Purchased for years in NJ and NYC, was great. We have purchased in Miami for the last three and we are officially done. The quality of honey baked ham in Miami during the holidays is not reflective of what you get elsewhere. The ham we had today was a huge disappointment. There was no glaze, just powder on top. With pooling, flavorless water in the bottom of the foil. The ham was not even cut a third of the way. Never again will we spend money there.

I gave it “no stars”. The following pictures reflect how I spent my day before thanksgiving after I prepaid online. 3 1/2 hours waiting to then find out that what I prepaid for was not available. “Absolutely horrible.” A customer passed out in line and rescue had to be contacted. The orders that were prepaid were not ready. They should have set up orders ahead of time in bags according to the order numbers assigned online. This way the items purchased would have been ready to just hand out to customers ahead of time. Staff could have used the appointment times selected by the customers and made things easier for the customers and themselves. Today Customers who prepaid were mixed with customers who had already paid ahead of time. Very disorganized for the amount of customers who prepaid. Honey Baked Company made Recommendation on the website to pre-pay to make things easier but this was a disaster. Not enough staff available knowing the amount of orders that were placed ahead of time. Staff was putting the orders together as we arrived to the register after a 3 1/2 hour wait. Later customers found out half the order was not available. Unbelievable. Families were depending on items prepaid for thanksgiving. What a disappointment!

This place rocks!! Regularly we buy the honey baked ham for holidays or family gatherings. This place is a staple in Miami, small, nothing fancy but huge in flavorful and delicious food including their signature baked ham and fixings. Everything is so good! The staff was friendly and helpful hands down! You have try this place if you haven’t already. Highly recommend!

I placed an order online to pay for when I arrived at the store. After waiting 40 minutes in line, security came out to say that they would only be fulfilling paid orders, and sent everyone else home, close to 60 people. What a horribly run place. They do not deserve your business.

Horrible. I used to always get this for the holidays in tampa. But welcome to Miami. There was a line going all the way to the street just for prepaid orders. No organization. Rude security who wasn’t even doing his job. Left in the heat for Ham for two hours just to get told my order I placed 2-3 weeks in advance was not available. And they still charged me for it . I will never return to honey baked ham, which saddens me after being a family staple for thanksgiving. Do not confirm orders if you don’t have enough.

    - Pre-paid, pre-ordered, with a scheduled time and date. Way in advance. Had to wait 3+ hours in line. - The line wrapped around, to the street, past the business next door. - Reach the counter and they say they don't have "my" order. Game me a different "unclaimed" order. - There were babies and elderly waiting, in the heat in the same situation. Said they were not accepting walk in. But let people wait in line for +3hr without telling them, until they reached the counter and guess what? They got food anyway. So, prepaid and pre-order for what? To have my order be sold to somone else? They gave "compensation" for complaining. Was that compensation somone else's order? - I saw multiple people asking for Manager. No one ever came out to speak. - Manager is supposed to speak to people. People were patient, despite everything. All they wanted, was to know if everyone in line was just to pick up, then why is there a +3hr wait?- no answer. - EMS had to be called for somone. After that, they started passing out water to people 🙄

Today for the 22nd year I bought a Honey Bake Ham , I waited for 45 minutes to get to the counter, but it’s worth every minute. Got home and make a couple of ham sandwiches, simply delicious. Ham for tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday and………… Thank you for keeping the tradition alive, happy thanksgiving to all.

Will never go through that disaster again. Three ring circus without ringmaster. After prepaying had to endure hours waiting and seeing the line which had not prepaid move faster. And all of this for overpriced green beans and broccoli! Don't think so!

I have never been to Honey Baked Ham Because I always thought it was just for ham for special occasions. But I was so wrong. They have lunch items that are AMAZING!! Their potato salad is delicious and the sandwich I got today was even better. I will be returning in a heart beat. Also Nadia was amazing helping me with what sandwich I wanted and the bone in ham I got. Great service and even better taste.

