I have never written a review in my life but reviews have always helped me and I want to do my part with making people aware if something is up to par or not. I hate that my very first review has to be a negative one but its the truth. This hotel was horrible. I eventually was upgraded to a suite given cleanliness issues. I ALWAYS check the beds before I stay in a room to ensure everything has met the cleanliness standards. Practically looks like the sheets were NOT CHANGED hair everywhere crumbs in the second room I was Issued to before I went back down to the main lobby again to say this is unacceptable. I was told by the manager the third room which was the suite “would not have hair its a suite” guess you have to buy a suite to ensure you have cleaned sheets at this hotel and a halfway decent room. By that point I just wanted a refund but was upgraded to the suite for free so i gave it a chance. I did not make too much of a big deal because I was just spending the night and catching the flight the next day so I did not argue as long as the third room met my standards to be able to sleep in a clean bed that night. I understand that the hotel has been really busy with high turnover times so housekeeping is trying to rush to get it done as quickly as possible. Given that, more housekeeping needs to be hired and a new cleanliness protocol needs to be put in place. Either way it is unacceptable. If you stay at this hotel or any CHECK THE SHEETS and the area before you stay to make sure its actually clean. If not, do not settle.

Minutes away from the strip. Stores and restaurants surround the hotel. Rooms are nice and clean. We had a good view of the whole inside patio of hotel, we could see all the pools and everything else on their property. All personal that we came in contact with where nice and polite. We'd definitely stay there again. Plus, they're dog friendly at this hotel.

Amazing property! We loved staying here 2 weeks ago. I selected a chamber room with 2 queen beds. They offer free self parking and free valet parking which makes sense because the daily resort fee is hefty. Housekeeping is world class! I booked with a third party app but will definitely book through Hilton to earn points next time. Of the 9 restaurants on-site, we enjoyed 3 dining experiences at Kassi Beach, Olive, & The Kitchen at the Commons Club.

The room was great. Had a great double corner view and worth the money. From our room we got to see the Sphere at all times. Unfortunately there were two towers blocking it making it a partial view. The staff was so awesome from checking in, the cool bar tender in the wee ours of the morning as my fiancé and I bodies were still on East Coast time. The food at the One Steakhouse had one of the best steaks I've ever had. Had the coolest smoothest bar tender on planet earth, and the breakfast nook, The Kitchen at Commons Club was great. Had a simple yet delicious breakfast brisket. Not on the strip but closer to the airport and all cab rides were about $20 everywhere. The few times we couldn't get a cab the valet guys took us and of course we tipped well. For my first ever trip to Vegas I don't care about all the other spots and being on the strip, this place was the best choice. Previously the old Hard Rock Cafe.

We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel!! Every staff member we talked to was kind and helpful. The bellmen and valet folks were quick and helpful, the slot hosts and security we fun, and the waitresses in the casino were quick. We stayed for 3 nights and LOVED our room. It was clean and spacious. The housekeepers were happy to provide us more towels and fresh sheets when we spilled some soda on a bed -- oops! My only complaint is that, like many Vegas hotels, the mini fridge is a mini bar so you cannot put your beverages in there. The casino, hotel, restaurants, and grounds are lovely. It appears everything has been updated and is very modern, bright, and clean. We loved being off the strip -- less of a fuss with parking, etc -- but close enough to catch a short ride over. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and very clean with comfortable beds and linens. The location was perfect, for an off-strip resort--a super quick ride to everything we wanted to visit and an easy drop off/pick up for ride shares. The spa was lovely and the pools were really nice too. We enjoyed the restaurants too. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is nice and clean but I probably wouldn't stay there again. That's only a personal choice. It is very quiet and chill compared to most hotels on the strip but that's one thing I didn't like about it. It didn't give Vegas vibes and nightlife which is why I prefer to stay on the strip. If you like quiet, this is the place for you. We got the rooms at a very good price but there is a $50 resort fee each day but it really doesn't cover much. Maybe parking/valet since that is free for everyone but we didn't have a car. The rooms do not come with a refrigerator which I've seen in most rooms lately. The rooms were really pretty and clean but the towels were hard and thin. There were no drawers to put your clothes in. The bed was hard but I was so tired at night, it didn't matter. I still slept okay. The pool area was nice but busy. There was a more private pool there also for adults only but you couldn't take your own drinks in. Best part about this hotel was the entire staff were really nice and friendly. Customer service was great and that is so hard to find now. The Kitchen was a plus too. The food was really good and service was great.

This hotel is nice for a little off strip stay but I expected better quality for the price. we had a few issues. The mini bar had leftover food that I think was there months because the soda in the mini bar was expired. The mini bar prices are also very high. It was a 6.50 charge for one can of coke, which ended up expired. They gave us a credit but it was still upsetting to drink something expired. It seemed clean in the room otherwise. The other issue is that the AC can never get cool enough. Every day it resets back to 72 so we end up sweating overnight. We also couldn’t do early check in which was a disappointment since our flight arrived around noon. My sister did a suite and it was much better than ours so it seems the focus is on those and the cheaper rooms are less quality. They say it’s a strip view but due to location the view is actually of the pool. Being off strip wasn’t for us, so I think with all these issues we won’t stay here again.

This hotel gave me resort vibes. I really enjoyed it. We ended up paying an extra $70 a night to upgrade to a suite. Suite was pretty big that looked out to the pool. Only complaint about the room was the bathroom walls were dirty and there was a Leftover cigarette under our bed. Service was really nice. Check in took about 10-15 mins. Valet service is by tip and if you're cheap don't tip I guess. The pool party they had at this hotel was so fun. Great music too. Our favorite spot to eat was the Mexican restaurant. Our server was so sweet and the seafood cocktail was amazing. Will be back again

Cozy one night stay at The Virgin. As a Hilton Diamond member, I was upgraded to an Oasis suite at check-in. This updated, 1 bed/1.5 bath suite was uniquely designed with immense space. Bed was supportive and linens were supple. Shower had great pressure with the amenities having a strong floral scent, maybe avoid if you’re sensitive. Great views of the pool and strip skyline were appreciated. Mini bar and snacks at the ready for a high price. Plenty to entertain and enjoy on property while the strip is about a 20min walk. Would return for a longer stay to enjoy more!

