Jack Wattley Discus is an amazing facility! I bought 3 discus and 20 neon tetras. The prices are great and quality of the fish are second to none. I would recommend going to check out the facility it’s quiet the experience. Gabe the owner is extremely knowledgeable and went through and hand picked my fish. The sizes range from 2 inch to 8 inch and he even has amazing XL wild caught. He has a large selection of plants and unique drift wood, plus really great deals on tetras. Hands down best facility I’ve ever been to!

I have ordered 5 fish from here over the last several months and they are all beautiful fish. I have the Eruption, Tiger Turquoise, Tiger Blue Panda, Ring leopard, and Albino Yellow Crystal. I had only 1 die shortly after arrival and Gabe was quick to send a replacement. He has also responded to any questions I have had through this process as well. All fish were packaged very well. I have 12 discus in a 220 gal. if I ever find myself with a bigger tank I will not hesitate to purchase more fish from here.

I've been in the aquarium hobby for a few years now, and recently, I decided to start keeping Discus. After a lot of research and word of mouth recommendations, I decided to go with Wattley Discus. I'm so glad that I did because it's been an incredible experience working with Gabe and the staff @ Wattley Discus!!. They have incredible fish, and are very on top of answering any questions and accommodating the customer. I placed my order right before the Christmas holiday, and Gabe kept in touch and told me exactly when he'd be shipping out my order. I initially chose the airport --> airport shipping option, but due to airline backups that would have set my order back a week, so I decided to switch to UPS door to door service. Gabe had my order out that same day and my beautiful Discus arrived the next day. They were very well packaged, and every single one arrived alive and healthy. After a 1.5 hour acclimation I put them in the tank and they were showing incredibly bright colors within an hour of being in the new tank. I fed them 5 hours later as recommended in the acclimation video and they all went straight for the food and were devouring it! Ordered several small wild altums twice from Gabe. Once they are acclimated in the tank, they grow like crazy. Above all, Gabe listened and took care of my specific request on the order. Great customer service. Thanks Gabe.

Out of 80, yes, 80, Cardinal tetras sent to me, only 21 survived. Gabe was upset that I wasn’t happy with those results, and called me a twisted human.whoa, and I have ordered several times from him. This attitude from a businessman? The fish were delivered on time with both orders, so the fault does not lie with delivery service, the fault is in the packing of the fish. He does not care about his customers OR his fish. Jack watley had a good reputation and a decent business, but that is long gone.The fish sold today are inferior and not packed well at all for shipping. I cannot recommend the owner or his products to be trusted, and I will never shop here again.He doesn’t guarantee live delivery, yet most all others do; I wonder why that is? There are other good sources online, I suggest myrtle beach for discus, they have beautiful healthy fish, and they stand behind their product and service.

10/10!!! INCREDIBLE pricing and incredible fish. I've been in the hobby a long time but have never ventured into discus. After months of research we settled on Wattley and man are we happy we did. We placed the order Sunday night and they arrived Tuesday morning at around 10:00 am. Not only were they amazingly packaged but they are all healthy and happy a few hours into being in their new home. I will certainly be ordering more sooner than later!

I can't rave enough about this company! My order was delivered to my door in less than 24 hours of placing it (Miami to Wisconsin). All the specimens came packaged extremely well & very healthy. Larger than what I ordered & great coloring for their relative age. I took the time to call Jack and give he and his team my praises. I've ordered discus from 3 other distributors, his are by far the best. They have my business for life. Keep up the great work!

We ordered 8 discus, 20 cardinals, 4 red plecos, 2 large plants, food, and meds. Packaging for the fish was professional, thorough, and remained intact through shipping. There are thorough directions for transitioning the fish to the tank on the website and in a video, making that process very simple. The fish acclimated quickly, as you can see from these pics that were taken within just a few hours of being introduced into the tank. We did have one fish that was DOA, which is a risk anytime you're dealing with fish. We had a refund for the fish within a day of the store being notified. Gabe is responsive and professional, communicating well and doing what was needed to get our fish to us and correcting issues quickly. Working with the store to stock our newly redone 220 gallon tank was a great experience and we highly recommend them.

