Excellent Cuban restaurant. We were recommended to come here while in town the week of Christmas by a friend of my wife. Very family friendly and busy! Food was great and came fairly quickly. I even had to order me a Cuban sandwich to go and that thing came in clutch about midnight when I was hungry again. I definitely recommend Versailles if you're in the area. There is a bakery next door by the same name. It looked amazing too. It definitely has that old school vibe to it.

Food was simple yet light and tasty. Plantains cooked just right and not greasy. Rice and beans cook and stirred just the right amount and not too much. Fish tasted well and very satisfying for. the price. Worth the wait and the coffee and pastry next door was excellent and a great appetizer.

We just went to Versailles in Miami Airport, a regular stop for us when flying through this airport. The line is normally long but there's a reason for that..it's so so good. We always buy a bag full of their hand made Empanadas (favorites are chicken and beef) and a Cafe con Leche (delicious Cuban Coffee) A great stop if you have time in Miami Airport.

Surprisingly good value, and generous servings. This restaurant with its Cuban sandwich featured in the 2014 movie "Chef," so no wonder it was busy and took 45 minutes to get in. Service was very efficient. The ceviche appetizer was full of flavor, and the squid appetizer was surprisingly good. The signature Cuban sandwich was plain, with no tangy sauce or interesting seasoning, just plain mustard. The roast pork Cuban style had a rich and hearty sauce but wasn't as tender as I'd hoped. The Cuban sampler was a good choice because the menu was so overwhelming - though the cassava was very bland. Highlight of the meal for me was the plantains, which came with nearly every dish, and were full of flavor and not overly sweet.

This was our first time trying the popular Cuban restaurant in Miami. They don't take reservations. It's first come, first serve. The place was crowded, but we only had a twenty minute wait. The menu is extensive with many Cuban dishes to choose from. Everything came out excellent. Our service was wonderful too. The prices were very reasonable. Sometimes, when a place is very popular, the food is over-priced. This definitely isn't the case. We got two delicious entrees, an appetizer, and a bowl of soup for under $50. We had a great experience for dinner.

My favorite restaurant in Miami. I drove through the city yesterday on my way back from the Keys and made a special stop to share the experience for the first time with my fiance and kids. I had the world's best Cuban coffee, followed by an outstanding roast pork sandwich - flavorful and juicy. The pressed buttered Cuban bread on the table is addicting. Though lines are long, the wait isn't. Service is outstanding. A must for every visit to Miami.

Delicious Cuban food. Felt authentic and home made just what we were looking for. Mega bonus is no diarrhea. It was very clean and pleasant. Highly recommend the desserts! One star off cause the paella was very over salted.

Such a staple place in Miami, just good every time. The place is huge and always packed. Service is good and fast but clearly feels more like a dinner than anything else. Food is great, anything you order is great. Price is very accesible, we spent about $35 for two including tip. Will definitely keep coming back.

So, so good! It is a bit of a mix between traditional and touristy, but there seems to be enough locals to justify a visit due to the quality of the food. Architecture is grand and stylish, with a lot of interesting decorative touches. Service was very good and efficient but notice that some folks might have a bit of trouble with English. The food was great and a very, very good value. Everything we ordered was good and plentiful. The Sangria pitch had a very good price and was a great addition to the meal. The Roast Beef Tongue was delicious. It is so hard to find well-done tongue in the US so definitely worth ordering it.

If you’re in Miami, you must visit Cafe Versailles! There is a restaurant, pick up window, and a cafe. We always go to the cafe for pastries and coffee. The beef empanadas, chicken croquettes, and the flan were all divine.

I bought 2 cheese guava empanada, 2 guava empanada, 1 cheese empanada, 2 ham croquette, 2 fish croquette, 1 spinach omelette (like a tart), 1 quiche, 1 pineapple tart, did I miss anything ? All that for $27+ change . At a Starbucks or other bakery, it would easily cost $3.5-5.50/ piece. On a separate order, we also packed Cuban sandwiches and tamales to go. Do not miss the tamales! They are the best snacks! They boxed them all up for me and I gingerly flew them home. Warmed in my air fryer the next day and it tasted like gold. Only regret is not buying more .

