FRAUDULENT CLINIC. STAY AWAY. WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. They are excellent at taking your call when you make an appointment, but god forbid you have a billing issue. Then they will hang up on you repeatedly. Not to mention their doctor overcharged me three times the amount I was supposed to pay for services. Dr. Nada El Mazboudi outright dismissed a health concern I had when I asked for a referral to a psychiatrist - which she is NOT. And should therefore not judge my reason to see any specialist and especially not insinuate that I just want to see a psych for stimulants. That was incredibly offensive, off-putting and lacking in professionalism. Next, I was given labs and tests that I did NOT ask for. This doc really didn't listen well. I asked for a referral to an allergist and she took it upon herself to bill me (several times might I add) for an expensive allergy test. Later I was double billed for these services. Even my insurance said: It's VERY STRANGE that two procedure codes could be done on the same day for the same diagnosis code. It is not right to take advantage of people. Health care providers are not meant to steal from us. I hope someone from Borinquen actually addresses my concerns because right now I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning there and making sure everyone knows it.

That place is horrible . The workers are terrible . I am talking about the dental department on 5th floor , them people think they can walked on you just because they work there . There’s that chubby light skin Haitian bitch she’s rude and terrible and disrespectful. I had to check her last time because she’s was being rude and unhelpful. Please if you have a toothache and think going to that place will fix it you wrong , they take forever to check you in and you have to spend 400$ 450$ for an extraction. Stay away from that place. Like take my advice if I could give them 0 stars I would’ve .

How can you let Dr Nau go without letting us patient know that she is no longer with you guys. Her work was phenomenal. She gave me a lot of great advice to make sure my health was on point at all times. I am very disappointed with you guys. How can you schedule patients with a new doctor (a resident- a student) - going from a female provider to a male provider without notice is disrespectful- I am the patient and I am being shortchanged and taken for granted. Zero respect for the patient. I will be looking for Dr Nau until I find her

If you need a chiropractor, DO NOT come here and looking for Oscar Adorno-Bruno. He ALWAYS makes you wait for more than 1 hour. Today I came 1 hour early. And left super upset because I waited for almost 2 hours. Ohh, but if you come 15 min late, he won’t take your appointment, and you have to reschedule it for another day. (Making you waste another day coming and waiting for another hour to see you) His service is not even that good. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with doctors. Super disrespectful in every single way. The worst part of all? He’s locked in his room DOING GOD KNOWS WHAT. And won’t take the manager’s calls.. Like……… what? Just don’t come here because is the only chiropractor in this place. Don’t waste your precious time with him. I would totally choose another place to go.

Complementary Medicine - Patient care was very good. Vitals taken by Waleska and she was attentive, caring and diligent. Dr. Adorno exceeded my expectations. His interaction with patients demonstrates his professionalism, compassion and excepcional patient care.

Love this place once again. I have been coming here since I was little. I’m now 23 and love this place again. So many new upgrade and new add-on. I’m currently going here to see specialist for my lower back. I love coming to the appointment. Fist bumping Dr.Oscar and the staff make feel like we’re friends. Dr. Oscar does wonders for my back pain and always check if I’m ok with everything before continuing. Also amazing staff such as Adriana! I would call her and she would have the sweetest voice. Great personality! I love it here. Anyone looking for amazing clinic should come here!

The chiropractor and staff here are amazing. They always greet you with a smile and make you feel comfortable. I always look forward to my appointment. Adriana the receptionist is always friendly and Dr.Adorno has a funny personality that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed during your sessions.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I scheduled an appt with MD but was seen by RN instead (without any notice) who also seemed to be in a rush and not interested in my concerns. They told me I had wait for the blood work but then everyone went for lunch and by the time they came back, the lab was already closed. I waited for almost 2 hours for nothing. And no one apologized for anything. There was another patient who was unsatisfied with their service and was yelling and screaming in Spanish. It was a chaos! I would really avoid this place.

Declining cervix check is not an option to him when it is everywhere else. I only came here bc I didn’t have insurance at the time and now I can’t switch to another doctor due to how far I am but please IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE DO NOT COME HERE! HORRIBLE!

My son has been seeing Dr. Fuentes since he was a baby. He is now 14. She always does a thorough check and is very attentive to any concerns. The clinic sends out reminders when check ups are due and the staff is always very welcoming and helpful.