This hotel was tremendous! The room's cleanliness was unmatchable. The designs of the rooms was very unique, the features were very modern. The view from the room was incomparable. The customer service was so good and they were so nice. The room also had many great amenities such as, a wireless charger, amazing lights, and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced. The hotel was also placed in a spectacular location right next to the strip. The pool and all of other outside activities were family friendly. That is why this hotel was the best hotel I have ever been to.

My girls and I had such a good experience here. The rooms were so spacious! We're three girls, and were going out for nearly four days straight, so just imagine the amount of things we had and the mess lol! They had very friendly staff. and it's not too far off from the strip. It's quiet, classy and a great size. You won't get lost at all like which was so nice:) Very much more like a laid back resort feel then like a crazy party scene, so we felt safe to even sit outside on the patio at night, or going down by ourselves in the morning to buy coffee. The beach club was amazing! The bartenders were so lovely, not to mention the lifeguards were on it as well as security. Overall the energy was great, good for families and party goers who like to come back to peace and quiet.

I loved this place but it has its downsides. Not the best location. It’s off strip & away from Fremont so a bit of a drive but not too bad! The rooms are PHENOMENAL in my opinion - updated with all the gadgets & tech! Their pool is a beach & I loved it! Not much to do at this resort as it’s smaller and the casino floor is small compared to most others in my opinion. Extremely nice staff and hosts! Just not much to do. Probably wouldn’t stay again but it was worth the experience for their unique pool, clean and updated rooms & top notch service!

I recently stayed at the Virgin Las Vegas Hotel and I must say that my experience has been far from satisfactory. While the hotel itself had some appealing features, I am deeply disappointed with their customer service, particularly in regards to their handling of the deposit refund. Upon check-in, the hotel placed a $100 deposit on my card, which is a common practice. I was assured by the front desk staff that this deposit would be refunded within 24 hours of checkout. However, it has now been three weeks since I checked out and I have yet to receive my deposit refund. I have made several attempts to contact the hotel's customer service through phone calls and emails, but to my dismay, I have not received any response. This lack of communication is extremely frustrating, as I had trusted the hotel's promise of a quick and timely refund. Not only have they failed to honor their commitment, but their negligence in addressing my concerns has left me feeling ignored and undervalued as a guest. It's disheartening to see such a renowned establishment like the Virgin Las Vegas Hotel fall short in delivering on their promises and maintaining a high level of customer service. The unresolved deposit refund issue has cast a shadow over what could have otherwise been a pleasant stay. I believe that a hotel's reputation is not solely built on its physical amenities, but also on its ability to address and resolve customer concerns promptly and efficiently. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Virgin Las Vegas Hotel based on my experience with their poor customer service and failure to fulfill their commitment regarding the deposit refund. I hope that my feedback serves as a reminder for the hotel management to prioritize guest satisfaction and timely communication in order to avoid similar situations in the future.

I am a local and like to gamble. Didn't see value for my money I brought. Drink service was okay, but the cashier's cage employee that I dealt with was completely inadequate. Friendliness of the staff I give one out of a five stars. Cocktail service 3 out of five stars. Yes I will return to this place, however it is definitely not a top priority to visit again. There are many other places in Las Vegas to gamble where the atmosphere is just a bit better. Not too sure about the comp situation because I still have not received any from them. Liked it much better when it was Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

I’m a Hilton gold member and this place did not impress or meet my basic needs. Waiting in line to check in was long, even though I was in the Gold/Diamond Members line. Our room was not as clean (brown water spots on bathroom door, floors were gritty) and pretty basic. The vanity sink didn’t have enough counter space nor were there towel bars or hooks to throw towels on. Hot water turned cold after five minutes. Like what?! So I had to rush and get out before it got way too cold. I was only there for one night, but anything longer I would have asked for another room. They provide food and beverage vouchers at check in, but after receiving my invoice, no voucher was added. I even made sure to ask and showed my promo card/voucher to the waitress at the Kitchen Commons Club before I ate. I called front desk to resolve this but kept getting transferred to Accounting where my call would disconnect. I’ve always enjoyed my Hilton stays but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.

Exceptional service! I haven't been to Vegas since the pandemic and this was a great reintroduction to Vegas. A short distance from the hustle and bustle of the strip but still very accessible. The rooms are great. The hotel is clean. The staff at every step of the way was so exceptionally helpful and kind. Even the housekeeping staff helped me find my room when I was lost and walked my to my room (no, I wasn't drunk lol). Really a great hotel, I'd definitely come back!

Loved my stay at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. We stayed for 4 nights and it was great. We had a Ruby tower corner suite and it was perfect. This hotel is perfect for when you want to be close to the strip but also off the strip. There is so much crazy action going on at the strip and it was so nice to come back to a hotel that was so relaxing. There is a side pool that we literally fell asleep in because it was so relaxing! My one and only downside about this hotel was the housekeeping. On our first night there was a housekeeper who lied about cleaning our room and skipped us. That was very disappointing. I know this is a personal issue with a housekeeper but it's fine. They gave us 2 for 1 drinks coupons at the bar and it was so convenient before we went out for the night. I love everything about this hotel and will recommend it to other people!

