🫤 Coffee here is decent, it's a good stop for cold water and ice creams especially in summer, prices are reasonable and you can sit outdoor and enjoy sight of the Castle around you plus the pigeons that come very close to you... : ) People often mention service, water, coffee, good,

Food good but staff was overwhelmed! Too many of us tourists.... the staff was hot and tired and they needed more help. They were polite but it took forever to receive items. Twice my hubby just went and got our food himself. They were running the entire time.

Crema di caffe freddo: Tiny, expensive and disgusting taste. Don’t go here!

We stopped here for a break. We ordered coffee and water. We were quite surprised it only came to €7.20, this was actually the cheapest place to order water close by. So that was surprising. Coffee was good and the service was okay considering it was a busy Saturday. Not sure why the reviews are so bad. Just ask for a card or use the QR code for the menu. You can't complain about prices if you do not check the menu first.

Mediocre coffee, ignorant and weird service. You have waiters to get the order but you go stand in a queue to pay… Just avoid it

Horrible services! We ordered iced water, they gave us room temperature water. We ordered 3 waters, I have to asked for 2 times to get my 3rd bottle of water. Waitress was very rude despite they mistake our orders. Please don’t come here just to got ripped off

Great location for a break. Quinoa salad is tasteful and abundant with feta cheese and Greek olives for 10€. It is a very good deal considering that the plate is eatable! (See picture attached) Water and coffee are very cheap. Service is kind to you. Enjoy

Nice environment, but very poor service ! On 25/2/2018, the woman bartender is very impatience and bad mood at work. The woman very rude and racist, seemed not to be interested to entertain their customers. Its surprising to experience this kind of customer service in Milan, I do not recommend this place and avoid if you don't want your day ruined.

One oft the worst Café espresso we ever had and this in italy - the country of unique espresso culture. The only star is earned by the beautiful location in the castello.

Nice cafe to take a break if you are on a tour in the castle. Nice coffee and dessert . Usual very busy. One drawback is that they don’t have enough staff to clean the tables due to high turn over

I came even before museum was opened and had a cup of coffee and cookie surrounded by museum stuff. Felt great.

The food quality is terrible! Plus awful service, I was deceived by barman. They overcharged me and refused to admit the blame

Upon arriving at the restaurant, I wasn't greeted with the friendliest of welcomes and felt a little ignored, however, the quality of service greatly improved from there. We were asked to sit down, where our order of Prosecco was taken. Upon receiving our Proseccos, to our surprise, we were treated to a delicious aperitivo (highly recommended) - consisting of meats, cheese, and rice dishes. As a result, we decided to stay a lot longer than we had planned and bought two more glasses. Recommended during quiet periods.

They serve the coffee you didn’t order. Instead of apologizing they persuade you that you were wrong about your own order.

I had lunch at the place. The place itself wasn't bad but the food was supermarket bought and cooked in the microwave, both the risotto and the pasta. The price was cheap enough for Milan but we sure weren't expecting microwaved food. Also one of the waiters was a bit rude, but one other was really nice. I won't return

Great Location, but a Letdown Overall Calicantus Sforzesco boasts an amazing location, a real gem in the city. But that’s about where the good stuff stops. The staff had an attitude problem that really killed the vibe. Plus, they tried to charge us for a bottle of water we didn’t even touch. But what really took the cake was the food. We’re in Italy, so we were expecting a top-notch, freshly prepared risotto. What we got instead felt like the risotto version of instant ramen. It was clear as day this was a pre-packaged dish simply mixed with water. Our experience at Calicantus Sforzesco was a huge bummer. The great setting just can’t make up for the poor service and subpar food. My advice to anyone thinking about eating here? You might want to reconsider.

👍👍 Nice place if you fancy buying expensive but very good quality of food. I had spaghetti pasta with mozzarella buffalo cheese. It was delicious but not the cheapest. The quality of food was good though. You could buy other food from there such as vegetables, fruits, cheese, wine, alcohol, meat, pasta...
