This hotel is situated near the coast of beruwela and with a nice view. The rooms were good and was well cleaned. The buffet used to had a lot of options and had different stations as well. If you're into seafood you've got a lot of options to go for. There are gym facilities and a spacious pool where you can enjoy your stay. The staff was friendly and we had a great time at this place.

A large scale hotel right in front of the beach with large size pool from superior rooms to suite rooms. Delicious buffet with many varieties of foods. I have stayed in many hotels but the foods were superb here. The beach was awesome and superb because their was no deep in the beach for more than 10m long. No stones inside the water so children’s can enjoy the beach. But i experienced some bad things- No buffet time and telephone numbers mentioned in the room the front office staff shows a small note books where all the things mentioned where we can take a photo memorize it..we booked the hotel online for 5rooms but after going to the hotel they gave forms to fill for each everyones details. I think they have to develop the room reservations for a extraordinary level to minimize the delay after arriving to the hotel. But their are missing things in the application so we had to add some more information again after they went through it. Their was a lady in the front office like rude where no smile even when speaking to the guests. The restaurant staff was very friendly and kind and helpful to the guests in the restaurant. Don’t book superior rooms near the restaurant like room no. 101-106 because its noisy when buffet time starts. Kids pool was a play-full space but it was situated inside hotel near the restaurant. Restaurant is not air conditioned or no fans so its hot to stay inside have food

We stayed at cinnamon bey for two nights, I would say its one of the few Hotels in Beruwala which fulfills the 5 star category. The food was very delicious, and all 3 meals had a lot of variety in the buffet. I appreciate the restaurant Manager Ms.Nirusha, she helped us a lot with all our request during the stay. All other staffs were very professional and helpful too. Pool and beach are good, pool at the deluxe wing is a bit private and less crowded, which was a plus. Rooms need to be refurbished soon, yet they're very clean and well maintained, but a bit old when compared to other hotels. Overall, we had an awesome time. will visit again soon.

Great food and amenities. Rooms were spacious, clean and had great view. Beach was accessible and clean. It looked safe and there was no troublesome salesman pestering much. There were independently operated boat rides to a nearby island. I wasn’t very interested but seemed like a good deal for a couple hundred dollars.

Just brilliant and beautiful! Without doubt one of the favourite hotels we stayed.Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and General manager. The room was amazing as it is very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. The biggest highlight is fantastic view from the room. You can sit at the balcony and listen to the sound of the sea as beautifully located in the Golden Mile. Very friendly and helpful staff provided great service. The bonus is extremely patient and excellent hospitality shown by the restaurant with big variety of delicious foods. Enjoyed infinity pool.

We spent a great and relaxed time at the hotel where everything was perfect and on point. We accomodated in a Deluxe room which was pleasing our mind to stay all long. Very attractive, hygiene and super comfortable. Buffets consist with a vast variety of yummy and delicious food and beverages followed with several cusines. Hotel consists with two pools and maintained under an excellent condition. Last but not least, behind all these memorable hard work the staff needed to be appreciated as the best staff with great hospitality. As we observed the most powerful tool of Bey is its on point attentive friendly staff. We need to admire Nipun Thilakarathne who gave his best to us at our stay. He and his team with Thamali and Trevin gave us their maximum support to get connected preciously with the hotel within our stay. Special thanks to Bandula Kumara and Nirusha Kaluthanthiree at restuarant & bar who always visited our table to get feedbacks and to share thoughts besides their busy schedules. As a five star hotel, Cinnamon Bey is one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka to be experienced with. Welcome all to this lovely place..

A well spent weekend celebrating our anniversary. High quality food and friendly staff. Clean rooms with amenities. Hair dryer was supplied within 5 minutes on request. From the receptionist to pool boy the staff was very friendly and helpful. Specially thankful for the yummy complementary anniversary cake which was served at the dinner table with a very short notice on arrival. All 3 meals were different from one to another with a good variety (buffet) and was delicious too. Beach is safe to children and easy to access. Also boat rides available which is not managed by the hotel. Can recommend for another visit.

