Mmmhmmm! If you love pork, you'll love this restaurant. Lots of menu options, try to look it over before going in. Ample seating available. Pricier, but good portions.

DEFINITELY NEED TO STOP HERE when heading in or out of Chicago! We wanted a fun atmosphere with good food after spending most of the day in a discouraging meeting about a diagnosis of a family member at UChicago Medical. Hog Wild did the trick! It is only 20-30 minutes from UChicago and right off the interstate 57. It’s a very fun place and plenty of selfie photo ops throughout the restaurant. We arrived at 3:00pm & there was no line, service was fast & the food was hot, fresh and delicious!! We highly recommend the pork chop, pulled pork & portobello mushrooms. Food portions are huge so splitting a meal or taking home leftovers makes the price quite affordable. Excellent place!!!! We will definitely be back on our way to and from Chicago during our many trips to UChicago for treatments in the coming months.

The best pork chop I ever had in my life. I ordered my food to go but it smelled so good I ate it right there in the parking lot. The taste lingered in my mouth for weeks. Please open a location in Northwest Indiana. Not only was the food good the staff was amazing. I’ll give 10 stars if I could

Absolutely great place to take the family, date or just pick up/dine in by ur self. First of all the dining area is absolutely charming and wonderful to eat in. TVs everywhere for those sports fans and so much decor to entertain the kids showing or playing eye spy to! And the food!!! Marvelous!! Always always get the pork chop combo with shrimp and extra Brussels sprouts! Everything is to die for but the Brussels are AWESOME! And tried a hot link and homemade for sure! That’s what u call a link! Needless to say will be returning to get a salad. Seen a gentlemen get that at the table over and it looked fresh tasty and filling! Thank you HogWild crew, from the chefs, gals at register to the servers and the cleanup crew! Always smiling pleasant and on point! Customer service is always off the chain like the food! One of the best restaurants to visit in the south suburbs. I enjoy Hog Wild every time I visit, whether it's picking up food to go or dining in. The owners, and the staff are very friendly. You are always greeted with a smile, or a nice welcome. If you enjoy great food, and a very friendly family style restaurant, this is the place for you. You get large portions, and very tasty food. Went there for my birthday. Ordered the pork chop dinner my husband ordered the rib tip dinner my son ordered the combination platter and my daughter-in-law ordered the ribeye sandwich and my granddaughter ordered just side order of macaroni and cheese everything was delicious service was quick.

It was our first time here at Hog Wild and since I am a vegetarian, I know this is not the place for me but I still wanted to give it a try. I know it is all about the pulled pork, BBQ meat but I wanted to check the place out for the ambiance and I'm glad I did. You order your food at the register and then they'll give you a number and they bring the food out to your table which was pretty easy. I ordered the portabella Mushroom sandwich, my hubby ordered the shrimp dinner and my little guy got the cheese hot dog and it was all pretty darn good. If you're someone who loves BBQ and meat, this place is definitely for you!

Quick service, we just ordered and as soon as we got to our table food was already there ready. Food was great, loved the toasted garlic bread and the coleslaw. Nice place but dining area was too dark.

Love the food and the atmosphere. We ordered and the food was at the table before we reached the table. You order at the counter when you walk in then they bring it to your table. Similar to fast food with a sit in family dining atmosphere. The Hog Wild mild sauce is tasty. I normally buy a bottle for home. The dining area has plenty of televisions, wood cabin like tables and chairs, huge fish tanks, and a 5 slot machine area for those who want to gamble and dine. This trip my husband and I split a full rack of ribs. It came with choice of potato which we always choose the red potatoes that are soaked and dripping in butter 🧈 😋. Along with one side (baked beans), 1/2 corn on cob, small corn bread muffin (well my husband said it was small, I didn't get a chance to see it because he ate it fast), and garlic toast. Their ribs are a nice size. The meat typically falls off the bones. Sharing the full saves money and we both are full. I added an extra red potatoes side, a macaroni and cheese side dish, and Cole slaw. My husband ordered a pop and I requested water. The bill was still $47 which is much higher than fast food prices. We typically eat here once every 3 to 4 months. Never a bad meal or item or atmosphere! It's worth the trip!

Tacky place but good food. Too much cheesy stuff abounds the interior and exterior here for my tastes. They also seem to hurry everyone along too quick, with either the ordering or delivery of the food. I usually get the chicken sandwich here. Big plump chicken breast on a soft bun and a small styrofoam cup of fries. The sandwich is good and filling. Prices are reasonable. Their bbq sauce is sweet but good. Free refills on soft drinks. Despite the tacky ness I’d probably still return.