I have waited a whole year to give this ONE STAR review, I wish I could give. -5 stars, this location is the utmost disrespectful, dirty and disorganized place of food vending I have ever been to in my whole life. The disorganization is UNNECESSARY and avoidable, the way customers are treated like they are doing us a favor is ridiculous- it is such a shame for a brand name that anywhere else provides an outstanding product and customer service. The staff/management yells at you and does not CARE an ounce if you pre-ordered, pre-paid or God forbid DARED to walk in and expect to purchase something. With what they spend in security and tattered tents, they could implement an organized system to expedite the shopping experience- but clearly the staff in charge is not skilled in the ways of customer service, organization, selling food, bathing or simply speaking in a normal tone. AVOID THIS LOCATION - they DO NOT deserve your business. I prepaid my order and had an appointment at 4:30 PM to get it, it is 6:28 and I am still in line waiting for two hours next to a FOUL smelling dumpster. Disgusting !

Love honey baked ham store but walking in on a Saturday at 1030am and waiting 5 minutes and not 1 person to come out and take your order is disappointing. Not sure what’s going on but store is open but no one is there.

I'd give zero stars is it would let me. I placed an online order 5 days ago for a Thanksgiving work lunch we were holding today. I received an e-mail confirmation with an order number, confirmation of amount to be charged to my credit card and a note saying it may be delivered as much as 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled delivery time (noon). Noon came and went, no delivery. Waited 15 minutes before reaching out to the store. Automated answering with options, pressed for catering orders. After literally 30 minutes, someone answered. I explained the issue and they asked to put me on hold. The phone immediately disconnected. Called back and it rang busy, called again and back on eternal hold. Called the number on main company website for customer service. After 20 minutes on hold, a representative answered, but was unable to pull up my order since it was placed online. She apologized but referred me back to the store. She did fill out a customer concern form and advised someone would call. Still waiting. Have had no issues with the Ft. Lauderdale store placing catering orders in the past. However, the Miami store seems like they don't have their act together. VERY Disappointed! I understand this is a busy time of the year, however, a simple phone call to say you couldn't honor the order or there was an issue would have been the professional thing to do. Instead, just ignore your customers...not nice!

Do not order from these people on Thanksgiving!! Even if you pay for your ham online they will make you wait outside in the blistering heat for hours to pick up your already paid-for ham. People in the line were fighting amongst each other and this is not the type of energy we should be around for Thanksgiving.

I’m not going to rate their ham because they are the best but their pick up process is out of this world. I waited for more than 2 hours, one of them was under the sun at 3pm. One lady fainted in front of us and no one from this place came to help her. No water was provided for people waiting at 80 degrees. Can Honey Baked Ham Company do something different in the future? Please show some respect for all these customers who support your business.

Day before Thanksgiving, these people sold more than they could handle and obviously that has caused chaos, please do due diligence and have a LIMITED amount of orders allowed with no walk-ins. Pre-paid orders should have priority, otherwise why am I paying in advance? Security guards are armed and have bullet proof vests at a ham store???? They are also LOST, couldn't figure out how to organize the lines. Will never come back or recommend this place, woefully managed.

I recently purchased a HoneyBaked Ham for the holidays and was extremely impressed with the entire process. Not only was the ham and turkey delicious, but the buy online pickup in store process was quick and easy. I was able to place my order on the website and then simply stop by the store to pick it up at my convenience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire process was seamless. In and out of the store in no time. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality turkey or ham for the holidays. Five stars!

Poor planning regarding Thanksgiving eve pickup. They were not prepared for those that ordered ahead and did not have inventory available.

Decided to try after a podcast mentioned this place and we couldn't believe this gem was around the corner from our house. We came kind of late (6pm) and the gentleman behind the counter was super friendly and had no issue telling us about the whole menu. We ordered The Tavern and The Honeybaked sandwiches and both were delicious! We'll be back soon.

This Honeybaked Ham only has 1 line for both orders and pickups. This a terrible system. So, there is no reason for you to ever place your order online for pickup, since you will be waiting in the same line as the people ordering at the store. I will never patronize another Honeybaked Ham again.
