Exhibitions in excellent quality! The place is spacious and has its own historical values. I visited here for the Monet exhibition and it is awesome. The price is more expensive comparing to other museums in Milan but it's worth to see. I hope they continue to have more exhibitions so that I can visit often.

Went on Saturday and was told the exhibitions are free. Loved the paintings and the sculptures exhibitions. The building itself is well preserved and loved the wall colors and all the molding and sculpture details. We were very surprised that there were barely anyone there and it’s right next to one of the busiest cathedrals. it’s such a good escape from the crowd and the heat.

Located right next to the Duomo, Palazzo Reale is some sort of an exhibition center. But not well managed

I visited the Cathedral Museum as it was included in the entrance fee to the Cathedral and I had time. I honestly didn't like it, I found it rather boring and the various statues are also very badly arranged...if you have time it is okay to visit it, but not surely a must!

Wonderful museum and exhibition inside when we came. A short line to get tickets on the left side, advanced payment of ticket would be more easy! Great to see the exhibit, you can get the ticket for all three; museum, duomo di Milano and rooftop access to Milano cathedral - 15€ per person!

Museum of the Duomo was a little underwhelming. Many pieces of sculptures, paintings and tapestries from the duomo sadly offered without context. There's small plaques but no real sense of what the objects are and why they came to be there. Expected to find a comprehensive history of the design and craft of the Duomo but it was more like a collection of sculptures no longer on the actual church. Also to be noted there's a random rule of silence and an aggressive (and ironically noisy) member of staff follows you around and barks at you to be quiet while you're looking at marble sculptures from the roof of a church (may I add, a church that doesn't seem to mind talking) which gave a very odd atmosphere to the whole thing. Giving it 3 stars overall because the disappointment was with the Museum, not the Royal Palace in general.

It typically has excellent exhibitions. Last week I visited the Monet, and even better, the magical realist exhibitions. The former had an excellent collection and had taken a couple of interesting perspectives (en plein nature and the use of light by Monet), but the second one was a beautiful scholarly your through an exciting 2 decades of Italian art.

Lovely area just to the side of Duomo cathedral. We stopped for a bit of a rest in a lovely little bar/restaurant. Ordered a couple of beers, which came with a few picky dishes. Nice area to just take a rest and take in the scenery and people watch

Palazzo Reale formerly Palazzo del Broletto Vecchio, was for many centuries the seat of the government of the city of Milan, the Kingdom of Lombardo-Veneto and then royal residence until 1919, when it was acquired in the realm becoming the seat of exhibitions and exhibitions. You can go there, visit a free exhibition and explore it at its best in just 30’, or plan a complete visit lasting half a day. Do not miss it in Milan

very nice exhibition, friendly staff, easily accessible; not enough room for motorised wheelchairs or mid to wide wheelchairs; not 100% child appropriate (unless kid/s interested in sculptures and church art)

Palazzo Reale is the palace which has multiple exhibitions from time to time. It is better to buy tickets for the particular exhibition you want to attend in advance (online) so that you can skip the line. Some of the exhibitions can be free of cost too. It is a nice experience.

I only say the temporary Monet exhibition, which was good. I am a big Monet fan and I saw many exhibitions of his art. This was not the best, but since the paintings were new for me, I am rating it 5*.

everyone waiting to exit, but 2 Russians? skip the line. and i said, wait line, but they say no one said it. they are blind? Asian are loose? No. European are more selfish!

Venue for some of the most important temporary exhibitions of internationally renowned, mostly classical artists. Not to miss, the beautiful "Sala delle Cariatidi", the grand ballroom that has been damaged in the second world war and has been only partially restored, giving it a decadent allure.

Very lovely architecture. Reminds me of an elderly vibe. Very calm and peaceful. Many scammers like all touristy areas! Nearly everyone speaks English which is very helpful. Open space as-well that links to a lot of touristy places. Was very great and very historical. Would recommend visiting.

If you have a disability you get in for free!! I have crutches and I was allowed to go in for for free. The place is huge and for kids they would get bored quickly. But it tells you the history of building of the Duomo. The staff is super friendly and nice. Like I stated above, if you have little ones or kids they would get bored real quick.

Make a reservation if you want to see the monet exhibition. Waited for 2 hours to get in, while people with reservation usually got in within 20 mins. The exhibition was alright but nothing special.
