This gym is my all time favorite. The employees are super helpful and friendly, super clean and it’s a no judgment zone. I’ve been working with the personal Trainer “Mac” for several months now and have shown AMAZING progress. He motivates you to keep pushing, and will not give up on you even if you give up on yourself. Extremely professional, and isn’t like any other trainer I’ve had before. He MAKES SURE you’re doing everything the correct way and will even workout with you if you don’t wanna do it alone. I’ve never felt so comfortable working out in a gym until I came to this one! I advise everyone try this gym and the trainer out.

Overcrowded and under equipped. So they have a cheap membership and allow a seemingly endless number of people to sign up, okay. But smith machines and weights are never available and multiple machines are out of order for months at a time. I always go at the least busy time of day. If you want to do any leg press you need to go take 45 pound barbell weights from every smith machine, the leg press storage bars are not fully stocked with weights and neither are the smith machines. The storage bars on leg press and smith machines should be absolutely chock full of weights in an overcrowded gym like this. The dumbells are always missing and you always have to wait or go look for them or pick a weight that is not right for you. On one hand people are selfish for taking multiple weights far from the dumbbell rack to do supersets on machines (they should pay a little more for a less crowded gym) but with planet fitnesses business model they should at least make sure this place is well stocked. The glute machine is broken and I even noticed the hip abductor machine is broken and I left the gym for 3 months and came back and it was still broken. In summary, if they want to have this business model which packs us into a gym for a cheap membership they should be appropriately stocked on weights and machines should be swiftly repaired. If you don’t like having your workout interrupted or paused or have to feel like problem solving every time you go to the gym take that into consideration before joining this gym. I hope they fix it.

Black Card member: Just needed a quick restroom break but their toilets are in horrendous condition. The private sink inside the private stall doesn't even work. Very disappointed.

Honestly I would give this planet fitness zero stars if I could. The showers are FREEZING, the water comes from like 10 feet above you so it PELTS you and there is no handicap stall, the one they have is a broken shower head hose that’s a hazard with sharp edges. What is happening here? Why is corporate allowing this location to exist in this state? Absolutely disgusting, go anywhere else, don’t go here. I’ve actually never seen a planet fitness in this condition before 🤮🤮🤮

Mack, the trainer is a very dedicated and attentive trainer. The classes he offers are intense and really beneficial. They are not the easiest to do because he will not be easy on you he will push you until your breaking point and then some. Although he does close a section for the class the machines are offered in this section are all around. I love having to be part of the class because it makes me feel comfortable, secure, and judgment free. Working with this training is hard but if you are up for the challenge I highly recommend it.

I was here for the Tilly Mom interaction. That lady was a bit neurotic and I was under the impression that she was trying to steal the sun tanning lotion from the Planet Fitness staff. I don’t want to judge a book by its cover but she seemed to be a stimulant or amphetamine abuser as demonstrated by the erratic behavior. Anyways I saw Tilly Mom’s review and thought that the Planet Fitness staff is very friendly and polite at this location. They handled that woman with patience. -Brandon

Mack is a great trainer. He's very knowledgeable , very helpful and he will help you achieve your goals and set up a good training program for you like he's done for me. Full scale gym in a great central location. Open 24 hours a day during the week. Lots of equipment to choose from. A great place to make new friends that are into similar activities. With Black Card membership you can visit and work out at other locations nation wide and more. Staff is always helpful and polite. Stay motivated and go daily.

I’ve been with this gym since it opened. Melanie, who’s the assistant manager, has been here since and she has always given great customer service. The new manager, Josefa, is a great addition to the staff. They both always make everyone feel welcomed. They make it a friendly environment.

This location has had its fair share of really poor customer service staff up until I recently started visiting once again and it made me really happy that they hired new staff. I had to cancel my membership 6 years ago due to the facility being dirty and management not having enough customer care. When I walked in, not only was the place spotless, but I believe there is a staff member named Carlos, the young gentlemen in the front, who absolutely gives his best care to all the customers. There was a long line the first day after having my membership cancelled for five years and this young man literally took care of everyone in such a timely fashion. He even gave me such good explanation on how membership works and what new updates the facility had. I thoroughly am grateful for people in Miami who understand what customer service is truly about. I was not able to continue my membership since I moved out of the area, but I will definitely be visiting again if the same staff is as educated and well versed as Carlos- a true leader and exemplary easy going, friendly, courteous and educated individual who the company should definitely consider moving up, ASAP, if they know what is good for them. Don’t make the same mistake in hiring unprofessional staff that once was. He keeps the place, SPOTLESS. Very good moved, planet fitness.

