Amazing food, what an experience both Jeff and Silvia made us feel so welcome and spoilt, I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back for more culinary delights

What an amazing discovery in the secret place that is "Le Moi"! It was so much more than delicious food, it was a fantastic social experience. The access to the restaurant is adventurous and may surprise a few... Just keep going until the gps tells you "you have arrived". The restaurant location is isolated thereby giving all the privacy you may need. You can enjoy the pool, walk the space like you were at home, and join Jeff in the kitchen. We celebrated my birthday there and I could not have found a better place. We spent the entire evening and night going from beautiful, delicious, original and surprising dishes to more surprising dishes. All that in the great company of the Chef and his family that we welcomed to join us at the table. The entire dining experience (7+ courses) was designed to feel satisfied (without the use of any filler that would fill up your stomach), using local products from the sea and the land. In the lounge area, we relaxed with a cocktail and a fresh mix of finely chopped vegetables with fermented cottage cheese. After moving to the table we tasted a range of home made butters; one with ginger and sesame was truly incredible. Among other things we had a fish tartare, a blue curacao squid with a "beurre blanc", an astonishing olive oil ice cream with bacon, gold leaves and golden olive oil (the most expensive dish served in Spain we believe), a dessert with watermelon and feta cheese, and another with dragon fruit and filled chouquettes. This remote and exclusive dining experience is perfect for all kinds of occasions, and can accommodate up to about 15 people. Bring the cash and Enjoy.

Words simply cannot describe this experience. We were completely stunned about the beautiful location, filled with differently decorated lounges and tables in a quiet atmosphere. All the decorations told a story and all we needed to do was sit down and enjoy. We had a stunning 6 course meal like we never have had before. The menu was filled with different techniques and such surprising yet great flavour combinations. The welcoming atmosphere Sylvia and Jeff created for us was simply one of a kind. Worth every single penny and much much more. We spent a night that we will propably never forget! Huge thank you!

This experience was like nothing else I have ever tried. Jeff and Sylvia took you to a new level of artistic cuisine and this was the best meal I have ever had the pleasure of trying. I cannot recommend “Le Moi” highly enough. I booked an evening here for a milestone birthday for my sister while we were holidaying in Mijas and I couldn’t have asked for a better celebratory evening. It is more than just a meal, Sylvia and Jeff treat you like friends and provide a great experience. They are a great team. I emailed Sylvia A LOT before we arrived in Mijas to make the arrangements and nothing was too much trouble. Then when we arrived on the evening of our booking it was more than I could have hoped for - the setting, the food, the hospitality - all exceptional. We were a group of 11 with 5 “kids” of various ages, who absolutely loved their meal, and a vegan with quite specific likes and dislikes who also really enjoyed it. Jeff and Sylvia made every effort to make sure we had a great evening. My 8 year old held it up as her favourite night of the holiday - high praise indeed. They also made some great recommendations of other places to go while we were in the area, including Barranco Blanco, which we ended up visiting twice because the kids loved it so much. I really urge you to go here if you are in Mijas or the surrounding area and experience something special.

I took my Partner for our 1st Anniversary and we had the most wonderful time. Its a complete journey of your senses combined with the most calming oasis of the soul. Jeff and Sylvia are like long lost family and we felt instantly at home! Biggest problem for me now is how an earth I can top that treat for next years anniversary!!!

Great hospitality and superb food 😄 We had a 5-course dinner. As last time (pre-covid) the food is surprising, inventive and beautifully cooked. And both Sylvia and Jeff are such great and friendly hosts.

Never had a more perfect food experience. This is not only the food, also the service, creativity, the time Silvia and Jeff take to spoil you. You feel like e vip person. Verry friendly.

Such a great dining experience with Jeff and Sylvia, wonderful hosts in a beautiful setting. We jumped in with both feet and had the 9 course chef's table, which led to a night to remember. We'll be back.

We accidentally discovered this on Google Maps and were very intrigued and decided to contact them for more information. Sylvia was superb in guiding us through the initial process and we booked a lunch at a mutually convenient time. We weren’t sure what we would get but our instincts were positive based on our interaction with Sylvia. On arrival we were greeted by Sylvia who escorted us to the dining hall. Their place was amazing and interesting by itself and then we finally met Jeff who also was equally charming as Sylvia and the lunch that was served was delicious, extremely filling and a treat for all the senses. We were lucky enough to be the only customers so the shared experience was memorable and the only way it could have been surpassed was if we could have eaten together. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The setting, the ambiance and not least the amazing food and wonderful hosts Sylvia and Jeff, it was all perfection!

If you are looking for a culinary experience with an exceptional chief and is wife that will make you feel at home like family on top of having the chance of trying different taste discoveries. This is something you should try at least once in you’re life. We will be back as soon that travel permits. Muchas Gracias

Awesome This was the first time I have been to Jeff and Sylvia’s and it was an excellent experience. The establishment was rustic, very charming and had a great atmosphere about it. The attention to detail with even the art on the walls was worth the trip alone. You can clearly see that Jeff just loves to cook because all 7 courses were just immaculately presented and tasted superb. We were a group of three, two meat eaters and one who loved fish. This was not a problem and every dish suited our taste. We felt very comfortable at LE MOI, it’s the perfect place for gourmet food, I highly recommend it and will be returning soon.

This is highly recommended. A culinary journey with really nice surprises in taste, form, texture and appearance. Each dish is created with a ridiculous attention on detail and execution. I have travelled quite a bit over the world but have not seen and experienced this before. What makes Le Moi special is that it is not a restaurant but a private dining venue; meaning you eat at somebody’s home, so no restrictions on when to close or to open . Just go there if you like to to go for a bit of adventure.

I am not just a regular guest, but also a superfan of this hidden gem just outside La Cala. The atmosphere, the food, Jeff and Sylvia is the perfect mix for a evening to remember. I have been at this gem with golf buddies, family and even hosted a bigger dinnerparty at my wifes 40th anniwersary. I dont usually make rewievs of resturants, but this is a place i can really recomand. The picture is taken at a family dinner at LE Moi.

From the moment we received the keys of our place under the sun we were interested to spend a culinary moment at "Le Moi". And it was so worth it! Such lovely hosts; made us feel welcome instantly. And chef can make delicious dishes with a lot of creativity in every way. And the setting ... so special, so warm, so unique. We will surely visit again, as it's just around our corner. It's very unusual that you pay a lot of money for something and yet still feel completely honoured and privileged to be welcomed, as we did at Le Moi. There are special people in this world that are gifted with creative minds, beautiful souls and the ability to make others feel special, relaxed and very happy and we were lucky to find that combination here with Jeff and Sylvia. They made our night absolutely sensational, from the warm welcome and incredible setting, to the outstanding, plentiful, incredibly tasty and beautiful food. Everything about our experience was fantastic, wouldn't hesitate to recommend or come back when we can for more stories, experiences and incredible food. Thanks for having us x
