😐 My review based on 1 visit. Old style small restaurant with typical dishes of Milan, I recommend the braised vail. The area is the Chinatown, you must run some steps there if you never did already. The service and the personnel are all what you don't expect from a city like Milan, but finally everyt... People often mention wine, excellent, dishes, cheeses, quality,

My review based on 1 visit. Old style small restaurant with typical dishes of Milan, I recommend the braised vail. The area is the Chinatown, you must run some steps there if you never did already. The service and the personnel are all what you don't expect from a city like Milan, but finally everything will work. I still remember when the owner comes out from a trap door with the wine, the same for the kitchen in front of the toilet. I little bit expensive considering the unreal, but enjoyable, atmosphere. Go there if you like the traditional and folkloristic, also you need some time... waiting your dishes from the bath... kitchen.

Good tavern in the Sarpi district. Small and cozy environment, wooden tables and bottles everywhere on the walls. Varied food and not just Friulian. Tried an appetizer of very abundant cured meats and cheeses accompanied by creamed cod. Followed by Tuscan pepper and veal cheek. At the end, an excellent panettone mouse

Giuliano is an institution. Him, his cheeses and his great wines, with a life of their own, so much so that they became the protagonists of some radio deejay gags. The specialties are obviously the platters of hard to find and very rare cured meats and cheeses, which he personally chooses from small producers and from the Lyon market, the tartare; even the first courses are worthy of note, the various Milanese ravioli and risottos and the Friulian Cjarsons, not to mention Paolino's desserts: the three chocolate cake is a must! The great wines and cheeses are in the infamous trap door, 10 meters below sea level. The outdoor area is a new entry and is very nice!

After hearing so much about this place last night we decided to try the restaurant. Old-fashioned tavern, simple but welcoming, with a truly important and high-quality selection of cheeses and cured meats. The only problem concerns the hot dishes on the menu: the restaurant does not have a kitchen but a closet where the bizarre owner, in addition to serving tables, locks himself inside to enjoy himself in the "cooking". In fact, the dishes are CLEARLY reheated and not freshly prepared, which makes them unappetizing. Cleanliness to be reviewed. After asking for explanations, the owner denied it with an angry attitude. Non-existent wine list, the wine list is him and without prices displayed. The positive reviews boasted on social media are incomprehensible. If I had wanted a reheated meal I would have happily stayed at home. I strongly advise against it!

The restaurant is small (six tables), the atmosphere is very pleasant (bottles of wine everywhere) and the owner is a very typical Friuli man. Cheeses, salami and hams from different regions are the main reason to visit it. Very tasty also risotto with saffron, ravioli with Castel Magno cheese and troffie. It’s better to call in advance: sometimes it’s closed at launch

(Translated by Google) Old fashioned and cozy place. Friendly staff and the quality of the Italian / French cheese and salami platters is excellent. They also offer small jazz concerts. If you are passing through these parts it is definitely worth trying. (Original) Locale vecchio stile e accogliente. Personale alla mano e la qualità dei taglieri di formaggi e salumi italiani/francesi è eccellente. Propongono anche piccoli concerti di musica jazz. Se si è di passaggio da queste parti è sicuramente da provare.

(Translated by Google) Small traditional-style venue with a family-like and welcoming atmosphere. The food, excellent, ranged from the Friulian tradition to other dishes of the Italian culinary culture but the result remains etched in the memories. Il cibo, ottimo, spaziava dalla tradizione friulana ad altri piatti della cultura culinaria italiana ma il risultato resta inciso nei ricordi.

(Translated by Google) Rather rustic, small and cozy place. On the menu you will find typical dishes, and more. Expect attentive but somewhat naive service. If you want the wine list, ask Giuliano, he is the wine list... tell him the dishes you ordered and he will recommend the best! He's a phenomenon...he supports Inter but he's a sporty Milanese, and he's honest with his prices considering the excellent quality of the food! First time and I'll be back!