Will never buy from a local pet shop again, the quality of Fish that we buy from Wattley Discus is amazing, they are always healthy and true to size. This is our first time buying fish online and the Wild Discus that we got from Jack Wattley are beautiful and not shy. Package is very well protected. Following the instructions, everything went smoothly into our aquarium. After a day or two, those Wild Discus are active and started eating and slowly showing their colors. Those Wild Discus eat any types of food we give them and so much easy to take care than my Domestic Hybrid Discus that we got from local store. This time we got the Blue face Heckel and Cardinal Tetras. The shipping went very smoothly and after I unpacked and followed Gabe instructions on acclimate those fish to my tank water, they look very healthy and the Heckel Discus colors came back few hours later. This is my first order of discus from Wattley. The fish are amazing, shipping well done! So happy with my fish. Will absolutely order again from them. Planing on buying their food as well. Gabe was awesome. I called yesterday to try and place an order and he slipped me in. He was out of stock of one discus I ordered so he texted me a picture of a close replacement to make sure I was ok with it. Great customer service. Fish came in awesome and healthy looking. I don’t usually post many reviews but I’m very impressed. I ordered an order earlier this week two days later I had my fish. And to say the discus they sell are beautiful is an understatement. All 5 are looking good. I did have a small problem with my Corey cats arriving doa,but it happens. They refunded me for those so there was no problems. Gabe was very nice and courteous. If I need anymore fish I will not hesitate to order again. They are top notch if you need discus. I love my new little fish friends. I received the ten Tefe discus yesterday Oct 11, 2022. One of them looked especially small ,thin and was struggling compared to others. Today it was found dead. The packaging overall was excellent as usual having ordered discus from you guys in July 2022. I think the fish was just a poor specimen to begin with. Gabe emailed me within few hours of this post and offered a refund on the fish ! Thank you Gabe and I look forward to more purchases from you in the future

Ordered a breeding pair of Eruption Discus. Arrived healthy and spawned 4 days after receiving them. One week later and a healthy hatch of about 400 fry. Great quality fish, will definitely order from them again!

I received a black ram and an electric blue balloon ram , as well as a bristle nose pleco. I received 3 beautiful fish as described . The people complaining about not getting black rams probably do not realized they’ve received juvenile fish that take a few months to get all of there colors . Mine are small but already have beautiful colors coming through. I highly recommend , give them a shot . Thanks guys for the great service !

I have been a fan and follower of Jack Wattley and Jack Wattley Discus for close to 30 years. My dream has been to set up a large Discus tank and fill it with Wattley Discus. Until recently, work and family have prevented me from realizing that dream. I am now retired, and about to make that dream come true.

They're great !! Specially on Discus fish. Their prices are very good and the quality of their DISCUS is very good. They do carry excellent German Rams and some other varieties, always in very good shape. You rarely see (if any) sick or dead fish laying around unlike other regular pet stores. Gabe (the owner) is very knowledgeable and always available for questions. Highly recommend.

I love gold tetras. I found some at my local fish store bought them brought them home and they died the next day. I was very disappointed. I seen them on Jack Wattley website and was so excited I decided to only order a few in case I had assumed a similar experience. However I got these fish today and they are so Lively and healthy active and beautiful I am so pleased. I'm going to give them a week to make sure all things are good and definitely order more. Don’t ever buy from here!! Please avoid as Gabe sent me threading message through text message as he sent wrong fish and instead of being professional got angry and started being offensive. Was sold a black ram and this great blue German ram showed up not cool!! Stay away. I have also added Gabe response to the fact he sent wrong fish and other fish not doing well. Definitely the company I want to send money to and receive 💩💩. I will continue to post daily as such a horrible business Gabe. First Picture from website of black ram. Second is what I was sent. These fish don’t change colors they can brighten but don’t change color dramatically. If you don’t have these fish why market and sell them.

Gabe and team were outstanding throughout the entire online fish ordering process. The fish were packed extremely well, the order processed the same day and shipped to me the next morning. Such an easy and painless process. Gabe replied back to all of my email inquiries before and after the sale. The fish arrived in great shape and acclimated to my water well. I would have given a 5 star, however, the only thing I would suggest to them is to perhaps update or add more "true-to-life" pictures of the fish on the website or state that your fish may not look like the fish in the picture. I purchased the black rams and I must say, they do not look like the picture on the web site. They are more blue/black in color. Luckily for me, I am familiar with black rams and my expectation was that perhaps they would not look exactly like the online picture. A lot of people/websites may say "black or mid-night" rams, however, most are really what you would call "blue/black" in color. Will see if over time they develop to look more like their website picture. If so, I will re-post and give a five star. Thanks