Love Love LOVE this location! Dr. Oscar Adorno and Dr. Ricardo Barnes are both outstanding doctors. They are very compassionate, determined, and patient in providing their patients with a helpful treatment plan. Last, but not least, Adriana! Adriana has a beautiful personality! She's caring, positive, always smiling and has great energy. She's an excellent assistant and of GREAT help. In other words...the Complementary Medical Department Team are AWESOME ;-) Thank you for all the work that you all do in helping your patients. Starting with the front desk, they’re always willing to help/assist!! The nurses are awesome, the blood test lady is AWEmazing and my twins have been there since Dr Negrette so we love Borinquen!! Attempting to make an appointment for my son. The dental department picks up the phone and then hangs up right away, after putting you on hold for 25 minutes. I'm on my second call there today and at 31 minutes and still ringing. Never had a medical facility treat me this bad. They just picked up and hung up again without saying anything. HORRIBLE 😔

Good morning everyone I love this place ,all the staff are friendly but sometimes I’ll tell you like right now I have the appointment at 7.30am and the doctor is not even here, that on unacceptable!!!!! And that’s the only thing they need to work on really…. Why we make appointment if we are not going to seen on that time…..

I recently visited a chiropractor at this location and out all the appointments I've had this was by far the best one. I've been to more than 100 appointments and none of them compared to this one. The doctor provided excellent service that I will never forget. Another fantastic doctor is Dr.Borick. She is patient, nice and helpful. I've been coming here for more than 18 years it is still my favorite health care center in Miami.

This place is TERRIBLE! I’ve never had a worse experience at a medical center. You cannot get anything done without seeing a specialist, and it takes months to get any appointment or even a prescription refill. A few of my terrible experiences: -I’m new to Miami and wanted to immediately continue all of the progress I’ve made in PT. I needed a referral to continue in Florida. it took two months to get my initial appointment and once I met with my primary care provider, they said I’d have to see a specialist for my neck before they’d write me a referral for PT. That appointment took another few months before theyd take me. I lost so much progress with my injury. - I was in a dangerous flying situation, and for a few months after, I took anti anxiety meds whenever I flew. When I moved to Miami to refill, my PCP wouldn’t give me a refill without seeing a psychologist. When I went to the psychologist office, they would not see me unless I signed away my rights and agreed to get drug tested whenever they wanted. When I pushed back, they told me they send the drug test results to the DEA. What an invasion of privacy! They were also very secretive about it. -I took an MRI for my neurologist in September that cost a lot of money. We had a follow-up in November (because everything always takes a few months). The day before the appointment, she cancelled and they told me they’d reschedule. They’ve never called me to reschedule, and I’ve called back 5-6 times and cannot get a response. It is January! -similar to the story above, I had an irregular test with a doctor that they want to follow-up to make sure it’s not serious. This time I had to cancel my October appointment because I thought had covid, but I’ve also called back 5-6 times and no one will return my call. -lastly, whenever you show up, even for a quick appointment, expect to wait in the waiting room for over an hour. This is a TERRIBLE place to get care. If you’re looking for a new place to get healthcare, steer as far away as possible from here.

I like Dr. Garcia, Dr. Archer, and Dr. Joseph. They really listen to your concerns and get down to business. However, staff tends to be rude and dismissive. They are usually overbooked and people get restless. There has to be a better way to schedule. Expect to be there for 2-4 hours. Jonathan from the lab is really great, always friendly. I usually get pinched a lot of times, but he gets me on the first try. And Susan is really good too. :) Parking can be a pain, so good luck.

Thank you for providing the covid-19 vaccine to the community my daughter received her vaccine and it was great. Thank you Adriana for helping her with a smooth process 100 starts for her.

Very kind staff and nurse practitioners. Easy, free parking, but good luck seeing a physician. They run very late. It took me over 2 hours to get 15 minutes with a nurse practitioner and that is without any blood work. Go somewhere else where they respect your time and where you can see an M.D.

My cousin went here and the receptionist and secretaries were very rude when asked when the Doctor would be in office, and then when the doctor Harry Archer was in office he called my cousin and was extremely rude and unethical when he called her back. If you are not of Haitian decent (even if you are black) you will not get satisfactory customer service. Seek other medical attention.

Complementary Medicine is the best department. They always are very nice and friendly to me. The secretary is very nice, she has a positive attitude always!

The people are very friendly and doctor are very thorough. The telehealth is so easy. I can do everything for my phone!!!

My experience was excellent, the front desk service was perfect , I had an appointment in the second floor , it was my first time in this building and the front desk assistant (Jocsan Vargas) help me at everything and made me feel comfortable, all the time he is nice with the patients.

I had an amazing experience here at Borinquen, the nurse name Marie made me feel really comfortable and welcoming such a sweet wonderful lady. I will recommend you getting her if you visit this doctor.

