I don’t understand why I went a million times to this office. They did not diagnosed my preclamsia after caring 37 weeks my twins I ended up in an emergency c section. I told them about my concern with high pressure in my last two weeks of pregnancy and they said it was high but not concerning. My twins ended up in NICU for respiratory problems even though I asked them about the injections for my babies lungs in case they were not fully developed and they said I did not need them bc the c section was scheduled for full term. Then I had to spend days in the hospital because of all my complications… and one of my babies still in NICU. Don’t come here… plus their stupid policy of not coming with your husband to the ultrasounds when obviously you need support bc you are going through a HIGH RISK PREGNANCY…all the other medical offices allow you to bring your significant other you just wear a mask ! The crazy thing is sometimes their staff was wearing a mask under the nose. Ohhh plus they charge you extra for printing pictures of your baby like how cheap can you be. Shame on you

I honestly don’t recommend this office. You are a business to them and your insurance is what apparently they care for. So I made my appointment for the Fetal Anatomy Scan at 20 weeks. I was told I had to come back in 2 weeks by the person doing the ultrasound that because the baby kept moving a lot they couldn’t complete the whole scan and they were missing some images since the baby was really moving a lot. I called the office yesterday and was informed that my next appointment I had to pay again and that I was going back because the fetus was small. A total different information. I was exactly 20 weeks at my appointment and they didn’t have the patience with the baby. How do you control a baby not moving. That’s why I pay in the first place. All they want is your money and to charge your insurance apparently. I wished I never went here.

If there was an option for zero stars that would be a more accurate review. This office is full of scam artists. From the front desk to OB Tec’s, and especially the sketchy male doctor. I’m so livid after being lied to numerous times by this practice. I was scheduled for an anatomy scan at 18 weeks and was told to go again because. “They couldn’t complete the scan”. After researching and asking others when the best time to do a scan is the general consensus is 20 weeks. Well, they made sure to injgnprivide availability for the 18 week mark and say 19-20 weeks was too late. I should’ve done mg research prior to agreeing to my appointment. Well, after reviewing my payments they said my second scan would only be $55 because I met my deductible. Well guess what I just received in the mail, a $800+ bill with a bunch of nonsense scans that I did not request. They lied. Flat out lied to me about my deductible. On another note, (as if they weren’t shady enough) they kept pressuring me to visit them every 4 weeks because I had a some high blood pressure readings with my first pregnancy and they said they needed to monitor me with second to make sure it didn’t occur again. I went to their office on 3 separate occasions this pregnancy and each time pressured me in person and via phone to go in for follow ups. I HAVE NOT HAD ONE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE reading this pregnancy. It’s all a scam. Each appointment is $300. I was nit about to fall for this scam for a second time. Ladies, if you want a happy, enjoyable pregnancy without going broke I highly suggest you go elsewhere. This place is PURE GARBAGE! How dare they scam women who are pregnant. Just goes to show how shallow this office really is, and if you don’t believe scroll through the countless reviews similar to mine.

From the moment I made my appointment I knew we made the right choice in going to Associates in Advanced MFM. All of the staff is extremely professional and helpful over the phone and when you arrive, you are greeted with a warm welcome at the front desk. I have to disagree with all of these negative comments below because my experience was COMPLETE opposite of what they are claiming. I received a call a few days prior to my appointment to advise me of any financial responsibility for my upcoming appointment, which is a nice touch because I was not surprised at the visit. I had several questions regarding my insurance and they took the extra time to explain in full detail my insurance policy and I appreciate that immensely because not all offices will take the time to explain, normally I get told “call the insurance”. Then I am brought into the ultrasound room where they took their time scanning my baby and explaining what they were looking at the entire time making sure I was comfortable. The doctor came in at the end of my scan with an amazing bedside manner. I have had the pleasure of meeting both doctors and they are both GREAT! I was given beautiful photos of my baby and the great service continued at the check out counter where the young lady helped me schedule an appointment for a follow up. I will recommend this center to everyone I know that is pregnant! Their customer service was impeccable and hard to find nowadays in Miami.

These people should be ashamed. They take you when you need a simple procedure done and browbeat pregnant women into getting charged for procedures they aren't even planning to do, and the doctors didn't reccomend. Then they make you run around for a refund when you inevitably don't end up needing those procedures. It took them a month to give me back my 400 dollars. Like we're all made of money. 2 stars because at least they're clean. You're a pregnancy clinic, not a used car lot. We aren't there to be squeezed for a few extra bucks. Disgusting.