I'm on family holiday, we decided to grab a cafecito to perk up after a long overnight flight. We googled a place for a good cafecito and this was one of the choices, well Versailles was but it was really packed with a 40 minute wait. The bakery itself was not, so we decided to try it and I am very glad we did. The place is spartan and doesn't offer a lot of thrills, what it does offer is a lot of delicious and sumptuous pastries, empanadas, and of course cafecito. I had the Jamon and Queso Empanada with a Masa Real to go with my cafecito, they blended to make a very filling and memorable experience. If a very big line hadn't formed after we ordered I would have gone for seconds on the Masa Real and Cafecito.

Stopped because of the hype it got on YouTube the food I ordered was somewhat disappointing but the fried sweet plantains beans and rice were amazing. Keylime pie wasn’t up to par, and the chicken was very oily and unsavory. Overall atmosphere was Great and the staff were great as well. the flan was amazing and so was the Cuban coffee. Cuban sandwich was okay, definitely can be better.

Love these Cuban pastries! To be transparent, we were tourists in Miami but lived in LA so our baseline for Cuban pastries is Porto’s bakery lol. Also, we are non-Spanish speakers- If you can, definitely learn to order in Spanish if you do not know how to speak. We were visiting Miami and one of stops was in Little Havana. There’s a lot of Cuban bakeries but doing my research, this place seemed like an institution so we decided to try it out. When you arrive, there’s a parking lot. There seemed to be three entrances - a restaurant, the main bakery/cafe, and a smaller to-go pastelito/coffee only place. We went to the smaller one in the middle at first but ended up going to the bakery one more door down. There, we were greeted with all the pastries, and other goodies at the far end of the display case. There’s no labels, so to those unfamiliar with Cuban pastelitos, make sure you do your research on what to order and how to order! We’re used to Porto’s bakery in LA, so the terms “cheese roll” and “meat pie” caused some confusion at first. Pastries we ordered: - pastelito de carne (meat pie) - pastelito de Guayaba (guava pastry) - jamon croquettes - pastelito de queso (cheese roll) - empanadas de pollo (chicken empanada) - papas rellenas - I think this is the name? (potato balls) Coffee- Cortadito- Cuban espresso with a little bit of milk Sandwich- Cubano sandwich - make sure you specify sandwich, cubano is also a coffee drink! Food review- Wow wow wow I will be thinking about the pastelito de guayaba until next time I’m in Miami. The guava was a perfect amount and the pastry was so flaky and flavorful. To me, almost everything was better than Porto’s! I only prefer the Porto’s pastelito de queso/cheese roll and potato balls. I’d say the Cubano is about the same too. I also liked the Cortadito, it was pretty smooth. The price of the pastries and coffee is also very reasonable. The pastelitos were around $1.25 each and so was the Cortadito. Highly recommend. I wish we tried other Cuban bakeries in Little Havana for a comparison, but we loved it here!

Versailles Restaurant Cuban Cuisine in Miami is a gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal. We started with a few appetizers, and everything was delicious. The quality of the food was outstanding. We were blown away by the flavors and freshness. To our surprise, there was live entertainment! It was a wonderful performance that added a special touch to the evening. I'm not sure if this is always offered, but it was a fantastic bonus for us. If you're looking for an authentic Cuban dining experience with exceptional food and service, Versailles is the place to go. Highly recommend!

I have been to this restaurant several times. This was the 1st time that they had a brunch buffet. I enjoyed everything from the over medium eggs to the rice and bacon. This is how a breakfast buffet should be. They also had a section for different pastries.

