Great meeting area , with wide selection of restaurants close by. Impressive art work looks like a lot with the one in Paris. There is very big park with lakes and the option of renting bikes and explore nearby areas. Really enjoyed my walk over there.

The Arco della Pace is a magnificent triumphal arch in Milan, located in a large plaza next to the Sempione Park. It has sculptures of soman Roman gods and other beautiful ornaments. It's surrounded by many restaurants, coffee shops and a beautiful park which makes this a great place to relax.

This is a very lovely Arch it’s very interesting and its architecture is very nice. The engravings are very detailed and it’s in a public place so it free to visit. This was a nice place to stop by and look around. I enjoyed checking out the arch and the surroundings.

Wow... and the best thing is that it is located in a beautiful platform and small amphitheater where you can sit and enjoy the masterpiece, its lighting and the surrounding atmosphere... We were lucky that someone was playing a live music ... On the other side is a street full of restaurants and coffee shops

Nice monument at the edge of a big park in milan. The Arc is smaller than the one in Paris but still very impressive and the area around it is nice to hang out in. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants around if you are hungry.

I must admit that it is my favorite monument in Milan. It is located in a beautiful area, close to the green lung of the city! The architecture of the building is really very interesting. I recommend, to those who are interested in architecture, to go right next to the monument to catch some very interesting details.

Stunning arch. Pics, videos wouldn't do justice. It has to be seen. Surrounded by beautiful parks, gardens, historical buildings, museums it's one of Milan's major meeting place. No to be missed.

Massive building. I was impressed of the size, it's really huge! The trace left by Napoleon Bonaparte in Milan. Behind the triumphal arch you will find the beautiful Parco Sempione, and Castello Sforzesco, which I also highly recommend to visiting!!!

Great views in the park, read the wiki page when you're there to understand what it used to be like and for, it's a lovely sight to see and there's shade around to sit and admire the views! Definitely worth checking out and going to see if you have the time. Photos speak louder than words so check out what you can see!

Great city , with the mixture of modernity and history , amazing port and fantastic foods. I will travel to Geneva again for sure. One of the biggest aquarium in Europe is in this city and you can visit a lot of fishes and dolphin there. Also it has a train tour for the historical part of the city and you can visit the city by that. Again don't forget the amazing food here.

Veryyy nice place to visit in Milan. Very lively. Lots of people were there, but it wasn't too crowded. Looked quite like the brandenburg gate in Berlin.

Porta Sempione ("Simplon Gate") is a city gate of Milan, Italy. The name is used both to refer to the gate proper and to the surrounding district (quartiere), a part of the Zone 1 division (the historic city centre), including the major avenue of Corso Sempione. The gate is marked by a landmark triumphal arch called Arco della Pace ("Arch of Peace"), dating back to the 19th century, although its origins can be traced back to a gate of the Roman walls of Milan.

Impressive arch, beautiful details if you study it for a few minutes. It’s at the opposite end of the park where the Sforzesco castle is located, surrounded by a large square with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, so you can enjoy a break after a walk in the park or at the castle.

Visit on a sunny day, and you get stunning views. There was a band busking, and lots of places to sit on the stone to just take it in. Lovely after a walk through the Sforza castle and the park.

A masterpiece of its time, if you're in Milan, you definitely have to see this work of art! The sculptors of the past truly accomplished masterpieces here. The figures carved in marble are so lifelike that it's unbelievable how such intricate details were able to be achieved. The artistry and craftsmanship on display are truly impressive, and it's clear that a great deal of skill and care went into creating these sculptures. Visiting this place is a unique experience that allows you to immerse yourself in history and appreciate the beauty of art. The attention to detail in the sculptures is truly remarkable, and it's incredible to see how they have stood the test of time. Whether you're an art enthusiast or simply looking for a fascinating sight to see, this work of art is a must-see.

We stopped by here after walking through the park from the Sforzesco castle. What an amazing arch! When we were there it had a large golden art piece surrounding the bottom section. It's a temporary marketing piece for Bvlgari. It's amazing to stand there and look at all the tiny intricate details.

Best place for passing time The gate is marked by a landmark triumphal arch called Arco della Pace ("Arch of Peace"), dating back to the 19th century, although its origins can be traced back to a gate of the Roman walls of Milan. The area surrounding Porta Sempione is a prominent historic district of Milan. The district also includes part of Corso Sempione, a large avenue leading to Porta Sempione from the northwest. Some of the most important streets in the area are Via Canonica, Via Luigi Cagnola, Via Abbondio Sangiorgio, Via Mario Pagano, Via Agostino Bertani, Via Antonio Canova, and Via Francesco Melzi d'Eril. Via Melzi d'Eril and Via Antonio Canova form a half circle concentric to Piazza Sempione.

Arco della Pace is one of the most important neoclassical landmarks in the city. This is a very nice area, especially for running, hanging out and enjoying the evenings. There are so many excellent bars and restaurants here, but they do tend to be on the expensive side. Arco della Pace is also adjacent to Parco Sempione, arguably the most important park in the city.

It's a very nice place to have a walk nearby sempione park and Moscova; here you can find lots of pubs in which you could have an happy hour with around 12 /15 € with buffet solutions ( but actually many pubs offers table service as consequence of pandemic to garantee a safety solution). It's a chic area, so you will find many sofisticate pubs and restaurants, so if you are looking for a cheap drink or meal maybe you have to search carefully around. Good luck!
