This is a fun place to hang out. They have a lot of board games you can try out. The menu is limited, but everything I had was delicious. In particular, the grilled cheese sandwich with pastrami was tasty. The cookies are quit good too.

A gem right in the middle of the city center 💎. It has a vibe where you feel comfortable, like you're at your friend's house. Amazing coffee AND cocktails, boardgames, food, good vibes, and super interesting and personable staff 😊. They have monthly events, so it's good to check those out on their Instagram 💃. Thanks for everything!

A small coffee shop in the neighborhood of American Village in Osaka! Iced coffee is always great in the summer, and the cookie is delicious too. Due to the little space in the shop, it can be a bit chaotic when it’s full with many customers for takeout. Oh they have many board games available as well.

This place is phenomenal. The coffee is better than any place I’ve been to in Japan and the owner is a super cool guy. They also have liquor and make an Incredible Hulk… my new favorite place.

What a gem of a cafe in Osaka! I have gone a few times now and the drinks are always outstanding. My new favorite is the Black Sesame Latte. The owner is super chill and a fun guy to talk to. I went today for board game Friday and he had a great collection of games that were free to play with purchase of a beverage. Overall a great place in Osaka to hang out and grab a coffee in a very convenient location. Highly recommend.

This cafe is super cute and chill. The interior is really nice and you can even write on the walls in chalk! The bartenders Erik and Kenshi are also really nice and can speak both English and Japanese. Their customer service is phenomenal! They have lots of different drinks and snacks (I'd recommend the chocolate chip cookies, they're absolutely delicious for only ¥300!!) They have many interesting books and games to play free of charge. They also have Karaoke on Thursdays for free!! Special events are also hosted like Japanese / English language exchange. It's a really nice place to chill, hang out with friends and meet lots of new and interesting people! I'll definitely be back soon 💕💕💕

Amazing coffee with a great range of alternative milks! The cafe was so chill and comforting. The barista was also incredible! She helped us with a few questions about the train lines as we had only just arrived and were very confused!

Delicious oat milk matcha lattes (vegan friendly). Fun board games to play while you sip on your latte, and the barista had awesome recommendations. Totally worth a stop!

First of all the cafe is located in the B1 where you need to get to the basement through narrow staircase which has lots of graffitis in the wall. We were shocked on how the space was. Very congested and the vibe doesn’t suit us with kids. Loud music which was quite annoying. Nevertheless, the barista was very helpful and was trying her best to accommodate us 5. We would rate 5 star for the services. We ordered black sesame latte, chai latte and cafe latte. Both black sesame and cafe lattes were ok, however, for the chai latte the taste wasn’t good. They do have some brainer games on site where you can borrow and play while having drinks. Anyway, we would advise you to go only with adults and not kids.

Excellent coffee. Very good equipment and skilled operator. Don't be afraid to walk down the stairs. It's really worth the effort. Enjoy.

Very cute little cafe in the basement. The cozy atmosphere made up for the long wait for our order. Grilled cheese sandwich was delicious and coffee was great. Saw that the cafe also holds many interesting pop up events and board game nights.

Great place to leave your significant other while you shop! The staff members were super nice, and helpful! The coffee was good, first and only dirty black sesame latte I've found in Japan. Highly recommended. The place also has a lot of games and is open late. If we weren't a hurry to go back to tokyo, I would stay longer!

What a perfect spot close to Namba station. I had some time before my train and so glad I found a place to get an oat milk matcha latte. Service was very friendly and plenty of outlets for charging your phone. If you’re from the US the vibe will feel like home

Never seen two decent espresso machines, Mahlkönig GBW E65s and a niche grinder. Espresso is excellent, hard to find places where they make good espresso, this is one place where you really can drink a good espresso! ARIGATO

Excellent board game cafe! While the selection is not massive, they have plenty of great games to choose from, including Gloomhaven, which is a weird choice. Also, get the cookies. GET THE COOKIES!!! They are excellent!

Cute little cafe in the basement. Their choco-chip cookie is really good! And the number of board games they have, you can relive your childhood memories.

Fantastic place to relax and rewind from Dotonbori! Drinks were delicious and the grilled cheese legit revived me. Highly recommend; the only disappointing thing is I couldn’t make it to the weekly smash tournaments on Wednesday :)

Great little Cafe downstairs - warm and friendly atmosphere, cheery bartender. Coffee tasted great (cappuccino) and some interesting alternative choices to (enjoyed the sesame latte pictured). Pretty big library of board games for people to pull out and enjoy. Nice place!

So lucky to have found Cafe LA during our Osaka trip! Me and my wife visited from California, and I wish they would open a branch here!!! They have so many board games, chill music, and really love the chalk drawings and notes on the wall! Eric helped make me a gin and tonic, and it was AMAZING! Feels weird to want to come back to a cafe next time we visit Japan, but we loved it that much and will definitely be back!

A place to relax in the middle of the people-swamp of Dotombori! Multi-lingual, kind, funny, and creative staff, a friendly atmosphere, fantastic prices, fresh cookies, and an amazing choice of board games to play with! What more could you ask for? Alcohol? They have that too! Cafe LA is a third place for many local foreigners too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to take a load off. They have events most nights too!

Black sesame latte is to die for 🫠🤤❤️ And I can say the same about their cookies! Great vibe to top it all off 😍 Loved this place!

Sweet spot to chill, eat, drink and attend various cool events throughout the week (including board game nights and Super Smash Nights 🎮). Food and drinks are also 👌 tasty and it's a great spot to meet travellers, especially during event nights. There's a nice board game collection too. It's well decorated and the walls are chalk which makes for a fun and collaborative hangout atmosphere 🤙

One of my new go-to places if I’m feeling bored or need to get some work done. The people are friendly and the drinks are superb. I recommend the gin and tonic or the drip coffee.

This is a one man show that is impressively run. It's a small cosy place that has a very welcoming energy to it. They serve a tomato soup as a side with their sandwiches which I highly recommend. Cafe LA has pop up stored and themed evenings several times a week. And a bunch of board games you could play.

Awesome cafe! We stopped by for good coffee in this area, and turns out to be really great! Great coffee, cozy space, friendly staff and positive energy - what more can we expect from a cafe? We had a nice conversation about Osaka with the staff guy(I guess owner) who gave us some recommendations as well. We appreciate the time he spared for us! 😀