I love this gym! Its small but comfortable. I like the 24 hour options and thats why I chose it. Heidy is amazing in the wee hours, always with a warm smile and greetings. Only 1 thing is that the male customers should re rack the heavy weights because it us the ones that use them. Other than that all good. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This location is good but could be better. Some of the staff is nicer than others. Most of the people wear their masks but some don’t wear it at all or they only wear it on half of their face. When it’s busy it can be hard to find a parking spot.

On Wednesday, September 7, 2022 , I went into planet fitness located in 775 SW 8th street, Miami Fl 33310 to inquire information regarding their membership and I came across a great employee by the name of Trevor. He took the time to show us the facility, explain the two different type of memberships. He’ went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel comfortable and answered all of our questions .He’ truly provided an exceptional customer service .thank you Trevor. More employees should use your example.

It's definitely not my home gym. It's busy all the time. Machines are dirty. They don't enforce the "wipe down the machines after use" rule. I witnessed 2 employees making fun of another worker who was the only person actually putting in effort. Patrons hog the machines and spend more time on the phone than working out. The signs say no bags on the floor but most people have bags. Locker rooms are gross. I'm glad I didn't have to shower there.

The gym is great for the price. There are tons of aerobic equipment. I have been weight training for a long time and there are a few pieces of equipment that might be added in the future such as a hack squat, incline and decline bench, standing leg curl. These are usually found in professional bodybuilding gyms. They have lots of other amenities available like tanning machines and water massage chairs. Like I said really great gym for the price. Oh and it doesn't get too crowded.

I’ve been a member for 2 years now and I got say that the little Havana location is my go to (even though I have one closer to my house). Starting with the front desk staff they are so welcoming. Stacie from the morning made me feel like a regular from the beginning of my journey . As well as I’ve been to various locations and by far this one had been one of the most up kept planet fitness. The personal trainer at this location is the best .

Excellent experience with Melanie and Emili! Melanie help in all my questions and registration very professionally. Emilio gave a tour with detail explanation of all equipments. Very helpful. I am very satisfied with them.

Although it's usually very crowded and there are some machines that don't work, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, willing to help in whatever is necessary. Vielka always greets everyone with a smile and treats everyone very well.

when i first came into the gym i was kindly attended by Emilio and Melanie the manager who are so sweet. emilio gave me a nice tour and presentation of the rates. helped me book the classes with the trainer. not only are the employees nice but members. the gym is well maintained very nice customer service thank you for your time

Best gym out there to workout in the people are friendly and welcoming. Let’s not even talk about the staff they are awesome always doing their best to make their members feel at home. I love talking to Dayana and iris they really bring a good energy to the gym also the manager Melanie.

This was my first time at this location and the staff was very friendly, Emilio, Christian, and Melanie were awesome! The gym and locker room was very clean as well, will definitely be coming back here!

I started a month ago and I love the fact it’s close to my home and job but still machine not fixed PLEASE FIX so that people don’t have to fight for machines

$10 a month in Miami. It seems too good to be true. One of the best bang for your bucks in the city. Ample space and machines for cardio. My biggest complaint would be the small amount of parking though.

I’ve only been visiting Miami for a month, but the staff are very nice and they are always doing deep cleans of machines. That alone is top tier. The reason for 3 stars is the terrible parking situation. The parking lot is way too small for such a good, central gym. Half of the time, I’m barely finding parking and that is defeating when I’m just trying to workout. This gym could be stellar but they’d have to work with the surrounding businesses to offer more parking for gym goers!

One of the best gym out there!!! The manager (Melanie) is always ready to help us in what we need. The staff are also friendly and funny.( Iris, Dayana, Carlos , Gabriel) They are always trying their very best to keep the gym in a good shape and that’s appreciated.

This is five stars for algorithm purposes only . This place is 3 stars and somehow thats an insult to 3 star gyms but I was feeling petty today . This picture below was taking on March the 7th of this year. But I do remember the staff workers saw me running a mile on the treadmill on a 7.0 speed . But they felt the need to interrupt me mid excercise. Because they felt it was extremely urgent . Id put my shoes cause I was running in my dri fit nike socks. But the gentlemen in the picture is a regular of this same gym . Who comes frequently in open toe sandals and puts his raw toes all over the ab section floor just like many people that attend this gym but I've never seen a single staff member ask them to put back on there flip flops. Keep the same energy across the board . Don't come at me about running in fresh nike socks while you got grown men in thong sandals at your gym rubbing toes on your equipment.