Stayed here to experience the "virgin " hype. Rooms were very clean and spacious. I found it awkward that there was no dresser to put clothing in but ample closet space. Rooms are equipped with a light by the door to alert for room cleaning. We had trouble getting someone to turn our room a couple of days but the cleaning was done appropriately when they came around. The view was beautiful from the room and had 2 french doors looking outward. These do not open or even lead to a balcony. Was double charged upon exit for things in the mini bar not utilized. Getting someone to assist us in that was impossible. ended up checking out and paying the price anyway. Navigation to the different towers was confusing the first few days. The hotel is located under a mile from the strip. No hot tub accessible during cooler months. The pool area looked very inviting but closed as well due to temperatures. Overall, the hotel was nice but probably won't stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool is phenomenal, it’s really nice to have the mini beach and be able to swim with sand at your feet. I feel like the sand provided a cooling effect when I dug my toes in! The casino portion is smaller and I think that’s just a Mohegan Sun kind of thing. We got a really great rate on our room, we stayed in a corner king and the views were of the strip and it was spectacular! I’d highly suggest stopping at a Walmart or similar location and grab a small cooler or bag to keep ice and drinks throughout your stay, that’s what we did. They have a mini fridge however it’s stocked with items for purchase. If you want it emptied it’s a $40 charge. I think this is similar practice across many hotels in Vegas though. We loved the location because it was easy to get in and out of the area and go to many different places by avoiding some busy traffic areas. Staying on the strip is completely chaotic, however, to each their own! Virgin allowed us to have a more mellow environment to go back to away from the busy areas.

I was able to check into my room at around 12-1am and although there was only one desk attendant we were patient and very excited for our trip. The staff was wonderful and we made pleasant conversation as he was checking us in. He even gave us a small room upgrade! The room was MASSIVE, clean, and wonderfully modern with great decor. The casino part itself never insanely busy like others on the strip which I loved. It gave a quieter experience. On our second day we went to the Elia Beach Club for the pool party. Getting there was a little confusing, maybe more signage would help. But once we got there it was fun! Security is tight which makes you feel secure. Music was more EDM but it did have others. I think the music could use more of a healthy balance of lyrics and non but we still had fun and met cool people. All in all 10/10 my first time in Vegas but I will stay no where else when I come back!

Beautiful casino focused on slots and restaurants. The casino has been perfectly decorated. The ambiance is amazing. The slots are pretty loose as well. Drink service was a little slow and no promotions for your birthday. I will definitely return in the future for food and gaming.

Staying at Virgin was overall “alright.” There were plenty of pros, but the cons we experienced outweighed those. Pros: - Clean room and hotel - Friendly housekeeping staff - Friendly event staff - Friendly staff at all restaurants/bars - We attended a show at The Theater and and it was nice to stay at the same spot - Lovely decor - More chill vibes than the strip, which we enjoyed Cons: - No perks for staying in a suite. I wish we had not spent the extra money on this. Probably the biggest regret of our trip right here. No car services offered, no help with luggage, no suite concierge, no fees waived. Extremely disappointing. - No concierge available during our stay at the hotel, leaving us to deal with the bellhop/front desk. They were both rude and unhelpful. We sent out something to get pressed and asked to have it back by 1pm and bellhop told us that wouldn’t be a problem. We didn’t get it back until 5pm and nearly missed our wedding. They rudely told us to read before dropping things off (we did. The laundry form said “rush orders available upon request and for an additional fee”), then said we could call the cleaners if we wanted - but they weren’t going to reach out to them for us. I’m happy to take responsibility for not getting something in writing from them about the return time, but they were clearly not going to accept any responsibility. - No taxi presence at all. Most of us ride share these days, but it’s nice to have the option during long wait times.

I recently stayed at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel is conveniently located close to the strip, making it easy to get around and explore all that Las Vegas has to offer. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean, and modern, with all the amenities you could possibly need. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the design, which gave the room a luxurious feel without being too over-the-top. The casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is also quite impressive, with a wide range of games and activities to choose from. Whether you're a seasoned gambler or just looking for a bit of fun, you're sure to find something to enjoy here. But what really sets this hotel apart, in my opinion, is the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome and valued as a guest. Every member of the team I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help in any way they could. The only downside to my stay was the fact that they charged for hot water if you wanted to make coffee in your room, which was a bit of a surprise. However, this was a minor issue overall and didn't detract from my overall positive impression of the hotel. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Virgin Hotels Las Vegas to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and convenient place to stay in Las Vegas. With its great location, top-notch amenities, and outstanding staff, it's a truly excellent choice for anyone visiting this vibrant city.

I couldn't give it 5 stars because of the resort fee. It's listed as $45 but it's actually $51. We stayed during winter so didn't get to use the outdoor amenities at all so not sure why we even had to pay a resort fee. In room bottle of water was $10.80. The rooms were fantastic and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable and we loved free parking.

Love this Hotel! All staffs are so friendly From front desk, to room service and all over the casino floor! If you're looking for a great hotel that's close to the strip and affordable, this is the place! Room was so nice and clean. The bathroom was just a little too small, but the BED was the BEST part! So so comfy! I'll definitely be going back!

This is our choice when visiting long distance to Vegas. Great food options, rooms are very clean (also no smoke), love the salt pool with sand, and the resort aspect. We could stay here for the whole vacation, and we would be able to keep ourselves occupied and happy! Making reservations for places like food and daybeds are a MUST as it will give you a leg up. The photo uploaded is our Strip View King Chamber.

I would not stay here again. The rooms were very nice, spacious, clean and modern. The huge bathroom with the rain shower was absolutely relaxing. The front desk attendant who checked us in gave us misinformation about where we could use our daily food credit. He was also rude and short with me when I asked him questions about our stay and amenities in the hotel. I understand there were quite a few people checking in at that time, but that's not an excuse for bad customer service. Normally, I check out through the app because it's easier. However, this time, I'm glad I didn't. I was about to be overcharged by over $300! The rate that I received when I booked my room was not the rate I was being charged per night. We were also charged extra fees for our food purchases. This is the main reason I don't trust it when they say we'll charge it to your room. It took some time, but we were able to get it all sorted out before we left. I wish I could remember the young lady's name who was so helpful and patient while we worked through the issues. If you stay here, pay very close attention to your bill!