A hotel with a Scenic view of the Indian ocean with friendly staff and great staff. all of them were so friendly and helpful throughout the stay with a pleasant smell, buffet got so much variations with great taste. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cinnamon Bey Beruwala and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The hotel was amazing in every aspect, from the delicious food to the friendly staff, clean rooms and live music every evening. The food at the hotel was simply outstanding! They had a wide variety of cuisines to choose from, ranging from traditional Sri Lankan dishes to international favorites. The quality of the food was excellent and the presentation was top-notch. The staff at the hotel were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were always available to assist us with anything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Their hospitality was truly exceptional and made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities. The beds were comfortable and we had a great night's sleep every night. Thank you!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Budget friendly. The hospitality was wonderful. The food was delicious. The spread of the buffet was amazing. Hotel interior was just as if we are in a ship. It was very beautiful. The pool was very big and beautiful. Rooms are spacious and balcony has a pretty view to the sea. Overall great experience and would highly recommend this hotel. Great venue & hotel for a getaway.! We have just spent 2 nights with friends and can highly recommend this hotel. Above all we greatly appreciate the service from all staff. Chatura was a delight to deal with and represented the approach by the rest of the team. Family. We had a lovely stay at Cinnamon Bey last week. The staff was very friendly and attended to all our needs. Loved the pool. Spectacular views. Even though, it was a weekday with less people the food was excellent ! They had buffet with an amazing spread. It was really delicious too. The mutton curry and butter chicken was exceptional. Loved the Indian corner! Chef Khan and Mr. Bandula served us really well. Indeed, we felt like home. Things to improve- Property needs to be maintained. Rooms lack some of the basic items like hair dryer, iron and dental kits (TV was broken too).

Nice welcome & very friendly staff. We went there on a weekday, so it was very less crowded. From the main road, you have to go bit inside to find the hotel, so have a bird eye look at the google map before you start going in. The hotel is so specious & it gives a wonderful vibe which I love the most. There's a fountain & an open area in the middle which helps that wonderful feeling I guess. As we travelled on a weekday there was very less crowd as well. The meals were a mini-buffet as it's less crowd, but what ever available was very tasty. I'd suggest more meat items for dinner, but other than that it was all good. The rooms were fine & comfortable. It was good service from the staff as well. I'd say it's a great experience & definitely would visit again.

Stayed 3 nights , it was an excellent stay, Well cleaned and comfortable rooms, Kind And very quick service. Everyone there was very kind and served us very well. Very good for a holiday stay. Views from the rooms and from anywhere were great. Swimming pools were very clean and Maintained. Good and very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel and would like to appreciate the Friendly and Efficient staffs from Front Desk to Room Services!! The response time of Room service was excellent!! The amnesties in the Hotel also made us much Relaxed and enjoy the stay it addressed the Total need of a family stay with multiple options from the Kiddies pool , beaches to the green pasture lawns to run around… However the food served certainly have room to improve. Recommend for a 2 day stay..

I stayed for 3 days along with my friends. Rooms are pretty decent and the balcony view was just mind blowing. The cleaning staffs were very polite and helping. The place has an opening to the beach and has a grand swimming cum buffet area. I really liked the entire set up.

I stayed here for two weeks in May 2021. Due to Covid the hotel was not crowded. Good facilities but the rooms and corridors need some uplifting. Very friendly staff and decent selections of menu in restaurant and cater for your own tastes or needs. Has a large garden and easy private access to the beach. Two swimming pools.They also made and gifted a chocolate cake for my departure. See photo.

Nice place and food was excellent. Staff were amazing, specially the chef who was in charge on desserts section on 6th July dinner . She went above and beyond to get some food I have requested - amazing Staff. But when we go out of the hotel to enjoy the beach, there are people who do not allow you to enjoy. They constantly push you to get their service. Avoid talking to them.

Significantly improved since our last visit here. The hotel appears to have been spruced up to good effect. The pool is excellent, food is not bad at all but nothing to write home about. But definitely no complaints on variety. Taste was OK for the most part. Service was very nice. Especially we were served by Sasindu Nimesh at lunch, who was very attentive and pleasant and was a great server all around

The rooms themselves were spacious, clean, and tastefully appointed, albeit without a bathtub in the bathrooms. One notable feature was the hotel's kids club, complete with toys and a small play area, providing a pleasant space for children to enjoy. Additionally, the hotel boasted a couple of inviting pools. However, the true standout aspect of our stay was undoubtedly the food. The wide array of culinary offerings was nothing short of amazing, and it delighted not only us but also the kids who couldn't get enough of it. The service we received was exceptional, with the staff exhibiting a friendly demeanor throughout our stay. In fact, they went above and beyond by surprising my daughter with a birthday cake when they discovered it was her special day. In terms of nearby attractions, the area around Beruwela didn't offer many touristy activities apart from the local fishermen often approaching visitors for boat rides to see the lighthouse. Overall, despite its age, the well-maintained hotel provided comfortable and clean rooms, excellent dining options, and attentive service. While the beach's popularity led to crowded conditions, it offered a beautiful setting with a vibrant coral reef. Those seeking a relaxed getaway with a touch of nostalgia will find this hotel to be a charming choice.