Used to give nice amount of,fries now its like they count them. brisket was terrible shaved thin almost looked like beef sandwich. was way better before owner steve passed away. He’s probably turning over at how it run now. The big tell was Saturday night walked right in no one in the place. That should have been a clue to me. Wont be going back anytime soon.

What a great way to refuel after a morning of fishing. Delicious pork chops, BBQ and side dishes not to mention the Friday fish specials. Couldn't imagine needing 2 chops but you can. I strongly recommend that you add a piece of cheesecake or the deluxe muffins to your order for dessert. This is my 3rd time through and never disappointed. Service was prompt and courteous, food was hot fresh and delicious. Can't ask for more.

Great ribs! I should preface this by saying that I am much more of a dry rub, sauce on the side kind of barbecue guy, But my friend really played this place up and this was the 1st time I had been there in the 2 years that I've been coming to this part of Illinois. The inside is dark and has a dive bar feel, which I personally enjoy, though I know it's not for everyone. They really played-up the pork chops and the baby back ribs, so I had both. Pork chop was juicy and tasted as though it was smoked, though they might have thrown it on the grill to mark it up a bit for the meal. Ribs had a nice carmelization on the outside, sauce was sweet but not overly so, Really enjoyed how tender they were without being mushy. The oven browns were basically home fries, but crispier. Coleslaw was fine, a little too much dressing for my taste but not wilted or chewy. Cornbread was a nice touch. I barely finished the meal, the portion was huge and very satisfying. Wish I had heard of this place sooner. Next time I will try their approach to brisket, I'm told it's equally good. Good find in the middle of a neighborhood, it was only after that I learned that this place has been featured on all kinds of television shows and "best of" lists. Great experience overall. 👌

Great food…. Had ribs, brisket, chicken.. everything was good. Line moved fast, found a seat and enjoyed our meal. Staff is very attentive and very nice. Welcome to pork chop heaven!

Very generous portions, very clean inside dining room along with bathroom. Judging from the wall art, they donate to multiple kids sport organizations, community outreach in evident. Very organized with ordering and delivering food, assigning tables. Definately be back to this place.

This place is great. The people are very friendly and helpful. The prices are about what you would expect to pay. The food is really good and the portions are big enough to save some for later. We really enjoyed eating here and plan to go back very soon. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

This was my first time here. Very clean place, very friendly staff. Very good food. Party of 9. I had the 1/2 slab of ribs fall off the bone, and I will be back. Prices are very fair.

The service was awesome. I ordered my food and within 2 minutes it was at the table. The sitting area was nicely spaced out. The ribs were fall off the bone goodness and the bbq sauce was delicious. I would recommend to anyone that's loved down home bbq

This is a great barbecue place that has been a staple in the community for many years. They offer a large menu of freshly prepared food, sides, and desserts. They are known for their pork chops, but everything on the menu is delicious. They're food does not come lathered in sauce, allowing you to decide how much or how little you want. It's a wonderful place to eat.

The 2 pork chop dinners were outstanding. Sides of red potatoes, green beans and baked beans. Called ahead but had to wait in line to pay and still had to wait for my order. People in line with me and that had not called ahead got their food before me. Otherwise would have given 5 stars. Carrot cake was okay frosting could have been better.

OKAY! First off, try the pork chop before anything else! It is truly and ridiculously delicious!! 😋 The service is off the charts with the speed from the moment you order till you get your food. My son's and I ordered, paid, and was walking to our seats and they already was bringing us our food. No joke! Second off, why am I mad nobody told me all these years to get this pork chop!!! 😡 SMH seriously every bite is seasoned and tasty.

One of the most original BBQ joints I've been in that have kept it true to the meaning of keeping it original from day 1. I've been eating at this same establishment for 20 years. And they have stayed the same then and now. Always polite always great service. And I dare you to find 5 porkchop bones over 2 inches. You do and you get free porkchop dinner. Good Luck

The atmosphere was very nice. The food was great. I had a steak sandwich, my husband had a pork sandwich. Both where outstanding. They had taco special so we tried one together. That was also phenomenal. The food came out real fast to. Would definitely go again. And highly recommend the place There special sauce was very, very good also. We purchased some to take home. Very good.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food has a variety of great tasty options, but I was disappointed in the mac and cheese. It's not as cheesy, and I didn't care for the pasta they use for it.

First time come here with my husband, it was very unique experience, like a fast food restaurant but they bring out the food to your table. We ordered pork chop with fries and coleslaw and 3 steak tacos, we’re really like it and fill us up, perfect portion and the pork chop was tender and tasty. We’ll come back again.

This place has a lot of promise, a good atmosphere, and friendly staff. But the food isn’t grilled or seasoned. And the brisket is just roast beef. Normally I’d try a place twice before a review but I can’t see myself returning.