Great Cuban food, portions and service. We went on a busy Sunday at lunch hour and only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The server was very friendly and the menu had lots of classics like tostones, ropa vieja, Cuban sandwich, etc. they have ample seating inside and also have a bar outside serving cocktails, etc.

On vacation from Boston to Miami, we paid a quick visit to the most famous Cuban Bakery in the area and it was absolutely worth it. Everything was delicious! No exceptions! There was a huge line, but it moved quickly. The attendants were very nice and attentive. I’d recommend you try a little bit of everything, but if you can’t, go for their empanadas. They are dreamy!

Excellent! Good spot for some solid Cuban food that isn't very expensive either. We waited a bit for a seat and put our name down, then waited around as they don't take your phone numbers. Lots of seating inside, which was nice. The menu is large and lots to choose from. I went with the classic plate, which was a good mix of foods to get the Cuban experience. Wasn't too expensive either! Overall, it was a very good time. We'll be back!

Had a 5pm dinner on a Wednesday night and there was no wait and the restaurant was maybe half full. Waited a while to order and service overall was on the leisurely side. The restaurant may be “The World’s Most Famous Cuban Restaurant” but the food wasn’t so much. Maybe we didn’t order the right dishes but it didn’t live up to the hype. The chicken soup and shrimp cocktail were good but the Roast Pork Cuban Style was on the dry side and the Chicken & Yellow Rice was just OK. Prices were very reasonable but we expected better tasting food & service based on the stellar ratings.

This place is not overrated. We waited about 30 minutes and then about another 20 or 30 to get the food. The place was packed wall to wall and I see why now. It's very good. No need to go into detail. Just go and enjoy. Worth the wait.

Our recent dining adventure at Versailles Restaurant in Miami was an absolute delight that left a lasting impression. Our visits to this iconic establishment, not just once but twice, were a testament to its renowned reputation and undeniable allure. Dinner at Versailles was nothing short of a revelation. The experience was a harmonious blend of rich flavors and an inviting ambiance. From the moment we savored the Grilled “Palomilla” Steak that seemed to melt in the mouth, to the aromatic symphony of the Yellow Rice with Black Beans, each dish felt like a tribute to timeless recipes and culinary expertise. A standout was undoubtedly the Yuca Fries with Cilantro Sauce. The crispy texture of the fries, accompanied by the zingy kick of the cilantro sauce, delivered a delightful combination that set the stage for the incredible courses that followed. Our escapade at Versailles wasn't just a meal; it was an exploration of authentic flavors and a testament to culinary artistry. The dedication to preserving age-old recipes while infusing them with modern charm was evident in every bite. If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Miami, I wholeheartedly recommend Versailles Restaurant. From the delectable menu to the inviting ambiance, it's a destination that encapsulates the essence of Miami's vibrant culinary scene. Our visits were a testament to the enduring appeal of Versailles, and we can't wait to return for more exceptional moments.

Cool Vibe, Nostalgic Feel Our daughter insisted that Versailles Restaurant was a must-visit, and she was absolutely right! This place has a unique charm that instantly transports you back in time, making you feel like you're a part of history. The atmosphere is a perfect blend of cool vibes and nostalgic ambiance, capturing the essence of Miami's rich Cuban heritage. We stopped by for lunch and started with the cod fritters, which were delicious—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. For our main course, we shared the Churrasco Versailles, and it was more than enough to satisfy us. The steak was cooked to perfection, flavorful, and paired with traditional sides that rounded out the meal beautifully. The staff here are genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. After lunch, we couldn't resist heading over for an espresso, which was absolutely divine. The rich, smooth flavor was the perfect pick-me-up. Naturally, we also made our way to the bakery, which was packed with an array of tempting goodies. The selection was impressive, and everything looked irresistible. If you're in Miami, this iconic spot is a must-visit. Check out my photos of the dishes and bakery items—I think they speak for themselves! Cheers!