I am completely dissatisfied with this office and the way they have managed my appts. I came here for my second pregnancy because my first pregnant MFM wasn’t able to accommodate to my schedule. Well, it seems there’s predatory behavior here and if you’re not well informed or even ask questions you will be easily scammed. My first anatomy scan I was told that they couldn’t find certain views (2 views to be exact), also had a low lying placenta so ok fine, I’ll come back and follow up 2 weeks later. Well I come back and am told I have to pay pretty much the same amount as my first appt. Why the patient must pay again blows my mind when it’s neither the patient nor the technicians fault . But I’m sure if this wasn’t allowed, they would’ve found a way to find those views on the first appt. Now come my 32 weeks and they tell me I have to follow up. I get a call telling me I need 2 tests (growth scan and some other test for the baby) . This was never mentioned to me before and thankfully I have been a low risk pregnancy this whole time. Even at the follow up 2 weeks after the anatomy everything was perfect . So this finance woman tells me that I am responsible for paying almost $500 for this appt and she can’t tell me the indication for this new test. She then transfers me to another woman that tells me that since I’m having a growth scan at my OBs office I can just do one, ok fine, that’s my choice. But then says this other test wasn’t necessary since I was low risk . Now here’s my problem, had I not said anything or asked, I am pretty sure I would’ve been charged all this money again , and by that I mean this is predatory behavior. She told me that they add it just in case I want/ need it and usually if I don’t the patient would be happier knowing they didn’t pay that much. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this office and I will no longer be coming back here.

Do not recommend. Front desk is rude and not helpful and will give you attitude if you advocate for yourself. Techs are nice but supervised by physicians with bad bedside manners. I've had billing issues that stem from opting to be self pay, they charged me and billed my insurance anyways, said they had reversed the claim, they didnt. When I got the EOB from my insurance it showed that I was supposed to pay less than what they even told me I was supposed to if using insurance. Tech told front desk to reimburse me for scans not completed, front desk said the pricing was the same regardless, tech asked the OM and the OM said yes I was owed a refund. Its been issue after issue with little to no basic human decency when I present the issues. Moral of the story dont come here if you're not insurance savvy and ready to advocate for yourself. Icing on the cake for me was they said there was issues with the measurements during my fetal echo, they said they didn't have time to complete the echo, so they referred me to pediatric cardiologist with little to no regard to the emotional distress that would cause someone. Went to the pediatric cardio, who said they didnt see anything (thank God) and didnt even ALMOST see what they were reporting on the referral. Just beware and be careful.

I have the worst experience with this group and their billing department. I've been fighting with them and my insurance for a claim that they want me to pay but my insurance says the claim was submitted for this group with an incorrect Tax ID. What my insurance and I have been trying to explain to this medical group is that they have to resubmitted the claim with the correct Tax ID in order for them to pay but this medical group doesn't want to do that and just care about getting payment from me. This group just care about money and not your health. I'm 7 month pregnant and the claim I've been fighting with this group has giving me a lot of stress. I've been treated poorly for their customer service. I do not recommend this group at all.

Amazing experience at Advanced MFM. Would highly recommend this office for anyone who is starting or growing their family. From the receptionist to the medical staff, everyone is so willing and eager to help. Just had me second sonogram and April was so careful and sweet. She explained every last detail and question my husband and I had. The sonogram was a true bonding moment with my baby and did not feel at all like a medical procedure. I love how not a moment was rushed and how Advanced MFM goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Appointments are easy to confirm and remember. AMFM sends many appointment reminders with detail instructions to make sure the appointment doesn’t slip your mind. Can’t wait to go back to see how my baby is doing.

I absolutely love them. From the staff to both doctors they have made me feel at home, safe and informed throughout my pregnancy. They all genuinely care and love what they do. Thank you for everything you have all done for me. The doctors and Barbara have gone above and beyond for me. I am eternally thankful for all of you.

We traveled all the way from Georgia to make this appointment, and they treated us with the utmost care. I got to see my baby and learn so much about his development in a professional and caring manner. I highly recommend this office for prenatal care!! 🩷🩷🩷

Visit was very timely. I was seen minutes after my husband and I came in. Dr. Quintero was extremely supportive. Consultation included all details of my management and was non stressful.

I’ve had a great experience every time! I am notified of charges ahead of appointments so there are no surprises, the staff is super friendly, ultrasound techs are informative and take their time explaining all the important details, appointments are timely and considerate. Highly recommend!

