Pretty expensive even for me, a Lorry driver class 1. I have served small breakfast and a large latte >£10.00 total price. The place looks extraordinary inside and out, with back garden and VIP garden :) Plenty space to park 10 lorries overthere, Food taste was similar home made ( if you have a home :))) )

WOW!!!!! Incredibly impressed. Cannot wait to return!! First time here visiting after a recommendation. Recommendation fully understood! The restaurant is gorgeous. The staff were super duper nice and down to earth. Our waitress was really funny and lovely to meet. The food was so, so good! We ordered starters of breaded brie with chutney and crispy pork belly with hoisin sauce. Our mains were pot roast belly pork with colcannon mash, crackling and seasonal vegetables. Then Sri Lankan fish curry with vegatable pakora and prawn crackers. Everything was beyond perfect and really, really tasty. I wished I could restart and eat it all over again! I was particularly impressed at the Sri Lankan fish curry. For an English pub it really stood up and had some really good, bold authentic flavours. It felt very cosy, traditional and comforting but high quality and nicely presented. We shared a dessert of homemade treacle tart with lemon and ginger. Very highly recommended!!!

Stopped off as part of a road trip. They were fully booked but managed to squeeze us in. Boss lady (assumption) could not do enough for us, and our server (young lady, long dark hair in a pony tail) was super polite, efficient and not ‘bothersome’ as some people are. We had 2xRoast Beef, which was delicious and they also supplied us with extra gravy on request. If this was my local, I’d be there every Sunday without question. Thank you for a lovely lunch :)

We went here for a family meal to celebrate my Dad's birthday. A warm, friendly welcome greeted us on arrival. The bar had a great selection of beers / ales and wines. The menu contains so many tempting meals it was difficult to make a decision. All the food for the group was amazing and not much got leftover. This is not the first time we have been to The Dog, and as always, its food did not disappoint! Fully recommend a visit.

Thoroughly enjoyable meal, good beer & a friendly and welcoming vibe. We came for a celebration dinner with a group, following a previous visit as a couple to try it out. The food & ambience did not disappoint, & we all had a good time. The menu has a good range of options to suit all tastes & diets. Norton Dog bitter is excellent. Waiting staff are young, but efficient, friendly & clearly well-trained. I've experienced much less impressive service at posher & pricier venues! No hesitation in recommending this delightful country pub. Thank you, & congratulations on getting everything right!

First time here for me and will definitely be going back! The staff were so friendly and, although very busy, our food came relatively quickly after ordering. All the food tasted absolutely amazing.

In 2023, it seems really odd not to have a vegetarian main on your menu. 1 choice on the specials board (wouldn't have been my choice but nothing else available). Disappointing. Thankfully, I was there with a lovely group of people. Staff were friendly but the menu really lets you down.

Best Sunday roast in Suffolk We had the three meat combo. Great portions of meat, veg was delicious and all very well seasoned Plenty of staff on duty made the service exceptional. The fantastic friendly pub atmosphere made for a traditional experience. Having Camden on Draught was just the icing on the cake. Will definitely be returning again soon A+++++