So far, the gym is nice, and they keep the place clean. In this case I share 2 points for the late payment policy. They charged a late fee, but I had already shared the necessary information for them to automatically get the money when they needed it. They made the late charge and charged me additional money that I did not authorize. I spoke with the manager today and the person was friendly and helpful, but the extra charge will not be refunded.

As nice as any planet fitness, but fairly crowded given its central location. If you manage to go on the off hours you will have your pick of machines, and cardio options are plentiful and always available. Staff is friendly at the door and maintain the place well. At peak hours it can be a very male-dominated space, especially the weights section. Wish it were open later on more days of the week to spread out the crowd and allow for more flexibility of when to visit.

The club overall one of my favorite gyms. It’s one of the cleanest and organized I’ve been to. The staff are always friendly and the manager Josefa, welcomes me by name, don’t see that anywhere anymore

They have a new rule here at the little Havana location. They close off a section of the 30 minute circuit section for personal training classes. Even if there is no class you are not allowed to use two of the machines. When asked how long the machines would be off limits, the Personal Trainer told us, for a few hour long classes. 🤔

Update: I'm docking a star for dirty bathrooms, only one sink works, and breaking machines. People just leave their weights on the floor, it's such a liability. I've almost tripped 2x. Parking lot also has cars who aren't using gym. This location is convenient for me, but I prefer the River Landing location. Staff is pretty nice, but owners need to invest in better cleaning staff and protocols. Everyone has just gotten used to the chaos. Dumbbells are always messy and not put back, it's always packed and there's never parking haha. Don't get me wrong, I still go there bc it's my gym and I still enjoy the workout, but they're not running a tight ship.

Ivan the 'manager' is rude. Clock on wall is 2 min fast (pls fix), Ivan goes around telling ppl gym is closed when it is still 8:58pm. Then gets rude with customers when he's told it's not 9pm yet. And when asked to be given better customer service he responds with "leave, leave right now". Regional management please look into your gym manager. Planet fitness member for 10+ years. Rudest interaction I've had with one of your staff. Thank you.

I love my planet fitness blackcard perks and i visited over 40 of their gyms in FL, GA , AL.. and i am sad to report This one is among the least appealing ones i have visited as far as space design and blackcard lounge amenities. It just doesnt quite conform to the birght and modern PF esthetics. I go there only when heading to FIU and this is on its way to basically only use the hydromassage. Whats the feel of it: dated and cramped. The staff is kind and attentive so kudos for that.

This place is musty and crusty. Bathroom/locker rooms you can smell before you even enter. Mold growing on the walls, scum all over the toilets. Rude patrons that will try to squeeze onto the machine while you're on it lifting, dangerous. Watched this old man try to fight two high schoolers the other day over a bar they were using. Wanted to use the tanning and massage and the front refused to turn them on because they "just cleaned them and didn't want to do it again" Very tweaker friendly though Edit: what in the bot reviews? In the span of one day 5 reviews for this place specifically mention how clean it is and Gabe, Ivan, and iris by name. Either this is a bot or the reviews were paid for in some way. unbelievable.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I couldn’t let the good work this team is doing go unnoticed. First, I met Chris who took me on a tour of the gym giving me guidance and showing me amenities I didn’t know existed. On my tour I met Agustin who was kind and knowledgeable. During my workout I interacted with Israel, Andrea, and Omar who were all very helpful. I felt like I was the only person working out because of the level of attention I received. Josefa, the GM, was very nice and helped me get acquainted with the massage machine. This place is well-run, clean, and staffed with great people. I hate working out but I enjoy working out here!

today I did my black plan at Planet fitness who helped me was Maria Teresa or Luna. I arrived with a lot of pain in my shoulder because my work is very heavy and I need to recover urgently... I asked about the hydromassage which I thought was a jacuzzi so I could relax my body due to the pain she told me no it was just a massage chair that has warm water. I registered and waited to use it, after it was my turn I went to ask how I could turn on the warm water in the massage chair because I didn't know what it was like and I had never seen one in my life, so Maria Teresa or Luna was very nervous when I asked this question and she didn't answer me she took me to the living room and told me to sit there, as if I were garbage .... I asked her why are you treating me like that with rudeness and disregard ! i really needed to relax with something warm on my body as i don't have a bathtub in my house... i went to the gym to get help and was treated rudely by this employee... i realized she was more interested in talking with the men she was friends with than paying attention to the customer because when I arrived around 10 pm on 05/16/23 she was in a long conversation with a guy, and when she finished serving me she had already entered into a conversation with another , which can be seen by the gym 's cameras on the day and time I spoke meet your expectations..