As someone trying Cuban food for the first time, I had an amazing experience. Food was fresh and tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend their stuffed plantain, quarter chicken and imperial rice. The gravy on the chicken is too good. 🤌🏽The restaurant being this good, has obvious wait time to be seated. Plan your visit accordingly. Cheers.

Truly a Cuban institution in Miami. A visit to world’s most popular Cuban restaurant (1971) that can host 350 people in the dining area. This is where Cuban gathered to plot against Fidel Castro. This is where US presidents, governors and mayors came to sipping Cuban coffee.

Just like every other Cuban restaurant that we visited this past weekend, the service and warmth was felt from the moment you walk in. The place was very crowded, but the line was moving pretty quick. You will need to take a numbered ticket when you walk in and wait for your number to be called. The pastries look and taste fresh.

This was an almost heartbreaking for my wife and I, you would have thought that this place would hold up to the brand name. It’s best they stick to the clothing market. Food was a 2 star my chicken i ordered was so dry can I say so dry, my wife food was fair due to no meat meal so we can give a honest review on that. The building it’s self is pretty cool, the desert was better then the whole meal, the drinks was a miss could have put just little more kick to them the were beautiful to look at yet no buzz for us. You should definitely check by and look at the building. This place is best for the location and for you to stop by and just take pictures. The pool was amazing hats where we sat at. For me I would try again with another meal for my wife it’s a no go. Altogether we spent a little over $300.00 so be prepared for it.

It’s a historic site to visit while in Miami but it needs a little remodeling in the inside. The food is great for the price. They serve an excess amount of food that you can share with someone. They have a restaurant, a bakery and an outdoor window for the quick bites. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. There’s a small parking are in the front, but in the side, there two additional lots where you may park. I suggest to go there early to eat because it does get packed.

Miami institution. Last visited 5 years ago - had to revisit! Did not disappoint! Me encanta 😍 The Cubano was delightful - the roast pork in it was amazing.Cubano was $7.75. In addition, got a Tres Leches cake - so creamy, and sweet. dee-lish! (Bit hectic when you get there - operate a ticketing system) RECOMMEND.

Established in 1971, this restaurant has become an Institution in Miami. Traditional specialties like”Ropa Vieja”, “Vaca Frita”, “Rabo Encendido”, “Masitas de Puerco”, “Arroz con Pollo”, “Sándwich Cubano” along with moros and maduros can be enjoyed here. Cuban Coffee is mandatory. You have the feeling to be abroad in the Caribbean Island. Service is inconsistent, sometimes very slow and other times very attentive. However, a visit is a must when coming to South Florida!

As soon as we checked we were seated right away, walking through I didn't realize how big the restaurant was until we were walking to our table. We started off with appetizers VERSAILLES COMBO. That definitely was a good start to the beginning. The cilantro sauce was definitely the highlight. We added a half pitcher of Sangria. It is a must try not too strong and not to weak, you definitely gets your money worth. They don't pour ice into the pitcher so you get simply sangria and the fruit, ice is in your cup. For dinner I had the ROAST PORK CUBAN STYLE and my daughter had the FRIED PORK CHUNKS. Both were so good but for sure the Roast pork took the show for me. Nothing disappointed us. Service was great, food was delicious, fast, hot and tasty. But the thing that took the show for me was Cortadito with evaporated milk, best sip of coffee for me. It was hot, sweet, and creamy. If I could have got a large cup of it to go, I would have.