Was recently here for a conference and enjoyed the stay. The room was great, the restaurants had very good food as well. It's a little off the strip but within walking distance. No resort fees, staff was great. The pool and outdoor area also super nice. I will say the casino is adequate but if you're a big gambler you might be looking for more. I'm not so it suited me fine.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, my fiance and I loved it. Valet parking was free, big bonus. Our room was so beautiful! They called it a "chamber" and it really felt like one. The room was huge and spacious. Lounge, big nice bathroom, shower was wonderful, rainfall head with hand attachment. We ate at one steakhouse there, the meal was delicious. The filet could have been cut with a spoon it was so tender, perfectly cooked. Staff was so bright and helpful. The resort pool was perfectly temped. In the afternoon, sun placement meant a big part of the pool was shaded, it was great. Would absolutely stay here again; we hope to!

Beautiful place, friendly/helpful staff, and it’s “just” within walking distance of the strip - if you like to walk. Lobby and room decor/lighting were all very well done. Room was spacious and clean, too. Booked through a third party app and had a non refundable $50 fee added. A couple caveats: If you don’t plan on actually buying the cool looking boxed candy next to the TV, don’t even pick it up or you get charged. The tray knows. Same with the fridge. We removed some items to keep something of ours cool and replaced them in the morning. If you do that, confirm you didn’t get charged.

We loved being off the strip a bit but this place will never survive. The casino was always completely empty. Rooms are all very small by Vegas standards. We got a sub-$100 price on Priceline but then we’re hit with the hidden $50 per night “resort fee.” “Free” parking is t really free. Just included in your resort fee. Definitely tired of this industry-wide practice. This is an old Hard Rock hotel that went out of business during the pandemic and has re-opened with the Virgin branding. It was fine but definitely lacks the Vegas hotel vibe and is not likely to last long with an empty casino, empty restaurants, and plenty of empty rooms. “I’m also not sure what paying extra for a “strip view” actually accomplished. The hotel is oriented perpendicular to the strip so we were face South with a view of the airport and strip off to our right. I assume the other side facing north could also see the strip off to their left. Whatever. This hotel is clean and just…fine. In any city OTHER than Vegas I’m sure it would be viewed as a luxury brand but by Vegas standards it’s just a step up from a Hampton Inn.

Absolutely LOVED my stay here, not really a strip kinda traveller so being slightly outside of that vortex was perfect for us. First we were given an affordable upgrade to the ruby tower which is located conveniently near the casino and front desk. The staff at the front desk were all 10/10 with their service, when I had a booking issue that was solved with a simple phone call and then a charge issue upon check out but the two worked as a team to sort it out asap. We had a cool view of the marble from our room without, if you are able bodied it’s about a 10-15 minute walk away. Hotel was also located near a target and the atomic museum which was a really convenient location for us. The full bottles of shampoo and conditioner was a nice touch and left my hair feeling clean and smooth which was nice, the bathtub is legit I had the best bath. The on site dining options made it so much easier for us to do things during the day without having to go place to place. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We absolutely will stay again!

I recently stayed at the Virgin Hotel, formerly the iconic Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Situated just off the Strip, this revamped gem boasts a chic blend of modern and vintage decor. The spacious rooms, especially the Ruby Grand Corner Chamber King, offer luxury and comfort with stunning views. Dining is a treat with options like the Kitchen at Commons Club and the upscale ONE Steakhouse. While the pool was closed during my winter visit, the lush surroundings promise a relaxing oasis. Other highlights include the Mohegan Sun Casino, a 4,500-seat theater, and a luxurious spa. The service, ambiance, and accommodations make the Virgin Hotel a must-stay in Vegas. Highly recommend for a unique Vegas experience! 🎲🌟🍸

What hotel has a suite that is specifically for people with dogs? That was the main reason we stayed here in an addition to it being away from the strip. We are super low-key and don’t enjoy huge crowds so this hotel was perfect for us with our dogs. The pet relief area was easily accessible and the staff were all super pleasant. Not into gambling but didn’t mind walking through the casino briefly to get to one of the restaurants. Overall, good place to stay for sure!

The location is five min from the airport!!! I would start out or end your trip at this hotel. Smaller scale casino, but it works to do some light playing before you hit the strip or Fremont. Excellent and diverse choices of restaurants and amenities. My wife and I loved the beds as well. Bell desk service will come help you with your bags if needed, even if you're catching a red eye. I had a good time at this hotel. Hopefully, their business model is sustainable. Taking over the HardRock is no small feat.

I recently stayed at Virgin, its a busy hotel keep in mind but if you let the staff know what you need they will help you. I had an unfortunate incident with the bathroom and they took care of it, moved us to a different room and credited our account 100 for the resort fee. The pool and restaurants are very nice, its a great hotel and the staff is working hard to make sure everyone is happy. Go easy on them..they are keeping things clean and well run. It's a fun place!

Please note this review isn't for the hotel experience, but is for two exemplary employees who assisted me during the fiasco of the Theater throwing away everyone's expensive reusable water bottles. William was the only front desk employee who actually cared about helping me, and help me he did. After I discovered a lead on finding our bottles, he promptly followed through and contacted security. Security took a while to arrive, but before they did, after about 20 minutes of waiting William actually took it upon himself to give us an update and brought us water bottles. I was so frustrated this simple thing almost made me tear up. Dylan was the security employee who approached us about our bottles. Nobody from The Theater comes close to how calm, down to earth, and polite he was. He had us describe our bottles and he went and grabbed them. Simple as that. After The Theater jerked us around for 6 hours, I felt like an angel descended from heaven just to help us. Both of these individuals are phenomenal at not only their job, but are phenomenal people. I am glad people like them were there today.

Loved this for a hotel stay off the strip. I was very impressed with the decor, the set up & the room was great! The only issue I had was with the light settings in the room. They were weird to control & you could only turn them all on. Unless I missed something? Other than that the room was awesome! one steak house & kitchen were great restaurants, food was amazing. The 2 for 1 drinks at the bar was a great treat & loved the bar itself. I would stay here again!

