Summary: Unreceptive manager, quite delusional and made racist comments. Incomplete service, yet charging €3 per head Disappointing overall experience, not worth the money. Comment on experience : The menu offered many choices and gave us high expectations of the food. We went in and ordered the Spinach ricotta ravioli, Milanese Risotto and Sliced steak Fassona. The food came at a reasonable speed and we were happy with our first courses, but during the meal we had to ask for bread, and the steak arrived really early, before we even started to have our first courses. The first courses were slightly above average with good flavour and portion, but the sliced steak Fassona was sat here for so long that it went cold. So we flagged the waiter and asked for this to be "heated" (whereas steaks should never be heated as it is common sense where you heat steak you would overcook it), which actually meant re-fire one. (originally we asked for medium rare) That same plate came back dry, uncooked and totally disappointing. We then asked for a new one directly, and the dish came back as medium well, whereas it should have been medium rare... We were too hungry so we still ate it, but left one slice and asked for the manager. When informed about the issues, the manager was very defensive and did not take customer input in a serious manner, she reiterated multiple times that we didn't ask for courses to be separated (as she "assumed" foreigners would have courses at the same time, which came over as a quite racist comment), and said that we didn't ask for a re-fire the first time. (I did try to explain a re-heated steak means a re-fired steak as you can't cook steaks twice but she insisted that it was my fault not to directly ask for one) She also did not appreciate the comment about the need to ask for bread ,whereas in Italy(or italian restaurants), bread should be served directly to the table right from the start. Overall, the problem was mostly not the food, the service and management were the issues.

We had ossobuco and also cotoletta alla milanesa for main meal. Ossobuco taste really yum 🤤 however portions is really big i would suggest to share this. Cotoletta well it’s like schnitzel but very dry. For dessert we had tiramisu, it’s ok a bit too sweet for us but still yummy. Restaurant is located at the famous navigli canal, nice view and great place to chill.

FYI reservations have to be made to be able to sit inside the restaurant. Otherwise you can only eat at the terrace. Very flavorfull pasta dishes but the winner is most definitely their Milanese Risotto with Ossobuco. Dont forget to order their home made Tiramisu! Its truly divine!

We read really bad reviews of this place, but it was the only one open for lunch around 17:00 and we were hungry. We only took vegetarian food- Milanese risotto and tomato sauce pasta. The dishes were ok, much better than we expected. But, the food was not worth the price and the staff wasn’t friendly at all. Would not come back, but not too bad.

Food is average, good enough for the area. They charge 3€ coperto for ... a napkin, that's all you get. This is disappointing, most of the other places around offer you at least something. Service was good.

Terrible place. My wife and I (Asian American newlyweds here for honeymoon) asked to be seated (around 18:15) for drinks/water, but the waitress (white shirt) denied us and curtly told us that they were closed. Mind you that there were 4-5 other tables already seated enjoying drinks and antipasti. After our encounter, 4 other groups approached her (Caucasian/white). She seated them right away. I don’t want to assume that she was being discriminatory but we felt that she was rude. Would not recommend.

Sub-par service and sub-par food. With of all the restaurants along the river in Milan, I expected some better competition. After waiting 10 minutes to get water, I flagged down one of the staff who said someone was coming. Over 5 minutes later, finally someone came to take my order and, other than the person that brought the food, I never saw anyone again. In fact, I had to ask the patrons next to me how to get my check. They informed me that they had to ask and were told that they should just go inside, explain which table they were at, and pay there. The food, whock looked good, was overcooked and bland. Very disappointing for my first meal in Italy...at an Italian restaurant.

This lovely trattoria set on the edge of of of the beautiful canals of Navigli was a wonderful place to stop and experience Milan. A must to go and enjoy! We ordered a cheese platter that was amazing and then pasta and ravioli dishes that were delicious....the prices were reasonable and the service was good.

Cottoleta with potatoes is amazing, very tasty and large portion price is okay. I recommend Primitivo de Salento dry wine, the best one.

Food was very good but I would not recommend seat outside. The flies were a problem while we were eating and the smell of cigarettes were not very pleasant either. I had the ossobuco with milanese risotto. Absolutely fantastic

Nice, authentic, reasonably priced and tasty food. Two of us dropped in for dinner following my wish to enjoy some Italian. Found this restaurant just a few minutes walk from our flat in Milan. All our dishes were very very delicious. There were many more on the menu we would have liked to taste. Good place to visit if you are in Milan.