Food is amazing, and the price they charged was so low that I feel like I was eating at different country! They don’t take any reservation. It’s first come first serve, however, our servicer he was too busy to take care of a lot of table, he have to wait for long time for our drinks after reminding him a few times, when we paid we gave him 12% of tips, and he got annoyed and questioned us why we did not give him 18%, and that’s really inappropriate 🫢

I love it! The food was delicious. I ordered linguine and it was amazing. I also love the plantains as it is similar to how some parts of the Indonesian people cook it. The portions are huge and well priced. The atmosphere is nice and feels like a family restaurant. The deserts is also amazing. However I gave 4 stars because the waiter scammed us. We wanted to split the bills and she rushed us. As she is very vague we realized later that we tipped her twice. Would come back for the food

Great Cuban food, good atmosphere even on the courtyard waiting for our table. It is first come, first served, so you probably need to wait at busy times. We went for lunch on New Years day and it was understandably busy. The wait is made more pleasant with a cocktail from the outdoor bar. Staff and other customers very welcoming. Food was great and a good price. Excellent empanadas, pork chunks and Cuban sampler plates. Food comes fast, is very fresh and flavourful. Highly recommended.

Are there better Cuban restaurants in Miami and also in little Havana? Yes, of course there are. but do they have the same combination of history, service, atmosphere, food, and of course, a top-notch bakery? No, they do not. And it's probably one of the best places you can bring out of towners if they're visiting the area for the first time. You can hate it for its politics, but I let it slide, I still like to go there and bring people there.

Always great cuban fare and reasonably priced! Definitely check out the bakery at front of restaurant for probably the freshest cuban pastries and a cafecito! Empanadas, croquettes, etc Enjoy! XOX

Everything fine, nothing exceptional. Half of the staff kind and helpful, another half looks like they are introverts hating people. I've noticed that if you're not talking in Spanish some of staff were avoiding customers that were just looking for help. Tabasco sounds the same in most of the languages ;) tres leches cake super good and crazy sweet

This was probably the best place we ate our entire vacation. The Chicken Versailles was so delicious. Wait staff is super friendly and helpful. They were super busy but we were seated quickly and the food came out very fast. Free parking across the road seemed to be plentiful and easy to navigate. A lot of seating available under a tent while waiting to be seated.

Worst service, food came out cold order missing items, waitress only came to check on us when we had finished the meal. She asked how was everything we politely mentioned the missing items and cold food, her exact response " I have nothing to do with the kitchen", not evev a sorry, we were so surprised with her rudeness we just requested the check. Too much hype for this iconic restaurant in MIAMI. Next time I visit Miami will definitely go elsewhere. It was embarrassing because we took a first time guest because of the reputation of this restaurant.

Great place! Everything looks so delicious, you wanna take a piece of all. Cakes looked amazing. Sandwiches and baked goods were to die for. And coffee was outstanding as well. I’m glad I don’t live close or I wouldn’t fit in my jeans!

Great selection of bakery goods , pastellitos and pastries. One of the best in town...The reason for the 2 stars is the extremely slow service at the bakery. There are 5 ladies working at all times and they spend more time debating than working . Totally unnecessary wait times

We visited Cafe Versailles and enjoyed our time. They offer truly delicious (and authentic) Cuban food. While we were waiting (it was a Sunday and they have lots of seating outside) we ordered some Cuban coffee. I must admit, I'm not a big coffee drinker so I ordered the Cafe Con Leche. I thought it was very good. The milk hid the taste of coffee and I really enjoyed it. Once we were seated we ordered some empanadas and Cuban sandwiches. By far and away our favorite empanada was the ham and cheese. It was delicious! The Cuban sandwiches were awfully good as well. My only complaint was the bread was a little dry. Prices are reasonable and the service is very good.

This is a huge place that runs like a smaller cafe. Service is sharp and fast. From the moment you walk in there they engage you and get you seated. The menu is extensive of traditional Cuban food. There is a lot of people here!! It speaks to its reputation, quality, authenticity and service. The servers were so friendly and attentive. The Mojitos are excellent! The food was delicious. Service was rapid. Servings are generous. The croquettes were very good.

Versailles is a rite of passage for travelers and locals alike. Not to be missed. The Bakery has great staff, pastries, and coffee at great prices. What more could you ask for, assuming you don't have food allergies? Will go back for the Restaurant and Cafe next!