The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Additionally, my technician who did the anatomy scan and fetal echocardiogram was exceptional. She described everything we were seeing along the way and made me feel at ease. Overall a really great experience.

As many have already mentioned below, this office is a bit predatory in asking to schedule unnecessary ultrasounds and up-charging on “measurements” with billing codes that are not explained to you ahead of time. You will likely get bills a few months later that have hidden charges. Also they will ask you to come back every 2 weeks for unnecessary and expensive ultrasounds. Beware! The actual ultrasound techs were great. Too bad about the predatory billing practices!

Please listen to the reviews!!! Girls in the front are extremely rude feels like you’re being bashed just for being there. They charge you the full amount of services despite your insurance covering half or whatever amount it covers. This place is a SCAM! Please don’t come here if you’re pregnant it will only stress you out even more. I read the reviews before coming but decided to take a chance, that chance was the worst mistake. Plus parking is a hassle so you’ll be driving around for 20 minutes because everything is reserved to doctors or staff.

My Wife, Liliet Sanchez, has been put through hell for the Billing Department of this group. She has been fighting a claim that they want us to pay without any reason for almost two months. My wife Insurance has explained many times to their Billing Department of this group that they filed a claim for services rendered to my wife with an incorrect Tax ID. My wife has been reaching out to this department many times and they do not accept the fact they need to resubmit the claim with the correct Tax ID in order for her insurance to pay for this claim. Their customer service is poor and rude. They don't care about the health of my wife which is almost 7 months pregnant. They only care about payments and nothing else. This issue is giving my wife a lot of stress. She has been calling them every week, more than once per week for over two months and they do not want to resolve this issue and resubmitted the claim to my wife's insurance. They want my wife to pay for this claim even though they are IN NETWORK for my wife's insurance, which means she doesn't have to pay for it.

Dr. Lesley De La Torre is a phenomenal physician. I’ve see the doctor twice for two completely different types of visits. Her professionalism and bedside manner is unmatched. My entire experience with the office was flawless, from the front desk personnel to the medical assistant to the lab technician/phlebotomist. I am grateful to be a patient of such a well-rounded office.

Love the AMA clinic. The staff is incredibly nice and professional. They answered all my post-appointment questions promptly and in a way that made me feel completely at ease. The receptionist was warm and friendly and wait time wasn’t bad at all. Shout out to April, Dr González and Barbara. Wonderful team!

This place is a huge mess financially. They’re double charging me for an office visit. I call and they direct me to send an email. I’ve emailed a total of 4 times with no response. Answer your phone and get organized. This is sooo frustrating. Totally not recommend.

Went in for a preconception consultation to discuss some blood work and Dr. De La Torre was very kind and answered all of my questions. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The only issue I had was with parking…other than that I would highly recommend Associates in Advanced Maternal Fetal Medicine!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for AAMFM. They are everything a pregnant woman needs and more. I honestly don't understand why this place would ever get a bad review. I have come here for multiple pregnancies and have always left satisfied. The billing department always quoted me before arrival and explained everything in detail. They even offered me payments plans. The sonographers always went above and beyond to get what was needed and the doctors are amazing ! This place truly cares about their patients. :)

I’ve been going to AAMFM every two weeks my entire pregnancy and I feel so lucky to have been referred to this office. The office staff is so considerate and kind. Dr. De la Torre is incredible. She spends so much time with you, answering every little question in detail and is clear and direct with her instructions. All the techs I’ve have are great and explain every step of the anatomy scans and take the time to educate you on what you’re looking at. I highly recommend this office! Make sure to get there 30 min before your first appointment and 15 min before any follow ups so that you have time to fill out the paperwork and still be seen at your appointment time.

I’ve never been more happy in an office setting before I walked into this office, every time i call they are quick to respond and they make me feel at home. The front desk staff are always on point and they update you if the wait will be longer than usual or if they are running behind , the ultrasound techs are always super nice they try their best with 3D pictures depending on the baby’s positions they are so informative. The office manager and supervisor are the complete best any questions and they come with a perfect answer. I recommend this place to everyone who needs to a MFM. You will not be disappointed.

My experience is very bad, this site what they care about is money in the face of your reviews, apart from the fact that they charge as they want and supposedly you have different things included, they have the nerve to send you debt receipts to your home with different amounts than those they charged you, they charge you a price for above the real price they send on the invoice and you call and they don't know how to give you an answer
