I won’t tell recommend this store to anyone - we waited for over 20 minutes for someone to assist in the electronics department - walked out very disappointed. Service is pathetic!

Some staff are rude, unhelpful and arrogant. Politely greeted and asked a person in the camera section for help, to which I got a reply: “no stock” (turns head away). After requesting where or how I can get help as the website shows stock “The store doesn’t have stock”. Massmart, listen, I won’t spend my money where workers are unhelpful and have a pathetically bad attitude. Maybe look into who you hire?

The service here is bad! There’s a lot of employees but you will get zero assistance in finding items from the store. This happened more than 3 times! The crazy thing is not that they are busy but they chatting amongst themselves and laughing! The manager/supervisor should do better in terms of managing staff! I always find myself leaving to go buy in boulders because there’s better service there! Mall of Africa Game store has to be the worst in terms of service:

Bought a washing machine 7 days ago and I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. Horrible experience would not recommend. On top of that I was charged a delivery fee (R300) that I wouldn't have been charged if I had bought online. What a waste of my time and money should have just bought online. Hold this 1 star (zero if could).

The store is not bad. Only store thing letting the store down is the staff.

Calling to enquire about a products availability is a nightmare. They connect you to the department that's supposed to assist and the call can go unanswered for almost 5 minutes . It's like calling home affairs 🤦🏾‍♀️

Went into Game Mall of Africa this past weekend with the aim to purchase a few items. Whilst browsing the office furniture section - i came across an office chair and I got the attention of a salesman who duly assisted me. I thanked him and continued shopping. Whilst shopping - I then came across an office desk that i wanted to purchase (i had no intention to purchase a desk when i walked into the store but i liked what i saw and wanted to purchase it). I grabbed the attention of the very same salesperson and informed him that i want to purchase the desk. Said salesman then had the audacity to tell me and my spouse that we should have, "opened our mouths one time and asked for all items!" He then walked away mumbling in a dialect that i did not comprehend. He eventually did return with the item and I thanked him. He point blank just gave me a stare and walked away - again mumbling. This is poor customer service. Treating a customer as if they are a burden is just wrong! I did not want to make a scene and nor did i want to confront him! Game Mall of Africa - your sales staff are just plain rude and condescending, You need to train your staff better. You will not find me purchasing any other items from this specific branch again.

Slowest service. Takes 20 minutes for staff to retrieve anything from the stock at the back. Never coming back

Worst experience from Game Mall of Africa. I purchased a KIC fridge at the end of April 2022. It was delivered with a huge dent at the bottom of the fridge. After numerous calls finally they delivered another fridge which is faulty. The outlet pipe does not drain water but it collects in the vegetable tray as a result the vegetables are getting soggy. Sent emails but no response from any one yet

I am typing this standing on till no. 2 waiting for a supervisor for authorization and it has been more than 20 minutes already. Could this be a result of short stuff or rather its a pathetic service? I am disappointed for the service I received today.. if you ever see me at this store again KILL ME

As per usual, Mall of Africa Game is a terrible experience. This the fourth time where i came in and inquired about an item and nobody knows anything. As usual, there is nobody to assist, yet there are staff walking around, because that is all they do, look at you (when they can see you need assistance) and walk away. When you approach a staff member and ask for assistance, such as a particular item you saw on promo or stock of something, its the usual answer "Eish i dont know" and they casually walk away. Good customer service would, actually first greet you, ask if they can assist and then actual go and find out about the stock because I'm pretty sure a big retail company like Massmart uses a stock system. Rather find what i was looking for somewhere else or purchase online.

Thokozile Shabalala need to be trained for customer services, i dont think she understand how to treat customers. Yesterday my phone was giving error when I was trying to buy an item using Pay Just Now, she told me to go to phone section to seek help and I refuse as I now very well that you can send a customer to seek help, you ask someone to come and assist. After very long argument betwee me and her my phone inventual work, however I had to wait from 19h41 to 20h15 for Pay Just Now confirmation, I wasn't sure if I was punished for standing up for my self or it was a really delay as no one was border to keep on updating me. I had to keep on asking them. Not all customers are difficult, some of us know how to be a cashier however we wont allow cashiers to treat us bad.

Got scammed from the store and no one cared after the incident transpired, the head of security told me that it happens regularly for people to be robbed by people claiming to be working for game but nothing was done with regards to my experience, or at least to save the next victim!

The customer service booking process is inefficient. 30 to 40 minutes to book an item. Device was in warranty and original invoice was available.

Bad swrvice Vincent's Nglodu from sports dept is u professional does know warranty parameters but states a manufacturing defect is not covered by warranty really he is ref to a whats grp for replies then tell me he doesn't know we must come back again Back aftersales service at this store they keep passing the phone to others bec no one wants to take responsibility

This morning @10:15 I asked one of the salesman wearing a white shirt if he knew where the Air Mattress of R399 was and he replied " no I dont know it" and continue chatting on his cellphone without trying to assist me. This was the worst shopping experience at Game Stores Mall Of Africa. Please teach the staff about customer service, im a very unhappy client.

And that is why most of the Game stores are closing down. They are rude over the phone, and they put you on hold for a good few mins until it cuts.

This is 2 stars too many. Tried to buy a treadmill but unfortunately no staff were to be found. Even after paging someone. Game’s revamp is nothing more than lipstick on a pig.

I got assisted and got 101% customer service from one of LG salesperson. The product knowledge that the lady had she knew her story i was educated. Such people deserve recognition. I am a happy customer at the of the day Thank you at Game.

I had a good time at Mall of Africa, the mall is so huge, atmosphere is so perfect and shops and restaurant are designed and placed in a good place. I enjoy doing shopping there, mostly it's safe and beautiful

Maximum 1 or 2 teller's available, you have to wait in the queue. Teller never ask ,that you need a plastic or not.you have to take your stuff with your hands...unless you asked them again and pay seperate.

What struck me is that EVERY BODY is wearing masks and I felt safe. Every one in that mall were safety awared.Thanks. Great shops too. Did shopping at Game. Was very nice.

I visited Game at Mall@Reds yesterday. I was looking for a Ryobi 1200w lawnmower and the store showed 4 unit in stock. There was however no stock and the salesman checked Centurion Mall and then sent me to Menlyn as they had 10 in stock. I met up with a very rude person, think his name was David. Thabo from Home? however helped but could not find stock. This morning I went to Game Boulders and although they didn't have stock the saleslady was friendly and phoned around for stock and sent me to Mall of Africa. I met up with friendly sales people and they convinced Johannes Makhati to discount another Ryobi 1200w lawnmower to R999. Thank you all for your professionalism.

Cheap products are available here. Not a big fan of the staff here. Usually less crowded.

Please do not buy goods online and collect at this particular store, seems like they don't know how to handle online orders. me and my wife had to wait a lifetime before being helped, mind you we received an sms saying that the goods are ready collection.

I bought a Sinotec TV at Game Mall Of Africa, Now it doesn't show pictures only Android then switch off, now I was told the technician is gonna come to my House. I have been waiting and no one is calling me

Terrible experience..bought a washing machine in store on the 21st of november,today is the 26th and i havent recieved my machine and there is no update whatsoever.i dont know how long i have to wait coz i need to do my washing,the whole point i bought the washing machine..i regret buying from this store..Mafou Tsoene was a terrible terrible assistant as well..called the store and i was put on hold until i hung up