It is a well kept place with nice equipment. Unfortunately it is seriously overcrowded. I have been to many many gyms and this is hands down the busiest gym I have ever been to. I had to ask people every time if I could use the machine after they had finished. Meanwhile I am standing around losing my pump and intensity. It’s too bad for such a nice location.

They can do better with cleanliness and maintenance. Reasonable rates though and the upgraded membership allows you to get extra services like tanning beds and mechanical massage furniture. I travel and appreciate being able to use clubs nationwide

I love the staff and the atmosphere. Definitely a great place to go and work out. Since I started going to planet fitness it changed my life, I feel myself getting stronger every time I go. If you need anything or have questions definitely request for for iris or dayana. They have helped me a lot whenever I needed help with anything. You can definitely count on them for anything you need and they are very friendly. Over all great place, great staff.

There is a bold guy at the front( I couldn't see his name). Apparently, he's a manager 🫠 incredibly rude! I've witnessed him be awful to another customer as well. WHY do you have people like that working with the public? Re-train & Reassess

Just let you know - if you want to use massage chair (which is cheap as f and hurts you) or hydro bad (which is really good) - REMEMBER you can use it only 10 minutes, after that you have to run to the reception and beg for another session, but guess what - now you have to stay on a line again. The personal is providing misleading information by phone, be carefull to trust them!!

At this location no one care to put back the weights! We spend more time look for it than working out. Of course it’s people bad habit but if they have a good manager and a good staff they will tell and teaching members to put things back!! Also, this is not safety if you step on any weight, so it’s not a safety place to go.

The staff is comprised of some amazing people. The manager is absolutely wonderful and she's got such a bright future ahead of her. She also has excellent relationships with the members and I've seen it. It was a pleasure getting to know that team for 2+ years. Melanie is completely underrated as a customer service specialist and she works her butt off to ensure every customer is treated fairly and never leaves upset. Thank you to the whole team. The problem here it’s cleanliness. Starting in the bathroom with the homeless people sometimes residing there for hours and the machines full of dirt. It’s a matter of hiring, training and management like most business around the area.

The team at the Little Havana location is attentive, professional and have been extremely helpful on my fitness journey. The new personal trainer, Mack is excellent! He's motivating without being in your face aggressive and provides clear and concise direction. Mack always has a smile on his face but don't be fooled by this gentle giant because he will push you and that's what you want in order to get results. I had been going to another Planet Fitness location but I'm glad I decided to check out this location. I've found my tribe!

I am a new gym goer and I am over the moon with the staff! Iris helped me start up my membership and greets me every time she’s there!! Makes the experience one of a kind. Great atmosphere with good music in the background pretty clean. Thank you Iris for making my experience a good one.

This gym is amazing. Friendly staff and enough machines for everybody. The bathroom is always clean and the heating is good in the showers!😊

I have been to many planet fitness locations across his country, and this one by far is the worst it’s very crowded which in and of itself is not a problem, but the staff allows people just sit on the machines and monopolize the them, even when I went to a staff member about somebody sitting on a machine for 10 minutes he would not do anything about it. when you have a lot of members and not enough machines, you should not allow members to sit on machines for an extended period of time and not be courteous to other members. The dumbbells and weights are scattered throughout the area and not put away in their proper place. The showers have no water pressure.

Worst gym in Miami! Dumbbells are always anywhere but where they should be, creating inconvenience and safety concerns. Personal trainers monopolize equipment during their group sessions, limiting access for other members, when everybody knows that personal training is not allowed. The front desk acknowledged existing rules but she said that they cannot do anything. I urge immediate action, proposing stricter equipment usage policies, clear signage, and designated staff members that make sure the rules are respected, instead of saying that they cannot do anything if the members don´t respect the rules. Last, but not least, there´s a lot of users leaving trash everywhere all the time. Again, where are the staff members to correct the users when they do that? Addressing these issues will not only improve the experience for current members but also attract new ones. I trust in your commitment to enhancing the gym's environment, but you guys still have a loooooooong way to go and if you don't start now, it will be an empty jungle soon instead of a gym.