Great restaurant and excellent customer service. There are lots of yummy treats to pick up at the bakery. The coffee is great. The lineup moves quickly and efficiently. We went on a day when the funeral service for the owner was taking place that day. He did a great job for the community and opened up a great restaurant that will be there for years to come. The love of the employees can be seen in this restaurant/bakery.

This place was packed because it’s fantastic! So many savoury and sweet treats. The coffee smelt like it dropped down from heaven. The daily highlight was meeting older Cubans with stories ready to be shared. Precious moments with strangers.

If you’re looking for Cuban bread, pastries, sandwiches, cafe, or pretty much anything delicious, and you’re in Miami, then let me suggest Cafe Versailles. Know that it’s not an avant-garde type of restaurant, but an old school place with old school prices and good service. There’s a sit down restaurant, a walk-up window, and there’s a cafe area. My husband and I went for lunch at the cafe one day, and I loved it so much that I went back for breakfast the next morning. I never go to the same place twice when visiting a city, so that’s saying something. For lunch, we had the Cuban Sandwich, the Chicken Salad (best I’ve ever had), and I had an Americano. For breakfast the next day at the sit-down restaurant, which was so clean - by the way - I probably could have eaten off of the floors, we the Cuban Breakfast, and an omelette and grits. (They’ll make an omelette any way you like it.) They bring out buttered Cuban toast too. If we were in town for longer, I probably would have gone back for dinner. I can’t stress here how gorgeous the pastries were. Oh! The pastries. There were full-size and petit cakes. There were pistachio and chocolate eclairs, cookies of every sort, Key Lime and Strawberry Pies, shiny fruit mini-tarts, and I could go on and on. If I were in Miami and I needed cheering up, I would just go back to the bakery, smell those kitchen fragrances and marvel at those pastries. In fact, I think Cafe Versailles will be my first stop when I go back to Miami. If one can fall in love with a restaurant/bakery, then I’m in love with Cafe Versailles.

Extremely affordable dinner. The restaurant had so many options. I wouldn't say that the food was out of this world, but for the price, you got a great sized portion meal that was good. The wait staff was super attentive. There was a wait outside for dinner with close to 20 people, but the wait was only like 10 minutes.

I lately had the joy of dining at a Cuban restaurant, and the experience was truly lovely. Right from I stepped in, the warm and inviting environment made sure that I would have an unforgettable meal. I chose to go for the Cuba-style beef steak that I had heard so much about, and it lived up to its expectations. The meat was cooked right, soft and full of delicious flavors making it more amazing with traditional Cuban spices. The freshness of each bite showed the quality of ingredients used thereby making the meal both gratifying and self-indulgent. The service also stood out on this occasion. The staff were not only friendly but also efficient beyond belief. My food came quickly and even the smallest detail was well taken care of. They saw to it that I wanted nothing without being obtrusive hence giving me a chance to completely enjoy myself. By all accounts, some great food coupled with exceptional service made for a memorable evening out. If you like Cuban cuisine or just want something different, this is definitely one place you should consider visiting once in your life time.

Saturday night after 6pm, the wait was 45 minutes but worth it. Had a couple of mojitos while waiting. The meal was excellent, the price very fair and the desserts were great. Especially the flan and the crème soufflé. A most go spot in Miami.

This was our first time trying Cuban cuisine, and the first restaurant we visited after landing did not disappoint. Even though it was busy around 2-3 pm, the line moved quickly, and we didn't have to wait long. The hostesses were welcoming, and our server was friendly. We particularly loved their famous sandwich, and the other dishes were good as well. Overall, they offer reasonable prices with great service, and I’m happy with our visit.

It's recommended as the must visit Cuban restaurant when you visit little Havana in Miami. We've been there, waited for 40 minutes before getting a table. The food was delicious. For a family of four we should have ordered 3 entrees as the portions were huge. We also purchased some bakery from its sister bakery store, also a long wait, but worth the effort.