This was an amazing hotel experience. I loved every minute here. The front desk staff was lovely and polite to speak with. The room was so well designed and comfortable. The aesthetics were designed with soothing and joyful ambiance. Immaculately clean and just a pleasure to be at. Thank you and I can't wait to come back. The view was stunning 😍 Oh ,and the food was delicious pizza forte, ice cream was incredible and all with great presentation. The pool with the sand was so perfect. It had the lifeguards on duty and they were keen to all that was going on. Such a safe environment to play and enjoy

Wasn’t sure what to expect as we normally stay far away from the strip at the Red Rock. This place was a pleasant suprise! Booked because we were attending a concert at the theater which was an amazing venue to catch a show! Acoustics were great! For the hotel, this is the old hard rock so has some changes if you haven’t been there since it was. The rooms were nice, corner king chamber was nice! The rest of the resort was updated and very clean, casino is smaller than most but we’re not big on the casino scene anyway. Pools were nice, sandy beach and good music. The prices for food and drinks were pretty acceptable for a resort. What really stood out was the service. Everyone in the hotel, theater and restaurants was very helpful and nice. We didn’t have a single bad meal or drink the entire weekend. Best part also is that it was not very busy, maybe because of the heat but it was nice to not have to deal with swarms of people like you would at a dirty strip hotel. We would absolutely be back.

I really enjoyed the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas - Ruby Towers. The room was nice king size bed, sitting area. Very nice but what really impressed my was the bathroom. So i took pictures of that. tub was huge and the best part of the room. I would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoy the decor and aesthetic of the resort! It’s colorful and has lots of funky furniture pieces. The night audit staff is very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately there was not working air conditioning in the room during our night there, which made for a lot of sweaty tossing and turning. We arrived too late (around 2am) and just wanted sleep so we just dealt with it. I don’t know if we would stay there again, but would be willing to go back if we knew the AC would be working.

I finally rented a cabana on last full day (a Wednesday) of our trip. I was questioned by a guy (who I thought was another guest) about my limp (I have a cane), he wanted to “pray” for me. He had snuck into the pool area while the 5 employees never noticed him. The dude was walking around in soaking wet underwear exposing himself while “praying for guests”. I saw him approach another woman in a gold bikini as well. I never reported him. The employees let him in, and tbh I had already been made aware that afternoon that the pool was separate from the hotel. Who would have cared even if I did report him? I had a pool guest question me about my service dog (literally within 1 minute of the religious zealot praying and exposing himself to me). He was upset that he couldn’t bring his dogs into the pool area. I was again, trapped, because I’m disabled, and just laid there while this guy got angry at me for something I had no control over. I shrugged my shoulders, (What could I say?) He said “must be nice”. Yeah, it’s great being disabled /s. I left the pool around 4pm. I didn’t want anyone else to talk to me. I’m not disabled because I want to be, I’m disabled because I am. The misters for the cabanas are all broken, the sides don’t go up, so you basically cook inside the little cabana tents. I was harassed relentlessly by other guests when I tried to lay out on on the chaise in front of my cabana just trying to catch a breeze in 107 degree heat. I won’t be going back to the Virgin hotel not because of the hotel itself, but because of the people this place attracts. I could barely get over one incident when someone else would question my disability, again, and again and AGAIN. I was alone. I was vulnerable, and it was awful. Who was I supposed to report anything too? The pool is a “separate department from the hotel”, just like everything else. No one really cares what any other “department” is doing. If you want ice? It’s $3 for an 8oz cup. The ice machine was broken on our floor. I would’ve brought my own ice down but i couldn’t. The hotel issued me a $30 credit for ice, again mentioning the pool was separate from the hotel.

Always clean! The atmosphere is the best. It's not a noisy place. It's really a place to unwind after spending a day/ night on the strip! There's a lot of restaurants around this hotel (short walk), and the coffee shop inside makes the BEST caramel macchiato! My Vegas hotel

Stayed in the ruby tower of this hotel during the 4TH of July weekend if 2023. Loved it!!! From the hallway and double door entry to the spacious bathrooms and furniture, the design was fabulous. I would go back for sure on my next trip. I’m not a gambling guy so the casino portion is not something I would be a good person to refer to. On the location, just minutes from the main strip. Although this hotel is not in the middle of the main strip, I actually enjoyed less action around me when returning to this hotel for rest and comfort. Finally, the outdoor temperature was 107 degrees at 7:30P some nights while visiting Vegas in July!

Dear Guest services/ Hotel Managers I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the excellent service we received during our recent stay at Virgin. We checked in late May 26 and checked out on Tuesday May 30 and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received from all of your staff members. I would like to specifically mention Allison, front of house manager, Chris and Peter at the pool, Kim our casino attendant, she was awesome and full of life and most of all Marc the pool manager who I had the pleasure of watching him carefully take care of all his staff and at the same time interact with his guests, it was exceptional, I would like to bring attention to how amazing Allison was, We arrived late to a room that wasn't up to standards, the next morning I went down the front counter and asked for a manager, Allison promptly came out, we had a private conversation regarding the room, just like that she had another room available for us, no worries no sweat. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Virgin, We have noticed that hotels are hotels, it really doesn't matter where you are, its the staff and personalities that make the experience and Virgin has been one of the best for us. Thank you again for making my stay so enjoyable. I look forward to returning to your hotel in the future. Sincerely

Business stay. Really not bad, parking was great and free, close to rooms. Rooms were really nicely decorated. I presume I was updated as a Hilton Diamond member to Ruby Tower room. It was really nice. Only complaint was the walls are kind of thin. Neighbors were talking at top volume until 4:00 a.m. also was not able to use my dining credit because of limited places that take it, and also when I did go once to the cafe it was not allowing transactions due to power failure. That said, I checked the prices. Your $15 credit won't get you much more than a muffin at best... UPDATE: Management promptly responded to my issues above. That attention to customer service alone is why I will return again.

