Great location, next to Great Cafe and an IGA. Pub within walking distance. Beach access is a 12 minute, pleasant walk from behind the cabins and under the train tracks through a small tunnel. From here you follow the grass past the tennis courts and your there. In regards to the Caravan park, I’d have to say that it’s good if you are not after much and want to avoid the crowds.. As no one really stays here.. The amenities are average, the showers— Just ok. The toilets “males” stink. The clothes line is over the Sewerage tanks. 🙈 Camp kitchen is ok and has most things available to cook, other than a broken Microwave. The owners or Managers are off site operators, so you won’t find anyone around the place. I feel that the prices should be a little cheaper as it’s really a bare bones offering. The park has MASSIVE potential for a good operator. I’d be interested myself to be honest as it’s just a great location. I doubt I’d stay again.

Poor communication. Operators prefer contact to be via email rather than phone or face to face. Office is rarely open. Well located within walking distance to hotel and beach with general store next door. Has great potential but unfortunately we can not recommend and will not be going back.

Discrimination at its finest. Wanted a couple of nights get away with hubby and daughter who is 16. As 16yr olds do she didnt just want to go with mum and dad and wanted to take a friend or 2 to spend a couple of days at the beach in the sun. Was told that we are not welcome.

Lovely Park with waterfront camp sites, dog friendly, go carts, big play area for kids...overall a nice and clean park.

Camp sites are brilliant! Large, level, and grassed. Toilet block is dated and worn, could do with a revamp, but perfectly functional. Not much for kids apart from a basic swing and homemade cubby house. We liked it because it's quiet.

Took an unpowered site for one night. Good service, good amenities. Reasonable price. Could do with an upgrade. Shower block and camp kitchen pretty dated and basic.

Amazing experience. Stayed with my 5 friends and we were very happy sharing a single cabin. It meet all our individual needs and we felt at home with the beach, pub, surf shop all at throwing distance.

Terrible service! Will never go here again. Utilities are disgusting and kitchen is unusable. They don't give back refunds either! Its a shame with the spot it is in, hopefully it becomes bought by someone who has a passion for their job. I can't see this caravan park staying open for much longer...

Booked in for 2 nights was told a price, then was told to pay more. Bathrooms discussing, fridge half broken, grounds filled with liter. Could be a great if was cleaner. Especially for that price.

Really appreciate the holiday save after being denied entry to Port Elliot big 4 because we had the audacity to bring a Labrador. Parks well kept and quiet. They are actually pet friendly. Middleton may be our new southern option.

Stayed a fortnight at this park. Reasonably priced. Fairly good amenities and definitely clean.

Quiet and peaceful caravan park, except for when the Steamranger goes past, which I always enjoy. We have been going there for years and will keep going back for the forseeable future.
