This was the coolest museum I have ever been to. The cost of admission is a little high but the art available is extremely cool and worth it. Much better than the Perez museum, you can walk around without a mask and parking isn’t $25 like it is at Perez. I wish I knew about this place before. Definitely coming again!

Worth the visit! The tickets are on the pricier side (yayoi kusama exhibit requires extra ticket purchase) but the exhibits were beautiful and the themes were nice. The museum was big enough to spend quite a while inside, and the employees for the kusama exhibit were super nice and kind! The scavenger hunt was very fun and I love the sticky notes you can put up near the lockers.

Beautiful art museum. 10 out of 10. They even have a Kehinde Wiley in there. Do I need to say more? Because of this museum, Otis Kwambe is now a new favorite artists. Everyone go check out right away. It’s only $15. And they even offer a student discount. I also recommend paying the extra $10 for the optical illusions. Definitely worth it to get in the mirror room’s. They have 36 rooms full of artwork!!

This is where I fell in love with Kehinde Wiley. His pieces are breathtaking and his colors are so bold and vibrant. We visited this museum on a rainy Sunday. No lines or crowds. Great space with 36 rooms. I really enjoyed the collection of art they had. Another favorite of mine was the Yayoi Kusama‘s exhibit “Where the lights in my heart go”. Amazing! Definitely recommend this museum. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful and well-curated museum. They have a wide range of art from different decades with mixed mediums. Really appreciated the descriptive placards next to the pieces to explain not only the artist, year, and medium, but also added info about inspiration for a ton of the artwork. Helped me get a lot more meaning out of the experience! Purchased the infinity rooms add on and those were great! This is a beautiful museum to explore.

One of the biggest private collections in the US and the biggest in the state, Rubell Museum was a place I was looking forward to go to and I’m glad I did it. The collection had a big variety of artists, techniques and concepts. They have a reasonable ticket price, as well as very good deals and memberships. If you’re looking to do something different, outside of the typical tourist areas, this place it’s great for you.

The Rubells built one of the most significant and far-ranging collections of contemporary art in the world, now encompassing 7,200 works by more than 1,000 artists—and still growing. There is a nice restaurant with outdoor seating and a gift shop.

I enjoyed doing the scavenger hunt and looking at all the variety of art. I’d say it is a good price for all the art you get to see. It took us less than an hour to look at all the art but you could spend 1-2 hours here. The Keith Herring art was my favorite

An incredible collection of contemporary works. From Keith to Yayoi to Kehinde, it’s a truly unique (and spacious) gallery. It’s so roomy that, at times, I felt like I was the only one in the museum. Highly recommend!

Rubell Museum is one of my favorite museums in Miami. They have a large collection of big name contemporary art, pop art. Very fun to look at. I can’t believe it’s free. Don’t miss out when you visit Miami.

Just wow! It’s the best museum in Miami. Last Saturday we had reservation at Leku for Miami spice (it’s really good btw) and got surprised to find out about rubell museum just next door. We decided to go there just after our branch. I bought tickets online and our 4 years old daughter got the ticket for free. At the entrance we received a paper with pictures of the exhibited artworks to make exploring art for kids even more interesting. It was a game changer for my daughter and us. She was excited to do the quest and we were just enjoining the museum. The collection is fabulous! I love Kusama with her famous infinity room. Another artist who amazed me with her artworks was Casa von Zeipel. It’s incredible! Must see collection! Definitely recommend this museum to everyone who is visiting Miami or living here.

There are so many reviews about the fantastic collection, that I won't go into that, except to say that it's one of my favorite museums that I've ever visited. My 5 and 7 year old children loved the museum (I can't say the same for their visit to the Louvre!). The staff were outstanding! There are a lot of museums that scowl at kids and make them feel unwelcome, but the lady at the entrance gave my kids a big smile and enthusiastic welcome, and very KINDLY reminded them to experience the art with their hands not their eyes. Plus we had lovely chats with all the docents - very welcoming!

It is a small museum of contemporary art. Very well maintained with good spaces and very well chosen works of art belonging to a family. After touring the museum, it is recommended to have dinner at the museum's Leku restaurant, which opens at 6 pm and which has, in addition to the terrace, a very nice outdoor bar surrounded by plants and lights.

Really loved The Rubell Museum with it's spacious rooms and different styles of Artists. Most of the Art Works are beautiful yet others made you think, isn't that what Art is all about! Definitely my favorite Museum here in Miami.

This museum contained very diversified art forms from paintings to sculpture to photography to complex arts and crafts. Art for everyone, very visually appealing. Some provocative (not for kids). The prices are fair with an additional fee for a special exhibit(should be included in general admission). Gratis tours available. Parking relatively easy. Upscale restaurant on premises($$$). Gift shop.

Their commitment to diversity and inclusion of featured works and artists is really evident. For the cost of entry, there's so much to see. I recommend paying the additional amount to experience the Kusama Infinity Rooms, it's so worth it!!

I loved it. It was very cool with a lot of art from major artist to more new comers. The only thing I would have done differently is provided more info for some artist like Keith Haring.

The exhibition during art week 2023 was amazing. So many large scale pieces that you just don’t see much at the fairs. It’s a must see.

We were a little rushed due to a private event occurring that evening. A good variety of artists and styles were on display.

The exhibit gorgeous. One of the attending personnel horrible. On our way out, the locker pad of the locker where I was instructed to leave my 14” by 8” bag (because it was too large) didn’t work and the young man had to bring a special key to open it. He interrogated me on the contents of my bag, the different objects I had inside, what my wallet had inside and the brand of my bag. That was on our way out. On our way in the reiterated questions were about why we didn’t want to pay extra for an exhibit we had already seen, and where we had seen it. We got a full interrogation on our way in and our way out. With an attitude. And while we were in, I saw several women with bags, one was a mother with a full diaper bag and other bags. We were not welcome, under a guise of exclusivity.

I went to see a temporary Yayoi Kusama exhibit. Rubell shows a Basquiat , Damian Hirst and some nice modern and contemporary art.

Very big and interesting museum where you'll see many original things. You can buy a ticket with two more rooms to see, the first one is full of mirrors and great, the other one is way less interesting.

This was a surprisingly amazing Museum to visit. The individual entry was extremely reasonable as was the season membership pass, I believe it's $50 for the year as a member for unlimited visits and $15 per visit per individual if you don't purchase a membership. I was surprised how large the space was once inside, it does not seem like it is that big from the outside when you walk up to the front desk next to the restaurant. I liked the flow through the rooms that they set up and the long hallway which opened up into and enormous room with huge floor to ceiling sized art pieces.

This minimalist massive museum is all about the collection of the Rubell family. If you are into contemporary art you know what to expect, if not I guess you can use the art as background for your selfies or just be shocked, scratch your head and wonder what the heck is all thus about. 😉

This is an amazing avant-garde Art collection. I visited twice and it was very rewarding as they rotate some of the art. We were very lucky to attend an impromptu operatic event hosted by Mrs Rubell herself. Highly recommended!