Me and my partner stayed here for our trip to Las Vegas and the accommodations were excellent. This hotel is off the strip and we knew this while booking, it is about a 20 minute walk to the strip if you’re walking, it’s less than a 5 minute Uber ride that way. The room is incredibly clean and was not dirty. The hotel cleaning staff do a great job of cleaning the room everyday. We stayed by the pool a couple days and it was relaxing and well taken care of. Everything about this hotel was well taken care of. The casino in the lobby is owned by Mohegan and the hotel is owned by Virgin which I believe is why this hotel seems to be struggling. However, overall it was a comfortable great stay, just know if you do book here it is a walk to the strip, but it isn’t unbearable to do so. The clean, comfortable accommodations and price is worth it.

This hotel lives up to the Virgin experience. The room was awesome. Floor to ceiling windows the view was amazing. The mini fridge comes fully stocked (you are automatically charged if you remove anything). Wish they had an option for a empty fridge. This hotel is off the strip and is great for people who don't like the hustle and bustle of the big hotels.

A great hotel with a cozy style and couch. Lots of space in the wardrobe and spacious bathroom. It's more quiet than other hotels in the area but still everything in reach. A great place to stay and the casino downstairs is more quiet. The restaurants downstairs have lots of choice for food. The only reason I don't give 5 stars: - the reception staff told me there's a water kettle and they would bring it. Turns out they don't have them. Staff should know this. - the reception told me wrong opening times of the pool. Again something they didn't know. Otherwise I can highly recommend this place.

Well it's not 'The Hard Rock Casino" first really noticed entering the casino. The guitar door handles are gone, man, I would have liked to have one of those. The casino except for some paint, carpet change, along with employee attire has changed. That is until you go out to the pool grounds area. Wow very well fancy. Still park for free. There are some new restaurants and shops but I walked in went right up to the same game I played at the Hard Rock in the same location. I do like it I always have fun, just hope the Resort. Hope it picks up soon. But for sure it's a new fave.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July. The rooms were not cleaned sufficiently (no vacuuming under the cabinet - where there was a lot of dust and some bottle caps from previous guests). The bathroom was quite large, but the towels were very thin and not as white as expected from such a hotel. The pool was nice but there was no shade and not enough umbrellas to rent (I was only able to spot 5 or six and we were told none were available anymore). Also, there was no refrigerator in the room, which is very uncomfortable in July in Vegas. There was also a strong smell in the room, most likely from somebody’s smoking although it is a non-smoking hotel. The staff was very helpful and shown an interest in helping us with anything they could (a special thanks to Lay, from Ruby concierge who was great in supporting us with anything we needed).

Having stayed at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Curio Collection by Hilton, around 10-12 times since its transition from the Hard Rock, I've consistently enjoyed my visits and feel compelled to share my experiences. Plus the Chiefs won on Sunday, so I was feeling pretty good. The hotel strikes an excellent balance between value and luxury. Its proximity to the Strip is perfect for those looking to explore Las Vegas's iconic attractions without being overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle. For late-night cravings or a quick bite, there's a White Castle right across the street, which is a convenient plus. One aspect that sets this hotel apart is its casino. It's notably quieter and less crowded than others in the area, providing a more relaxed and enjoyable gaming experience. This more laid-back atmosphere is a refreshing change from the typical high-energy Vegas casinos and is perfect for guests who prefer a more subdued environment. The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and offer a good night's sleep after a long day. The staff's attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction are evident throughout the hotel. I also appreciate the hotel's overall aesthetic and vibe, which is modern yet inviting. It's clear that Hilton has put considerable effort into maintaining the unique character of the property while ensuring it meets their high standards. In summary, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is a great choice for anyone visiting the city. Whether you're in town for a game, business, or leisure, this hotel offers a convenient location, great value, and a pleasant, quieter alternative to the typical Vegas experience.

The renovation of the old Hard Rock hotel into the new Virgin hotel is great. The rooms are well kept, and the grounds are beautiful. We visited recently to see outdoor concerts in their new outdoor venue, great spot to catch a show outdoors during the pandemic.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Always willing to help with any questions or concerns we had. Not on the strip but was in walking distance. Since it was a couple blocks down from the strip it was not as crowded as some of the other hotels. A bit more calmer and easier to navigate. Also loved the decorations and theme through out the hotel. Will definitely be returning again in the future.

Room was beautiful unfortunately with being in the opal tower we did walk a lot. But the view was great overlooking the pool area. Usb plugs all throughout the room made it convenient to plug in electrical devices. Large beautiful walk in shower, handy makeup vanity to get ready for a night out on the town. Great location when wanting to be near but off of the main strip. All in all a great deal. Can't wait for my next trip to Vegas.

Absolutely amazing hotel super close to the strip! I loved the style of the rooms and the the hotel overall. My only 2 complaints are that the shower had no shelves to put toiletries on or a place to rest my feet when shaving my legs and the snack tray on top of the minibar had no signage telling me that just picking up a snack box to read the contents label would result in a $50 fee being added to my bill. I will say, however the front desk attendant was very understanding and they were able to correct the charges very easily.

A short ride from the airport, friendly staff and mostly clean room. You can tell this hotel is more suppose to be visually appealing and less on the thorough clean side. Unfortunately planes take off and land very close to the hotel so if you are sensitive to noise, this may not be the place for you. Light switches in the rooms are entirely too complicated and my TV wasn’t even hung correctly and wires were dangling all behind it. All in all, I enjoyed my quick overnight, breakfast was great as was my server Cindy!

Room was dusty and far away from the entrance. They need another entrance closer to the towers. There were no luggage carts available. To many doors in the bathroom like a huge door to enter the shower/ toilet area and another door to the shower and no soap dishes. there was no space for clothes or shoes to change into. The vanity area was nice just not easily accessible because of another huge door. Food options at the hotel was amazing!

