I stayed at Koggala Beach Hotel in August 2022, and I have to say that my experience was quite disappointing. While there were a few positive aspects, the negatives outweighed them significantly. One of the main attractions of the hotel was the beautiful and clean beach. The picturesque setting added a touch of tranquility to the stay, which was quite appealing. However, this alone couldn't compensate for the numerous drawbacks I encountered. Firstly, I found that the hotel did not meet the level of service one would expect from a three-star establishment. The food was a major letdown, with limited options and a lack of taste. The fact that only à la carte menus were provided for certain meals was quite inconvenient. The overall dining experience was underwhelming and did not meet my expectations. Another disappointment was the poor and rude service from the staff. Their behavior was unprofessional and lacked the warmth and hospitality one would anticipate from a hotel of this caliber. Their attitude negatively impacted my overall stay, making it an unpleasant experience. Furthermore, the amenities at Koggala Beach Hotel were noticeably outdated and appeared to have not been replaced or renovated for quite some time. This lack of upkeep gave a sense of neglect and further contributed to the overall dissatisfaction with the hotel. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Koggala Beach Hotel. The overall experience was subpar, and the value for money, particularly with the full board and half board packages, was simply not worth it. Considering the cons mentioned, I would advise looking for alternative accommodations in the area for a more enjoyable and fulfilling stay.

Large room with king size bed, large bathroom with bath and seperate shower. Floor to ceiling windows .poking out onto the beach and sea - awesome view.Back door to patio and sun loungers and 20 yards to the beach. Pool nearby. Meals in the adjacent hotel just a short walk away and food was excellent and plentiful.

I would not recommend a hotel room at all. The hotel is completely dilapidated, unmaintained, dirty. Immediately after arriving in the room found a cockroach in the bathroom, later in the room!! The air conditioner does not work due to wear and tear, it is dirty, the balcony is full of bird droppings, the shower cabin in the bathroom is neglected so that the tiles can hardly be seen, the kettle in the toilet does not work, the drain in the funnel in the bathroom is blocked. I don't even know what to say that is normal. When we called the air conditioner repairman, he laughed and said it was working. We left the hotel after the first night. Communication with Receptionists, unacceptable. Full of derision and completely unresponsive to our comments. The roof of the hotel is crumbling at all ends. Really bad condition.

Sea view rooms with direct access to nice and clean southern coast. The view is superb. Rooms are clean. The food was not as good as expected. Recommend to others.

Iam not satisfied this hotel.there not provide ouvr dinner . They not announce buffet closed time. They had been closed buffet close in early .. i am vwry disguisting there service . Any one does not recommendation this hotel. There prctice very bad habit . There not sutible in modern hospitality management . There live in hunderd yerars ago life...

The staff does not care about the customers. Service delivery is unsatisfactory. Food and drinks or services are not provided for the amount paid.This hotel is not suitable for vacation. No service or facility is provided during room reservation.

Very poor room service. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Room quality is poor. The food isn't satisfying. Also there is power cut time to time.

The hotel was really good. In spite of the low guests, the staff was extra attentive to us. The food was amazing!!
