I can totally recommend. Service is nice and Roti delicious. We order food for 3 people and everyone was happy with their choices. For sure try peanut butter milkshake, it was amazingly tasty. Prices are low.

Went in with high expectations and was not disappointed. This is a really cozy and popular restaurant which seems like it was a bungalow turned into a dining place. Deviled Chicken had a delicious gravy. The chicken was a bit dry though - overcooked. Kothu Roti was one of the best I’ve had so far. Spicy and comes with curry and dal on the side. As a dessert, the Banoffie (which is banana, chocolate and cookie crumbles) Roti with Icecream is a must have. Overall an excellent meal.

No. 1 Dewmini Roti Shop in Mirissa has been highly praised for its delicious and authentic Sri Lankan rotis. The variety of fillings and flavors are a treat for the taste buds, and the friendly staff create a pleasant dining experience. If you’re a fan of Sri Lankan cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit. I did not liked the milk tea though

A must for anyone looking to try gorgeous local food! Went with the Kottu and wasn't disappointed. On a side note it's an amazing family owned restaurant with a great story of perseverance. Located of the main road it was well worth the short trip up!

We came here to try the roti - which are really good - and then we found out that the owner also offers a cooking class. We spontaneously booked the class and it was totally worth it! We cooked five different curries, one sambol and one chutney. All of them very tasty! The owner made sure that we are part of the cooking process and we also got a little recipe book - the holy grail of curry. :) We can highly recommend this place to try the roti and also for the cooking class!

My husband and I went here twice. We read the story about how this shop came to be and had a good feeling about it. We tried both their savoury and sweet rotis and they exceeded our expectations! Prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food and service are excellent. I had the avocado, tomato and cheese roti the first time and banana, egg and peanut butter the second time. Both tasted fresh and delicious. The food is made quickly and the staff are happy to serve you! You can customize toppings which is a lot of fun and gives everyone something to choose from. I also recommend their americanos and chocolate milkshake! This place is special and definitely a spot you will want to return to again and again.

We ate here twice and loved it so much we decided to do the cooking class. This turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka and one of the best cooking classes we've taken anywhere in the world (we've done several). Everything is super well organised and the owner is an extremely good teacher. We learned so much and can't wait to recreate these dishes at home. Thank you!!

We ordered the prawn rice and curry for 2 people. We eat extremely spicy so made sure to ask for extra spicy. The bowl had a total of 5 prawns and no chili in sight. The taste was just bland. This place caters to western tourists, if you're looking for traditional food go somewhere else.

Best Roti and Kottu in town! We have been there several times and it was always super yummy. We can definitely recommend that place.

We tried the avocado, tomato & cheese roti + banana chocolate roti with ice cream + juice. It was really nice and filling. Recommend it! Specially the sweet roti with ice cream.

OMG! I would day for their peanut butter milkshake ❤️ i order it 3 times during my stay in Merrisa. I also had Bannoffie with ice cream - watch out because it's huge and very sweet! You can have it all as a breakfast or full lunch! It's delicious 🤤

This is a great restaurant if you like roti / kottu. We loved the savoury kottu with veggies and veggies / chicken; the sea food one had too much fish for us, making it a bit dry (but it’s a question of preference). Their sweet roti are super tasty, especially if you add coconut, and their peanut butter milkshake are to die for. The owner and waiters are super nice. They also do delivery !!

Delicious food and very friendly stuff. Great choice of roti for reasonable price. We tried chicken, as well as seafood roti and for dessert we took bannoffee (chocolate, cookies, bananas & vanilla ice cream) which was definitely the highlight of this lunch!

Very tasty food for a good price, I had the egg and vegetable kottu with avocado and the chocolate roti for dessert. The atmosphere of the place is lively, hectic but super fun!

The best food in Mirissa hands down! We've stayed for 5 nights and eaten here so many times. The price is super affordable with huge portions and delicious fresh food. The team are all super friendly and we really love it. Best devilled chicken in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

Good roti, large portion with variety of different savoury and sweet options. Seems popular with tourists, too. They also served kottus, curries and have a breakfast menu

Got a recommendation to try this place, as it claims to have the best roti in Sri Lanka. So naturally, on my 1st day in Sri Lanka, I had to try and set the bar high for others to come. Egg+prawn roti was delicious! It was so good I was wondering if I had to order another one, just because I didn't want it to be gone. I like they weren't overstuffed but full enough. The plain one was great too! You get some spicy, pickled onions on the side, same with a chickpea curry and a broth. Banana juice and watermelon juice were amazing, nice and fresh. The staff was very friendly, owner was going around to every table to check in, dining area was nice and cosy. Will definitely go back for more roti and maybe the fried rice, which looked banging too!

We called in for a simple Roti and was overwhelmed by the service and quality of food. We then discovered they offered cooking classes, which we did. Very professional class, note taking and hands-on lesson. We made six different types of curry and tried our best to eat it all. Amazing experience and great value for money!

Cozy little restaurant - the staff were very kind. The rotis were fantastic. We each had two - one savory and one sweet. All four of them were fantastic! 😍 In the photos: - cheese and vegetable roti - chocolate mango and ice cream roti

Unfortunately we found this place just on our last day in Mirissa. I had the best fried rice here. The roti is a bomb, by meaning is amazing!!

This place is amazing. We had there two breakfasts and one dinner. The best vegeterian, mashroom and cheese roti we had in Sri Lanka. Deliscious dhal - the best I have ever eaten. Fantastic avocado. Nice people, the place is bit far from the main road so it was quiet - not often situation in Sri Lanka. We have been accompanied by dog, cat and monkeys :) beautiful presentation for meals. And really good with taste comparing to the prices (black coffee 130 LKR, veg roti 150 LKR, avocado & cheese roti 400-450 LKR). Good option for vegans and vegetarians. Highly recommended!

To be honest, my expectations about the food due to the good reviews were higher than the food that we got. I ordered a roti with cheese and chicken, and I am still looking for the cheese as the quantity was mínimal and the chicken was replaced by prawns without informing me. It is possible that they have a bad day as the country is facing issues with the electricity supply but at least I would have liked that they have informed me about the replacing of the chicken by the prawns. The devilled prawns that we ordered to be shared were good.

Rotis are good but not too many stuff inside. We asked for some prawns like starter and I miss more prawns on the plate. Nevertheless I recommend this place to eat. Passion fruit juice is great!
