I went to mixtape on the 2nd of October, they would not let my friend in, she tried to talk to somebody past the bouncers and she was pushed to the floor. I was upset and talked to the bouncers and I also tried to ring the management, I got no answer. I went to mixtape tonight (the 16th October), I was let in, sat down having my drink and I was thrown out. The bouncer (being the same bouncer that had thrown my friend down) could not give me a reason for not letting me in. He told me it was all on the cctv, I asked to see the cctv twice (knowing I had not done anything wrong, as I was sober at the time) and he told me no. I have been going to mixtape for three years and I have never had an experience like this. Very disappointed in the bouncers.

No better place for a Tuesday night out, cheapest drinks you can find, good atmosphere, plenty of booths to sit and by midnight the place is bouncing.

Kaitlyn,guy and Paul were phenomenal bartenders and as an ex bartender myself I could only give them the highest of praise as they handled my difficult and convoluted order. Thank you so much and I hope you guys have a good boogy behind the bar.

Mix-tape on Tuesday is brilliant. Drinks are super cheap and great quality. Brilliant range of music, from indie rock to pop all the way to dance music. The crowd they get in there are friendly and we rarely see any trouble at all. One or two of The bouncers are the only thing that can let the place down as they go looking for trouble for something to do I think and can be rough handed when doing so but I think that's just your typical a bouncer. Staff are great and always serve you quickly and friendly even when it's busy. Would highly recommend 👌

My daughter booked this for my birthday with friends. It was one of the best nights ever we really didn't bother with the food because none of us can do both. The cocktails were first class so was the service the young girl was brilliant at her job and a credit to your company

So looked on line and found the town house was open until 2 to turn up in a taxi to be told it’s students only, im a student but my husband isn’t I find the opening times very mis leading and won’t return should be ashamed of your selfs as a business

Need to sort out 'student night' thing got turned away because had no student id yet i texted mates and they were in without student id lost 3 paying customers who were willing to buy alot of drink ur loss idoits !!!!

Worst pub ever I found in middlesbrough which showed how to determine of race directly... I won't suggest anyone going for this place ever again if you ever wish to go there then after few minutes you will be thrown away I can guarantee you that. If there was zero star's I would I have given that for this place
