Unfortunately this place has a very bad or no management somehow. After booking thru a internet plattform, I asked for the extra cost for a little dog in advance and told them, that I assume, that it is for free, if they don’t respond. They send me a message telling me the check in and out times, but no mentioning any extra cost for our doggy. When I arrived, they did not know about this conversation and didn’t have a room like reserved for me. I didn’t want to change for 2 single beds and had to leave for a privat meeting. 4 and a half hours later (!), I got a call, that they found a room, but still wanted to charge 4000MX$ (almost 200US$) for the 2 nights extra for our dog! I did not agree and wanted to speak with the manager (3 times over all)- he never gave me the chance to. Checking in at 2 in the morning, they still wanted to charge me 2000MX$ per night for a little doggy. I refused to do so. They gave me a room with a king size bed - but let me tell you - I guess it was the worst one they could find (no 8022). For sure nothing you can see on the pictures - extremely small, dark spots on the ceiling and old cigarette butts on the balcony. Water and (only one for 2!) coffee capsule was not renewed after the first night! 5* !? Only the price - otherwise no way - is this the standard of Fiesta Americana!? Restaurant: Dogs are not allowed in the open air restuarant, but a local cat is walking free from table to table to ask for food!? Imagine you have to pay 2000MX$ for your dog and you can not bring it!? Shrimps were great, rice and vegetables were cold! I wonder, when someone in the management of the FA group does something against this!? I posted also on TA. They have great gardens and pools as well as the people were friendly… But when I read also some other reviews, they are just so unprofessional in management. By the way - only one guy spoke some english, when I checked in and all the menus were only in Spanish. Maybe they don’t want international guest (with dogs)!? But then, please let us know!

This is a great hotel. A particular experience since it was adapted from an old Hacienda from the late 1500's, filled with great picture spots, usually booked for events (weddings). It has all the needed comforts and amenities of a 5* hotel, it is very safe (I travel with an 11yo who prefers to stay in the room with AC and wifi; we had no trouble enjoying our stay: pool, restaurants, Starbucks, while my son enjoyed the comfort of the room) Service is pretty good too. Would love to say I will be back, but came to this place for an event. Given the occasion I will definitely book my stay here.

We really loved the experience of staying at this incredible hacienda. The front desk staff spoke English, which was helpful to us. We had a two bedroom suite and our only wish was that they would have screens on the windows so we could enjoy the lovely weather without mosquitoes entering our room. We had to use the AC system instead which was wasted energy. The Sunday brunch is world class! Also, the mattress and bedding was incredible, very comfortable place to sleep!

An absolutely stunning property, so much detail and beauty. The only challenge was finding staff that spoke English. Even wirh that, the service was impeccable. Special mention of the one woman on our food/beverage team that after I asked for butter the first time, brought me butter without me asking every other time. This location is a must for a re-visit.

It’s a magnificent wedding venue! We recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at this grand hacienda, and it offers a wealth of opportunities for photos, as well as a variety of distinct areas that make it perfect for large events. The area boasts lush gardens, fountains, and a view of surrounding landscape, providing a beautiful backdrop for outdoor ceremonies and portraits...and the hacienda's elegant colonial-style architecture makes for a striking background for indoor shots! And obviously, one of the best things about the venue is its size. It can accommodate a large number of guests comfortably, and there are various areas that can be used for different parts of the wedding, including spacious lawns, restaurant, ceremony space, restaurants and a grand ballroom. This makes it ideal for wedding photos, as it gives you ample space and a variety of backdrops for photos without disturbing anyone. The staff at the hacienda are very helpful, making it easy to capture the perfect shots. They help to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes everyone feel relaxed and at ease. Overall, it's an ideal wedding venue and a photographer's paradise. The natural beauty of the property, combined with its elegant architecture, large size and well-manicured grounds, make it the perfect setting for creating memories that will last a lifetime!

I went with the family to get a Starbucks coffee, not knowing we could walk around the place, so we walked around and took pictures. No body batter us. We love the place. Definitely, next time I visit Mexico, I will stay at this beautiful place full of history.

Just a real close attention to details. Grounds are beautiful, food is awesome. Loved it. (And compared to American prices?) Wow. If you're in this neck of the woods and need a place to stay (and eat), make the call.

This colonial hotel is excellent. I think it used to be a Hacienda. The people and the service are great. The hotel is a calm and quiet place to relax and enjoy Mexico. The food at the restaurant is delicious. I enjoyed some “Chiles en Nogada,” and they are exquisite. They also have excellent options for their brunch buffet. And if you can’t get away from your Starbucks, they also have, but try to taste the “café de olla” instead.

It’s a truly beautiful place. Tucked away there is this wonderful hacienda. The staff are warm, polite, friendly, helpful. The food is outstandingly good. Incredibly clean, beautiful gardens and spacious rooms. Excellent value for money. We stayed 14 nights and did not go out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to return.

I stayed at the Fiesta Americana Hacienda San Antonio El Puente Cuernavaca for a wedding in October 2023. I am supremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. For starters, their online booking system is a nightmare. Second and most importantly, when we arrived the staff let us know we had two rooms booked for the same night, one in my name and one in my husband's name, both under my credit card. Obviously this was their doing as my husband NEVER created a second reservation, no less he would NEVER use my credit card. I kindly told the staff that this wasn't possible, that I never booked a second room for the same night, and would like to cancel this. To which they said that their cancellation policy requires that you give them 3 days notice, so they could not cancel nor refund me. How was I meant to know about the two rooms 3 days in advance, given that I never made two reservations??? We went back and forth, but they would not budge. They REFUSED to refund me even though THIS WAS NOT MY DOING! So now, I had to pay twice!!!!! What's more, they made me feel like they would handle it by the end, and NEVER told me they would actually go through with the second charge. But low and behold, my credit card statement shows charges for two rooms on the same night. Outside of this egregious experience, the rooms are just okay. We blew a fuse the first night with the hair dryer, and weren't provided robes. For the price you pay these small details go noticed. Finally, to top the experience off, we were coming back to the hacienda in the wee hours of the night after the wedding and the doors were shut and locked. We tried knocking as we heard rustling behind the door but the staff did not let us in, saying we were rude for knocking! How else were we meant to be let in?! Eventually after telling them we had kids with us, they let us in, but not after at least 10 minutes of deliberation. Overall, this experience was absolutely the WORST part about our stay in Mexico. Everything else was really great - but sadly this has tainted our experience and I can definitely say I will never return to a Fiesta Americana again.

I wish I could live inside that hotel. Such a great property. Even my friends who are used to good hotels worldwide were impressed.

We visited for a wonderful Easter buffet brunch. The food & drink stations were well stocked and offered a great variety of delicious dishes. We also enjoyed exploring the hacienda’s buildings and strolling through the gardens. It’s a picturesque place and a perfect venue for a special occasion.

Rustic with modern facilities. Great meeting rooms, breakfast area. The integrated chapel is a nice touch and guest rooms are comfortable and have a nice aged theme

Amazing place, it’s so beautiful! The only issue and concern is that they do not have a medic/physician and any medical issue could be resolved in an hour and a half or two.

I had a great time except that my suit jacket was stolen after the wedding and no one turned it into the lost and found. If that did not happen I would give 5 stars

Worth a visit, but beware of loud music until late! Good food, tidy rooms, friendly staff. Warning again: Very loud music until midnight or longer! You can't sleep until it's over. I gave 3 stars because I sleep late, so that's not a huge problem to me, but if you like to sleep early, probably not the best place for you.