Great room, staff pleasant, no issues or concerns. I’m glad I booked it(inspired by Virgin Voyages cruise 🚢 we just recently came back), hoping to book again we we come back. Not too far from the strip(25-30 min walk). Have a lot of restaurants nearby for a change up on food other than what’s on the resort.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The players club leaves a lot to be desired. Our cards never worked and we never received our free play. The restaurants were fair at best and very pricey. The room was large and very clean.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean, the staff were all very nice. The parking and wifi are free. The hotel inside and out was kept clean. My one issue is on their website it says there are designated smoking areas and the rest was supposed to be smoke free. However, this was not enforced at all. Our last night we even started smelling smoke in our room. I called to let the front desk know, she said there's no smoking in rooms, it must be coming through the vents. She said she'd send someone up to check. To me it seemed like it was coming from the hall. We had to put towels under the door to try and keep it from coming in. We couldn't do anything in the main part of the hotel because it always smelled like smoke. The restaurants are open to it as well, so we didn't get to try any of the restaurants on site.

Formerly known as The Hard Rock but far from the same. The remodeling was truly impressive. The reorganization is tactfully veiled with quality upgrades and interesting eye candy, as well as auditory candy. In the center of the casino floor is an auditorium like ceiling with a cathedral feel. It uses natural acoustics to reverberate your voice which I never would've noticed if I weren't talking with a friend on the phone while walking through the focus of it. My senses began noticing various things like this throughout the casino which gives it a very curious feeling and it teased at my mind to keep and eye, and ear, open for more. Housing a desert motif, I found the contemporary ornaments satisfying and classy. Somewhat trendy but still very useful. The room impressed me in many ways. The view was fascinating with my angle of the pool and stage area then the mountain backdrop adorned with a strip skyline. I kept my curtains open all night and fell asleep to the glow of lights from the casinos in my window, which I never do but the nostalgia was unavoidable. I really liked a lot of the room feature upgrades. Now, if the casino itself played a little more generously, I would be fully on board but to be fair, not many casinos in Vegas have been too kind to me. But I would consider waiting in the trenches if the hospitality is anything like this.

This hotel was very good. Mostly new. Price was very reasonable. No resort fees and no parking fee. The main pool was very kid friendly, with a beach with sand. There seems to be a day club as well in another pool. Only complaint, Friday and Saturday good luck getting any sleep. There is usually some kind of outdoor concert and club. The music was pumping till 2 AM.

Off the strip, so it isn't terribly crowded, and the staff are all super friendly. I love that dogs are welcome, and some rooms have doggy doors. The restaurants aren't crazy expensive by Vegas standards, and they have pretty good specials throughout the week. I spent two weeks here for work, and it's one of the better hotels I've visited in Vegas. I hope to be back!

We're here now and the staff is very personable. Al from Security, who is on mask patrol, is awesome! It’s still new so they understandably have some kinks to work out. I would advise guests to verify status of the pools before making plans for your day. Sunday morning we went to the Adults Resort Pool. We had a cabana reservation for Monday morning & wanted to check it out. It was the 2 of us and two other adults, not in our me party. Around 0915, Security came up and told us it was closed on Sunday's but would open Monday morning. After we left, he raised the rope to close the area off. When we arrived at the pool Monday morning, we were told the adult pool is only open on weekends. Sunday is a weekend, if I'm correct? We were told the Security "guy" is probably new and didn't know. Not sure if this a misunderstanding but it’s certainly confusing for hotel guests. Why does the website allow you to reserve a cabana in that area if the pool is closed?

It was a fun stay at the Virgin Las Vegas Hotel. We wanted a beach resort feel and not necessarily on the strip since we had the 12 year old with us. This was an unplanned and last minute decision but it worked out. We got everything that we wanted from our long weekend. Pool days and a variety of restaurants. Our favorite was the 24 hr cafe, every meal there was solid whether it was breakfast, or dinner. We even tried room service and the food didn’t disappoint.

Tried virgin hotel because of the sand pool and remodel after transform from hard rock. Hilton honors app doesn't work with this hotel for selecting a room because virgin is not really a Hilton hotel. The pool hours is 9:30-7 so you really need to plan it well to be able to use it. It's 3 feet deep on one side good for kids and 6 feet in the middle. Only one of the 3 pools are for everyone. The other 2 are adults only. And the main pool has sands on the edge which is unique in Vegas. The room are remodeled which looks pretty nice. The bed is over soft to my taste. The down side is the door connected to next room is not sound proof so all the phone conversation and music playing next door are heard and annoying. Also the fridge is small and filled with drinks that would get charged once you moved the drinks. So there's no useable fridge, also no microwave or coffee machine which is lacking for a 4 star hotel. We stayed at Opal tower and paradise parking structure is right next to it so it's quite convenient access to cars without going through the casino. However the hotel is far from the strip and nothing much spectacular around the hotel. It's very close to the airport and we can see the plane touching down from the room. Express checkout option is convenient.

From booking the room to check in was a smooth transition. The room was more than expected! Unfortunately for the morning housekeeping service she did not respect the do not disturb light on my door and tried to enter. When I opened the door she stated that she just wanted to make sure I was checking out because she was suppose to clean it. Mind you, this was well before check out time! I would recommend you ask the concierge to note the “do not disturb” light be respected for the price per night being charged!

THIS IS NOT A VIRGIN CRUISE experience! Don’t confuse the experience or service with Virgin Cruises, you will be disappointed. The service here is way below the cruise line standard. When we arrived the first two bellman didn’t help us with our luggage. I just figured everything was self-service until I met Marcus! He saved my opinion of staff service and it was uphill from there. In general the staff is nice, but not overly helpful (in comparison to Virgin Cruises). Our group enjoyed being off the strip, especially since it was easily accessible by ride share. We have all stayed on the strip and we were looking for something different. The food is extremely overpriced compared to quality. The rooms are nice and it was good to see regular upkeep of the property. The pool was nice, but expect an up charge for EVERYTHING! Pool umbrellas are $20, salsa for a $20+ quesadilla is $1.50, a cup of ice is $3. We chose this property after 2 cruises with Virgin Cruises. I would stay here again, but I would have much different expectations.