We stayed with family and friends. Very clean, tidy and comfortable rooms. Special thanks to Mr. Nalaka who provided a great room service. We enjoyed the international buffet that was filled with different cousins. The buffet is bigger compared to other 5 star hotels we stayed. The food was delicious and the staff also friendly and helpful.

It was great experience. Good location. The private beach makes it easier to relax and have your private time. Too many options for breakfast and dinner. Specific mention to Vihan, who’s been a great help in area arranging things for us on time. Will totally recommend it.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We got an upgrade to the deluxe room, which is in a different section and with a private pool. It surprised us pleasantly. It was a big room, spacious and with a balcony facing the sea. They have a big pool. The food was nice. The spread of the buffet was great. The all day menu could have more options. The breakfast was yum. It has international as well as local breakfast options which was delicious. The hygiene of the hotel was good. We had a great stay.

We stayed there for two days and the overall experience is excellent. The staff was friendly and flexible on their service rendered throughout our stay. In my opinion this hotel is mostly suitable for any person who would like to feel the true natural experience of Sri Lanka. Specially the marvellous golden beach.🌊

Food was delicious and all three meals were buffet with a great variety. Many action stations available for all meals buffet and the staff was helpful and friendly. We went for a dine-in on our anniversary. Very hospitable and pleasant staff.we were welcome warmly. Buffet was delicious and so many varieties were to select. We didn't mention about anniversary but they got a hint while talking to us. Then they surprise us with a beautiful cake which was really nice gesture.thank you for you concern and hospitality.

This is a great hotel & I am happy that we've found it, we are often in that area so we will stay again for sure in the future. Prices are great, the hotel & rooms are spotlessly clean. The staff were all extremely welcoming & helpful throughout our stay. Special mention should be made of Miss wathsala, she was very kind and took care of us during the check in and check out, and she quickly found out about the additional things we needed for the room. I had a wonderful experience at the Cinnamon bey . Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Super awesome stay (22 - 25 Oct 21) Had an awesome time with my wife in the weekend. Super tasty food with lots of varieties. Supportive hotel staff with good managers. We used the gym, play area and pool, all areas are well cleaned including the rooms. We really enjoyed our stay and special thanks to Nirusha and the staff.

I went there before covid and we were regular visitors. Unfortunately my last stay with family was distracted by the ill behavior of one of the pool attendants. Then the cook at the restaurant didn’t serve pasta for my child which I ordered but he offered it to a foreign child.very annoying and manager wasn’t found. Before that the staff was really good. Hosted nicely. I don’t know the exact situation now as I found a better place.

Stayed for 15days quarantine package. Excellent location and great staff. Reception under Heshani is commendable, looking into every need of the guest. The food section was also great. It was a very comfortable experience We stayed in cinnamon bey for our 15 days quarantine (in transit to saudi arabia with my family) Beautiful hotel right in front of the beach. The food was really amazing. The staff were friendly, really admire their efforts to bring the customer safety and the expectations to a higher level even during the pandemic. Special thanks Miss Nirusha, Miss Heshani Mr. Amila, Mr. prasad & the whole restaurant staffs for their excellent service. Had a great time throughout the stay. I am staying here for last two weeks Rooms are spacious, excellent housekeeping, neet and tidy,beautiful open area and swimming pools. Super buffet. I suggested for a pork item in the buffet and the very next day they included it. It was yammy. I appreciate the hospitality of the staff.

Cinnamon Bey Beruwala is a unique beautiful hotel right in front of the beach. It's designed to make you feel like you're immersed in nature even though you're in a luxury hotel. The hotel a clean and the staff are delightful. They are very attentive and made me feel well taken care of. Yoshina was incredibly sweet to talk to and Prasad and his team made sure that every meal was exquisite. Thank you so much for taking good care of me and my brother!

