Wow! This was our first sailing experience and it was absolutely amazing! The experience went above and beyond our expectations. David was an awesome and friendly captain. He gave us so much information about the area of Miami I felt like we had a sailing experience and a tour all-in-one! He also captured beautiful photos and videos of us. We had great conversations and enjoyed being out on the water. The trapezing experience was out of this world! We saw some wild life and enjoyed the beautiful sand bars that he took us too. I recently had the pleasure of going on a catamaran tour with David, and I must say it was an incredible experience! The tour included a picnic, and it was simply great. The food was fresh and delicious, and there was plenty to go around. David himself was a fantastic host and captain. He was super friendly and made sure that everyone on board was comfortable and enjoying themselves. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some interesting information about the local history and wildlife. The catamaran itself was in excellent condition, and the ride was smooth and comfortable. The views from the boat were breathtaking. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and memorable day out on the water.

Incredible experience! We had an amazing time on this tour. Our captain was very knowledgeable about the area and ensured everyone had fun! We had snacks and drinks on a sandbar looking at the city, checked out some mangroves, and took in the beautiful sunset! I highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Miami! I can’t think of a better way to see this special area.

We really enjoyed the sailing trip David provided. David is very experienced and both the adults and kids had a great time with the sailing, snorkeling, amazing sunset.

David was an awesome captain! So knowledgeable about sailing and the bay. He has endless stories to keep you entertained. Such a fun and unique experience. Stopping at the sandbar was such a treat and watching the sunset was an amazing view. Will do again if I visit!

It was amazing, my boyfriend and I had a great time. We saw manatees and lots of wildlife, we soared across the bay at sunset. It was a dream, 10/10

We had a fantastic sailing experience with Captain David! It was a highlight of our trip to Miami! We scheduled the 3 pm tour. Captain David texted us directions the night before and asked if we could sail at 2 pm as conditions looked more promising a little earlier in the day. They have a dry bag and small cooler available, but be aware that it is shared so try to pack light. We were scheduled with another couple who asked to be returned to the dock earlier than the normal time due to other plans. Captain David was able to accommodate both parties- we dropped them off at their scheduled time after snacks at a beautiful beachy spot and then he took us back out for some additional sailing time. We spotted dolphins, used the trapeze, and saw Miami in a whole new and beautiful way! We even ended up staying out to watch the sunset! It is clear that Captain David is passionate about Biscayne Bay and loves what he does! We enjoyed hearing about the wildlife and ecosystems in the bay as well as stories about the sailboat community there. He was also a fantastic host, bringing some healthy snacks and beverages to enjoy, and he took great pictures and videos of us along the way too! Salty Miami’s website says that they aim for an experience that feels “less like a touristy tour and more like going out sailing with a friend” and they nailed it! We left feeling like friends and will definitely be back if we visit Miami again! Best of luck on the Everglades Challenge Captain David!

We had a wonderful sail in Biscayne Bay. Hours on a catamaran. Just us 2 and Captain David, who shared his cast knowledge and local lore. Very good value for the price. CALL them the day before as weather may alter thexstart time. We would charter them again in a hot minute. Can't recommend them higher.

We had a great time! Captain David is super friendly. He took us to a sand bar just off Biscayne Bay so that we could take a swim. It was a lot of fun around Biscayne Bay. I definitely recommend it. It’s a small boat which, in my opinion, makes the adventure more private and fun!

This was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life! My wife, Kylee, and I were looking for a relaxing excursion that was similar to one we would find if we were on a cruise ship. we used to like the idea catamaran tours but never had the chance to actually go on one. We were definitely nervous, going out in miami alone for a private, intimate, tour on a sail boat, but let me tell you- this was the best excursion we have ever taken and the price point was reasonable, and honestly could’ve been priced much higher. Imagine this- you, your person, (maybe another group with you), and the Captain, David, on a gorgeous sail that lasts 4.5 hours, including snacks, drinks (he even brought stella artois), snorkeling, swimming, and a fun, thrilling bit where you get to hang off the edge of the sailboat. The entire vessel is powered by wind, and David is an expert of all things when it comes to the ocean and the Miami area. He has amazing stories and is genuinely just a person you want to talk to. You get to see wildlife, snorkel in a sandbar and see vibrant plants, animals, etc. This was insane and the best thing we’ve ever experienced. We recommend this 10x over.

Amazing experience and a must do if visits Miami, what makes the experience mush better is David, He’s really could be your friend in real life, he’s enjoying sailing and sights as he’s seeing it for the 1st time & you need this passion from your trip organizer, I had alot of fun Thanks Dave!
