I
recently
had
the
misfortune
of
dining
at
a
fast-food
joint
in
the
Las
Vegas
Airport,
and
I
must
say
it
was
an
experience
I'd
rather
forget.
In
search
of
a
quick
and
satisfying
meal
before
my
flight,
I
ordered
what
should
have
been
a
simple
and
delicious
chicken
sandwich.
However,
what
I
received
can
only
be
described
as
the
worst
chicken
sandwich
of
my
life.
Firstly,
let's
talk
about
the
buns.
They
were
burned
to
a
crisp,
and
I'm
not
exaggerating.
It
was
as
if
someone
had
left
them
on
the
grill
for
far
too
long,
turning
them
into
blackened,
inedible
disks.
Not
only
did
they
look
unappetizing,
but
they
also
tasted
like
carbon.
I
couldn't
believe
they
actually
served
this
to
customers.
The
main
attraction,
the
chicken,
wasn't
any
better.
It
was
overcooked
to
the
point
of
being
dry
and
tough,
with
a
distinctly
burnt
flavor
that
made
every
bite
an
exercise
in
disappointment.
The
texture
was
unpleasant,
and
it
seemed
like
the
kitchen
staff
had
little
regard
for
the
quality
of
the
ingredients
they
were
using.
To
add
insult
to
injury,
the
sandwich
was
accompanied
by
a
wilted
lettuce
leaf
and
a
sad
slice
of
tomato
that
appeared
to
have
seen
better
days.
The
condiments,
if
you
could
call
them
that,
were
applied
haphazardly,
further
contributing
to
the
overall
lackluster
experience.
I
understand
that
fast-food
restaurants
are
not
known
for
gourmet
cuisine,
but
even
by
those
standards,
this
meal
was
unacceptable.
The
prices
at
airports
are
often
inflated,
but
that's
no
excuse
for
serving
food
that's
not
only
subpar
but
also
bordering
on
inedible.
In
conclusion,
I
wouldn't
recommend
this
fast-food
establishment
at
the
Las
Vegas
Airport
to
anyone
looking
for
a
quick
meal
before
their
flight.
The
burned
buns
and
the
carbon-like
taste
of
the
chicken
sandwich
were
a
culinary
disaster,
and
I
can
only
hope
that
my
next
airport
dining
experience
will
be
significantly
better.