What an experience! The ropa vieja… It was so delicious, it felt like a Cuban grandmother came all the way just to prepare it with all her loving hands. And the flan? A dream! Eating that dessert made me feel like I was floating on a cloud, swimming in a sea of caramel. But our waitress added the group service fee to our bill, even though we were five people, not six. But honestly, this little mishap couldn’t overshadow how amazing the restaurant was. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Spot with 2 big indoor dining rooms and a big patio. It looks and feels very classy. The decorations and chandeliers and the service is on point. And I couldn’t believe the prices, they are so cheap and the food is soooooo good. This place is always packed. Very nice atmosphere. Heard a lot about this place so I had to try it in my first visit to Miami. This was honestly a fine dining experience with cheap prices.

Not what I expected. Not a lot to choose from. 1 fish fritter is $3. It's so small. Not enough savory choices for people who don't eat pork or meat. Spinach empanada was very good though. I didn't care for Cafe con Leche. Extra light and sweet is subjective to the person making it. Most of them don't speak English and that's not good for business in an English speaking country and state.

One of the best places in Miami to have real Cuban food! The taste is just great! Here you can find all the most common/traditional cuban dishes, and cooked with great excellence. They also have a huge variety of desserts. The staff is very friendly and the prices are good. There is a chance that you may need to wait some minutes outside, until a table is ready, but the wait is usually not too long and it is totally worth it. I recommend this place 100%.

The best Cuban bakery you can find in Miami. Every single thing here tastes amazing and if you’re a sweet tooth you’re gonna love this place and the best part is that is just connected on the side of the restaurant so you can eat and then have amazing desserts. You will have plenty of options here that can be hard to decide but anything you choose is going to be good. My recommendations: pastel de tres leches, nata or dulce de leche cortada, chocolate eclair, mil hojas con crema y dulce de leche on top, mini coconut pie con dulce de leche, coconut flan.

Delicious cuban-style breakfast. Their bakery is awesome. Only negative is that they no longer make palitroques. They were out favorites and worth the trip to Miami ☹️

Large bakery next door to the restaurant. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and understood english. Service is fast and there is enough place way inside to sit even at crowded time. Coffee was okay. Con leche and cortadito. Pastries were excellent. I tried spinach empanada and pie and coconut macroons. All flavorful and different from each othes. Lots of guava pastries also good.

  • 3/5 Kathan K. 2 years ago on Google
It was very difficult to convey the instructions in English to the ladies at the counter. The displayed menu also did not show what ingredients were there in the items which made it difficult to understand what the dish actually is. An item with a “V” beside it you’d expect it to be vegan or vegetarian but it had meat in it. Coming to the food, the Cuban toast was very hard and chewy and the Cuban coffe with milk felt like a regular coffee only, nothing fancy. The cuban colada was really nice: strong taste if espresso and also sweet. I liked it. Lots of other dishes to try and taste though.

So authentic that the staff doesn't care about being nice to the patrons. This place is intentional in what they do and how they do it. Food is good - right ingredients following the old school recipes. Portions could definitely be bigger. I'd recommend ordering several plates and have them family style

Hands down you're going to have to wait to get in! Plan to queue for up to 45 minutes.... and no, you cannot call and book ahead! They don't make exceptions. That in and of itself displays this restaurant's popularity. Long story short you won't be disappointed. Whatever torture you endured inhaling gorgeous food aromas while waiting will be well rewarded. When you're done eating they'll kinda expect you to go on your way so others can also enjoy. In my opinion it's only fair. My advice:-It may be a good idea to acquaint yourself with the menu as you wait. It's extensive. Also if you come later (say an hour or two to closing) you'll get to linger longer after your meal.

  • 5/5 Ann-Kathrin P. 1 year ago on Google
Great restaurant with great food! Also check out the great bakery and the coffee place, the Flan is fantastic! However, since the place is so popular, plan your meal ahead - normally there is always a queue and you have to wait quite long. We loved it there- 10/10!