I love my doctor Dr.Domingo Garcia, he is an awesome doctor, I know when I come to see him I will be there for a minute which I don’t mind, because he is a very experienced knowledgeable doctor and he take he time with you and your chart. During Covid lock down in 2021 , we was doing Telehealth appointments and he couldn’t reach me that way so he called. While talking with me he could hear that I had Covid and I needed to get to get to the hospital immediately he ask me to obey him cause I didn’t want to go again. I did what he said and immediately went. When I arrived both my lungs had collapsed, But God didn’t allow me to died and used the good Dr.Garica. I do recommended

Should I have an option to give u 0 star someone call me to say the blood test of my daughter is not right when I ask what is wrong they say I can not say I have to be there w the kid , WTH is wrong w this people if something was wrong I have the right to know what happened and take my options to take care of my kid , they want to take the kid for charge the fee for the app is completely ridiculous if something is wrong I need to know as soon as possible , less than cero emphatic and care about patient

Rating the care and the people that you meet in the offices, this would be a 5 star rating. However, this is the most frustrating company to deal with and the disorganization is hard to fathom. I was referred to an oral surgeon for a difficult tooth extraction and required copies of my x-rays to take to the oral surgeon. The oral surgeon told me I would be doing them a tremendous favor if I got the x rays and brought them with me. They said that Borinquen was very difficult to work with and exchange records. I went to the facility to fill out the forms to request the 72 hour process. I was happy that I received a call that the records were available early and was instructed to go to 2nd floor Medical Records of the 3601 Federal Highway location. I arrived, went to 2nd floor and was told I was not in the system and that they did not know where medical records was located. They sent me to 5th floor Dental to get the records. The 5th floor person told me I had to make a formal request, wait 72 hours and they I could pick the records up. I explained that this had already been done and I was instructed to come to the facility, 2nd floor medical records to pick them up. They sent me back to 2nd floor. After calling main switchboard and asking the person that I was speaking with to talk to the desk, they told me everyone was in a meeting and I needed to wait an hour to receive the records. Then, they found them but told me there was no way for me to make the payment. I tried paying cash but was told that they could not accept that. I called the switchboard again seeking a way to pay by phone or on line since I had to get back to work. While on hold someone finally came, over an hour after arriving that was able to log in and take payment. I should have been concerned when another doctor office said the organization was hard to deal with. They were right. But again, the care is good and the people are friendly. If you have the patience and time to deal with a totally dysfunctional origination, this is a good place to go.

WARNING DO NOT GO TO BORINQUEN. Please if you have time read all of the 1 Star reviews. My experience was with the dental department they RUINED my smile and my teeth trying to cut corners they are severely under staffed and should not be able to operate.

I absolutely love and recommend patients to see Doctor Helen Nau in the North Miami Borinquen location. She is absolutely amazing and she’s straight forward. Very blunt. Someone who really cares about your health. I’ve never met a doctor like her. She does not sugar coat anything and takes her time to explain everything in full detail

I absolutely love coming here. Dr. Barnes is very knowledgeable in his work. Adri and Jessica are amazing staff as well. Feels more like a family oriented office than just a regular in and out Dr. Office.

I have been calling for a few weeks now. I was told the new patient department will give me a call and no one has reached out to me at all. I’m disappointed because I have been trying to see a doctor as soon as possible to make sure I’m healthy. The uncertainty isn’t a good feeling it makes me feel like they don’t care and turn me away. This doesn’t make sense no explanation I have been calling since early last month.

Terrible, taking over 3 months for my father to get dentures. I have requested the doctor to contact me and never get's back to me. Shame, that the elderly have to deal with this. If you do not have someone advocating for you, they take advantage.

The bi*c* Luisa at the desk in dental 5th floor gave me an attitude when I ask why I was being charged more than usual. The day before I was here for a cleaning and waited for an extra 29 mins because the girls at front desk called me and I did not hear them with baby crying behind me and the Glass they are behind Noone one get up to see if I was here just lazy.

Everything it's good except for the lab they used Natera it's the worst. This lab it's expensive.

Arianna, Jessica and Dr. Barnes at complementary medicine have helped me so much physically, mentally, and emotionally. Everytime I come to the office I am greeted by name and with smiles. I’ve been in Borinquen for years now and since I’m seeing dr Mestre my experience has been always really good . Always on time and very acertive with their diagnosis . Referrals are priority and they always make sure I receive the referral notice and always follow up .im very happy and besides their office is two blocks away form my apartment