So many restaurants in Milan we’re lucky to find this! The Osso Bucco was incredible and the atmosphere lovely. Wish we could come back because the next table looked delicious too.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience here. One of the staffmembers was shouting at us when I questioned the bill. The food was also not the best. It was bland and dry. The bread was stale. I’m definitely not coming here again. Save your money and don’t visit this place

We waited over an hour to be served our main meal, despite asking servers several times about our delayed order. Nobody seemed to do anything about it and kept us waiting without an apology. Our dishes were not very nice - the mushrooms in the pasta were overcooked and the risotto tasted strange. Would recommend looking elsewhere for a better experience.

Any place that plays ac/dc on the pa gets an extra star from me. Small restaurant with a truly homely feel. Bowl of pasta was plentiful and very tasty, and the service was faultless. Even without AC/DC it would be a 5 star review.

I was traveling with few friends when we stopped by this amazing restaurant. Staff were very flexible with our order. Service was outstanding and people were so friendly. Food was super delicious, I have never tried as delicious as their Mushroom Pasta, Risotto and Pumpkin Ravioli. I would love to visit again! 👍🏻

Good food, fresh pasta and honest prices for the location. Nice staff, but the order took too long to get to the table. Still worth to try.

Quite average experience. The taste was a below average but the price and portion size were better than average so it's okay. The location is very touristy and it's not a rip off or anything, just nothing special either. Service did a good job considering how busy it gets here. Would recommend for those who want to eat dinner in navigli but not spend a fortune. Could have given 3* as well but I'm in a good mood today.

Great pasta and overall good lunch. Just a bit difficult to have the waiter's attention when the restaurant started to get busy.

The food at Luca e Andrea is delicious and the people watching is nice along the water! My husband had the Il sempre presente ossobuco di vitello con risotto alla Milanese and it was just the risotto he was looking for. I had the Tagliatelle zucchine, salvia e pancetta di "Parma" croccante and it was amazing! The pasta tasted freshly made. There was a balance of flavors between the zucchini and pancetta (bacon) where the zucchini absorbed the flavor of the pancetta almost making it seem like there was more pancetta than there was without the dish being too salty. Even though the pasta was substantial, it did not feel too heavy on the stomach. I am still craving this dish two days later. Delicious!

Very good service and nice food. The Ossobucco is so much, my boyfriend couldn't even sat it all! Highly recommend this place, cannot understand why it has negative reviews!

loved the food and spaghetti & sauce were so fresh. atmosphere was also nice as it’s along naviglio grande. tiramisu was also so good. it’s heavier on the mascarpone rather than the cake.

I had really high expectations for this place based on the reviews but was underwhelmed. Had the tagliatelle with ham and zucchini. It was a bit too salty for my taste but the tagliatelle was cooked well. Their wine options are limited if you're ordering by the glass. It was either a white dry wine or prosecco or 2 types of red wine. The bread was also very boring in my opinion. Very cute atmosphere and views of the canal though. Would be great for date night.

Very nice Italian food. Café full of Italian people for lunch... and us! We had the parmigiana of the day, a delight! Also tasted the gnocchi, very good. If you are on a trip on the navigli of Milano at lunch time you should stop there.

I am Italian and I can easily say that this is the best risotto with Ossobuco I have ever had in my life! Hard to describe by words, you simply must go and try. Also, very fine prices. Totally recommended!

Very good food and very generous portions. Nice atmosphere, relaxed, friendly and fast service. Maybe just a little bit too salty risotto for my taste (but another glass of wine fixed that 😊)

We visited in the evening for aperitivo. You can enjoy drink and assortment of small things at reasonable price. We liked Aperol spritz very much!

Food is simple but tasty. They have yellow tiramisu which is great. Do expect a quick bite and turnaround, not a long and relaxed dinner.

Poor service; waiter had an attitude. No seat on the toilet in the men's room. Food was poor, tagitelli with mushrooms had a poor taste. The restaurant is full of fishing decor but they service no fish, seems odd. The server may us feel like he was doing us a favor.
