations. Mangoes, jackfruit, coconuts, cocoa beans, vegetables, etc are a few to name from so many other options here. There is a stall for fresh milkshakes and smoothies that can be prepared from your choice of fruits! In the backyard there is a petting zoo with different types of birds and animals like parrots, goats, cows, tortoises. It is a great place to stop by for a refreshing drink, fruit shopping and enjoying with the pets!

One of my favorite spots in this area. A great stop whenever I am in or around Miami on my way to the Keys or to the Everglades. Their mangoes, guanabanas, fresh tamarind, smoothies, milkshakes, and their honey selection are incredible. Great for any road trip, beach day, or fun adventure for your palate.

I've been coming here for over 30 years and like a fine wine, it has gotten better with age. 🍇🍷Except here you get all of the fruit and vegetables! 🍊🍌🍍🍋🍉🍑🍒🍓🫐🥝🍅🫒🥥What's not to love about this place. A real ICON and local legend. Just had a #1 Banana, Pineapple with Coconut smoothie. 😋🤩Delicious! Thank you to this must see attraction and food stand. Live animals in the back. I can't say enough.

We were visiting some exotic fruit farms and saw this store and decided to drop in. Good call on our part. This place has everything for the family. Plenty of fruits and canned / bottle products. There is a home for birds, turtles and farm animals. Plenty of nostalgic farming equipment. Must visit if your are in the area

This place is full of very interesting things the world has to offer! Whether it’s an interesting tropical fruit, a great jam, a funny spicy sauce, or feeding the animals, overall a great stop. We got to meet one of the Roberts and he was super friendly and just happy to be there along with all the other employees. If your ever driving to the keys it’s an easy stop off the highway and worth the visit!

Great road side fruit stand with a petting zoo and South Florida's best milkshakes with a line and wait that seemed to confirm that opinion. Oreo milkshake was solid. Robert himself still works there and is a wealth of knowledge regarding fruit. Some very unique and interesting fruits as well. Definitely worth a stop if you are coming to or from the Florida Keys!

I went because of all the hype around this place when I went down to visit the Everglades and I did enjoy my fruit shake, which is what they are known for. I got something totally different that I had never heard of before and it tasted delicious. The shakes come in just one size and could run you between 8-10 dollars. there is a large variety of fruits from around the world and other miscellaneous treats and eats at the fruit stand. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, especially after coming out of the heat of southern Florida and the Everglades.