This was a pretty unique experience for me. The hotel seems to be in really great condition with plenty of updated amenities. It doesn't smell like all the other hotels in Vegas and is about a 5-10 min drive to the strip. Also very close to the airport. Here's the thing, it's a very empty hotel. Feels very clean and nice and was a great value (aside from the costs of food on the premises but this is all of Vegas) and has a nice vibe as well. It's just very very quiet and empty. To be honest, I loved that. It felt like we could escape the chaos of Vegas at the hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay here.

The consensus was customer service was not great. It seemed as though people were stressed and overwhelmed. Not particular friendly but very abrupt with their answers as well as their service. We did not feel special or appreciated. The bartenders, reservation clerk, and some of wait staff were like we were just a part of the crowd. The room was beautiful and spacious however my friends and I have decided not to return to your hotel because of the service was subpar. We agreed our money should be spent in a hotel where guests are treated better. I hope that you can use this review to improve your hotel.

Really beautiful hotel, nice location and great furniture. Unfortunately we had to ask the concierge three time to fix the water pressure (but is still bad and weak), the light in the bathroom and fix the toilet because it was clogged. Today we went to the pool. We pay $51 resort fee, we are in Vegas where to sun burns and is really hot. The hotel only offers umbrellas when you pay $20 (!!). This really makes me unhappy. I maybe can understand that the hotel asks $5 for a coke, $10 for a small bottle of smart water, but also $20 for an umbrella… I don’t get it. So if you don’t want/can’t pay, you can burn or leave the pool area. There is no spot in the shadow so there is no alternative. This isn’t the service I am used to. We’ve booked 5 nights, this is our first day. If I knew this way the service Virgin Curio offers, I would have take another resort.

Stayed here just one night on a cross country road trip but the property was incredibly awesome. The room was immaculate and bright, even for a standard two queen it felt very upscale. The casino floor allows smoking but i actually didn’t see very many people partaking so there wasn’t a cloud of smoke. The front desk staff made checking in so smooth and the sheer number of restaurants and activities at this property would make it very easy to spend a week without leaving.

For our first ever visit to Vegas, the Virgin Hotel was perfect. We stayed in the Ruby tower and had one of the most comfortable rooms I have ever stayed in. The hotel also features a fantastic resort-style pool area which is clean and relaxing. The restaurants and casino are also tremendous. Would highly recommend the Virgin if staying off-strip in Vegas.

This hotel is off the strip so in very hot weather you will need an Uber or rental car to get around but it's worth it if you enjoy a more laid back vibe. The pools were the nicest pools I have been too but be sure to get there when they open or it'll be hard to find a spot. The rooms were super spacious and with a good amount of space. The only draw back are the bathrooms for the double bed rooms. Very tight and makes it hard for 2 people to be in it at the same time. The cleanliness was great and our housekeeper Gypsy was super sweet. The cocktail bar has the best bartenders and they don't hold back on the liqour. For the price of this hotel I will definitely be back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Virgin. The entire resort is so beautiful. The staff was friendly the food was good and the elevators were fast. It also didn’t feel like a normal Vegas casino which I loved. It was easy to get around, didn’t feel like a maze. I wish there was more shade at the pool but $20 for an umbrella was definitely worth it. It appeared that there was only 2 umbrellas available to rent though which is crazy so get one before they are gone. We will definitely come back here again.

It was very good. Although walking through the casino to get to your room is not ideal. And on one of the days, our room was n0t cleaned despite multiple requests. So just be aware that if you want service or house keeping it could turn into mission impossible.

The hotel is beautiful. The grounds were new and inviting. The rooms were clean and comfortable as well. The pool was gorgeous however they did not have water for free and would not allow water bottles. The staff failed to mention there was a water fountain and told me that's Vegas after questioning their water policy.

Just spent this past weekend there. Had an issue with the A.C. they replaced the motor in 30 minutes and A.C. was working like new. Because of the inconvenience, they credited me a night. Service, staff and manager were super accommodating. Loved the location, so close to the airport. Just a couple of minutes away from the strip. My room in the Ruby Tower was beautiful. Food in Kitchen Common was delicious. Would definitely stay there again.

Great views of the pool from nearly every room, with interesting decor. The chairs in the bar area are uncomfortable and the lobby could use a more visable charging station. The tables are were joy goes to die. The Valet staff is amazing, very knowledgeable of the layout of the casino and they were prompt with my vehicle.

This hotel is absolutely stunning and beautiful. The atmosphere is very relaxed, welcoming, and new/modern. The only downside is that there isn’t a shuttle or some way to help connect you to the rest of the strip. The free parking though is absolutely unheard of and so very appreciated. The rooms are spacious, roomy, and have fantastic views. The employees are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and get some ice cream at Afters Ice Cream and get yourself some pizza at Pizza Forte. The outdoor pools are also absolutely stunning. Overall a fantastic hotel that will be the place I stay whenever I come to Vegas in the future. Thank you!

The hotel room was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. We stayed in The Ruby tower and loved everything about our room. The reception staff was very helpful and polite. I would say the only negative part was the casino. The casino was just blah, very limited amount of slots. No crowds, no "good vibes" and when we actually sat down to play the cocktail service was non-existent. We did all of our gaming at other resorts. If gaming isn't important to you, then you'll love it here.

The room was very clean and smelled really good. The bed is comfortable and the service is top notch. Price point was great! Free parking and not too far from the strip if you’re younger but could be a far walk for an older person. Definitely will be staying here my next trip back to Las Vegas.