First timer in Miami & had to come here to try it out & it did not disappoint! They're famous for a reason, tried their guava & cream cheese & their ham empanada. Super super good! $5 for 3 pastries is already worth the hype. Satisfied that brunch snack. Need to come back for other pastry goods!

A trip to Miami is not complete without a visit to Versailles bakery. On the day we visited it was buzzing with activity. Busy with locals speaking Spanish getting some of their favourite bakery treats and a morning cafe con leche. A must. Browse their windows, ask questions and enjoy some of their tasty quick treats and eats. If you get a sandwich ask for it to be warmed up. Makes perfect for a quick breakfast or easy daytime snacks. Gracias

Two words: Tres Leches. If you're eating at the restaurant (get the Cuban sandwich) stroll over here to the bakery and get a Tres Leches pastry. If you're not eating here, drive over here -- even if it's out of the way, and get a Tres Leches from the bakery here. It's that good. There will be queues here, any time day or night, so make sure to budget ample time for your visit

When in Little Havana, I definitely recommend hitting this place for your Cuban food experience. The outside of the building was beautiful to just look at. Same with inside interior. As for the food, OMG, all of it was delicious. We all ordered something different, and table shared everything. It was extremely hard to not order another dish after we were done because we wanted to try more. If you have never had Cuban food, definitely hit this place because you will not be disappointed.

🍪The Most Incredible Biscotti EVER!!🍪 I hold religiously to the proverb that a tea is best enjoyed with a biscotti on the side--and I've yet to taste a better biscotti than what Versailles Cuban Bakery makes! I was fortunate enough to receive a box of them from a friend (they last several days after purchase, so gifting is encouraged!). They're quite sizable--almost as big as my hand--and incredibly soft and delightfully "doughy." The almond variant comes with slices of almond coating the entire treat, all with a rich, succulent almond-extract note permeating each bite. I've tried dipping them in several different types of tea, and everything from black rose blends to rooibos vanilla has tasted amazing in complement. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic Cuba Sandwich! It was mid day so we chose to stop at the bakery instead of the full restaurant experience and we were not disappointed. Great, helpful staff and we were able to sit outside with our pets. Security guard is roaming around and makes small talk to add comfort. Make sure you stop in, no other spot matches up!

Versailles Cuban Cuisine lights up the night with its neon glow, promising an authentic culinary experience. The bean soup may have been a bit too subdued for my taste, but my friend found it quite enjoyable—a reminder that flavor is in the palate of the beholder. The real star of the show, however, was the seafood mix drenched in a creamy white sauce. Every bite was a journey through a sea of fresh, perfectly cooked seafood, each morsel harmonizing with the luxurious sauce that begged to be savored. The crusty topping added a delightful textural contrast that made the dish not just food, but an experience. It’s a dish I would happily clear off the plate every time.

This is the Cuban food spot you are looking for. Went on a Saturday at 1:45PM. Long line on the patio...put our name on the list and grabbed a mojito from the patio bar for the wait. Line moved pretty fast, we were seated in about 30 min. Large menu. We went for the basics....Cuban sandwich with boiled yucca/mojo and roasted pork with moros and yucca. Also had fried yucca app with the insanely good cilantro sauce. All food and drinks came out reasonably fast. The food was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Just what we were looking for. Can't hype Versailles up enough. Worth making this a lunch destination

When googling authentic Cuban cuisine this came up at the top of the list. Initially it was appealing because it had parking available which is a definite perk in a city. We played it safe going mid afternoon as I’ve heard it can get busy. We were seated within about 5 minutes. The decor I can only describe as ornate diner but it was definitely fun. The food arrived quickly, was a large portion, and was tasty. It wasn’t the best Cuban food I’ve had but I liked the history behind the restaurant which I read online making it a worthwhile stop.