Nice atmosphere to spend your vacation. Excellent food & great variety of spread to choose in the buffet. Very cordial and friendly staff. Ample space in the garden, well maintained & ideal for kids to play. Nice beach front for a sea bath which is covered by a reef. Great place.

Absolutely excellent. Food is heavenly. No other hotel I've been to delivers such a wide range of actually tasty food. Service is amazing...staff is so sincere and concerned about customers. Rooms are clean and well made...very calm environment. Where is the 10 star button :)

Was a really nice experience staying there. They had a big pool, a massive buffet full of Sri Lankan, Japanese, India etc food. Tried out new food as well. It is located near the Bavarian reef. There is an island nearby and can visit this by a nearly 15minute boat ride I guess. There you will be able to see the Beruwala lighthouse. The rooms were big enough, clean,nice.The staff was nice and friendly. I think the management can go for some minor renovation projects. Overall it was an amazing stay. Really loved it. This is a place i would recommend if someone is visiting Beruwala.

Food is very good. Nice and a very calming surrounding. Specially the pool area. But room interiors need to be upgraded and modernized. Anyway rooms were comfortable

Excellent place, located in a beautiful beach front. Great service, good accommodation and a very good spot to take some time off and chill with your family, friends and colleagues. They have a wonderful spacious pool too.

We stayed at this resort for two nights three days. The hotel location is great, food was delicious, and view was wonderful. Few things were bad, staff needs to be more friendly and at least welcoming and smiling. Room interior needs upgrades. Having few cats 🐈 chilling around resturant during buffet was so much annoying specially one of cats jumped in our dinner plate to share 🙄. I love cats and animals but not in restaurant under my table.

Love the experience, the place and customer service. Room has a Turkish touch to it. If u like privacy- room 608 is the best pad. Thanks to Patham who serviced our room. He left us with big bottles of water, which we are so grateful for as we drink a lot of water and we don't need to keep calling them for refill. Prashant, the F&B manager is so helpful and friendly too. Will definitely go back again! You shouldn't miss the beach.. though the people who offers boat rides are annoying. They keep approaching guests and offering their services. Some like us, would just want to have a walk, and enjoy the view. Food is also great.. decent selection..

I and my wife stayed at this resort for a day on our trip to Sri Lanka. The resort was superb with having very good staff. The food here was amazing with having a lot of vegetarian options (A special mention to their cheese tortilla. That tasted delicious). The rooms too were very good. They have access to the beach too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

I came here with my friends.. Nice location with a beautiful beach and comfortable facilities... comfortable rooms are very calm and quiet. Staff is very friendly and very satisfied with the hospitality and the service. Large and safe swimming pool and the surrounding very attractive... We got quality and tasty meals from the buffet full of varieties along with a superb service.. I hope to come again with the family that they also can have a great time here.. Enjoyed an overnight stay. Had a great experience swimming in the beach and pool. The customer service was great with a personal touch. The food was good. Had. Relaxing a stay with beach chairs located everywhere. Can go for walks on the hotel grounds and on the beach. Would highly recommend a stay in this hidden paradise of Sri Lanka.

The staff people are so kind, welcoming, and helpful! The food is amazing. Live music, handicrafts, and beautiful art for sale in the evenings. It's a posh place so not quite what my adventurous family is typically looking for, but an overall good experience. I gave four stars for location only because we did not love the artificial reef, which turns the shoreline into a calm bathtub. But this is probably great for those who don't know how to swim.

Great ambience ! Friendly staff. Wide choice of tasty buffet items. With spacious, comfy air conditioned rooms, large pool and easy access to the Ocean there's plenty to do as well as to chill and relax. Definitely great place to stay !

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at, and I have stayed at many. If you would like to have sleepless nights then this is the perfect hotel. I stayed 6 nights with them and it was an utter waste of money. From the first night it was loud music and the bass was thumping in my room. I called the duty manager but even with the bass turned down I could hear and feel it till 11pm at night, causing my child to not be able to sleep. Also there is a hotel right next to it that is playing LOUD music every night till 12am. I called the front desk about it and they said they cannot do anything about it. It is like a concert in your room except that you just want to sleep. For the price they are charging I am utterly disappointed with the service in this respect. How they could consider this a family resort is beyond my comprehension. My vacation was severely disturbed by the ineptness of this hotel. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, 3 star would be pretty generous.
