The hotel is nice and modern. No AC for some ecological excuse. Guest service was okay to good..Use of the pool by appointment only, weird schedules, the restaurant was good and expensive. I enjoyed my stay here. It's very dangerous to walk alone in the nearby street tunnel if you are trying to catch public transportation. No recommend for solo females to be around by themselves. If you want breakfast you need to bring your wallet as they charge you right there, they don't want to charge you that to your room. Extremely ridiculous.

We want to leave a negative review. We checked in on the evening of September 22, 2023. From the moment of check-in, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Firstly, the cleanliness of the hotel lobby was highly concerning. Faced with the peak check-in on a Friday, the performance and attitude of the staff were very amateurish, which gave us a very poor experience and caused inconvenience. Due to the negligence of the reception, some of our reasonable requests (including inquiring about the possibility of upgrading the room at our own expense, adding breakfast, and whether it's possible to put expenses on another colleague's room) were seen by the staff as troublesome. This led to my colleague having to get out of bed after falling asleep to go downstairs and complete the payment. As an international brand, I find it difficult to accept such a style of decoration, especially in Milan, the fashion capital.

I travel 250 days a year around the world and I am an ambassador level at IHG and this is only my second review of a hotel. This hotel was a beautiful business hotel with great rooms, great food, but there was one major problem - the air conditioning. It was only around 75 to 80 outside but the room felt like it was 120. My wife and I were sweating and we couldn’t sleep. I had read the other reviews about the horrible air conditioning, but didn’t believe that it would be that bad, but it was! We complained and they claimed they would fix it, but nothing was corrected and it was a horrible three nights. Please trust the reviews about the air conditioning. They are accurate, and if you value air conditioning then do not stay here. You have been warned.

The hotel is isolated and the bar closes early. The design is confused and uncomfortable. A lot of expensive and unnecessary curved features which would have been better spent in creating welcoming spaces. The restaurant is too vast and not very intimate, the swimming pool area is small and you have to book in advance. The A/C is set too low and the rooms are freezing cold as you can’t switch it off when you live the room. No toilet door and no hooks for the towels. I found hairs and nuts on the floor. Really not impressed.

Everything is good, but one “but” changes the impression. In the rooms there is laminate flooring everywhere, which is slippery. I slipped and hurt my knee, it’s been 2 weeks now and it still hurts. I was also surprised that to visit the gym you need to book a visit time and receive a separate key, which was not communicated upon arrival at the hotel. For a long time they didn’t want to give me the key so I could take a look Is it worth spending time to visit the gym and swimming pool As a result, when I was given the key and visited these places, there was no one there at all. As I understand it, the hotel’s policy is to prevent people from going there, so that there will be less costs for cleaning this area

Hygiene: 4/5 Service: 1/5 Location: 2/5 My family and I stayed at this hotel in July. Unfortunately, the location was quite far from the city center, and there was no shuttle bus service from MXP Airport. Even reaching the central station, it took around 30 minutes by tram to get to the nearest tram stop, and we had to walk an additional 6 minutes. The path to the tram stop felt a bit unsafe as there were a few suspicious teenagers hanging around, but thankfully, nothing happened to us. The room itself had an unusual setup, with a glass shower room in the center of the room without any door, making it more suitable for couples than families. We encountered constant issues with the room card, especially while using the lifts. The lift required us to swipe the card to access our designated floor, supposedly for security reasons, but this setup caused inconveniences. The receptionist we approached for help was rude and impatient, blaming us for swiping the card too fast or for the lifts being busy. He also suggested that our cards might have been affected by being too close to our phones. Unfortunately, he did not assist us and directed us to use the cargo lift instead. The next day, we approached another receptionist and found out that it is the card problem. Adding to our frustrations, when we tried to access our room with the card, it failed to work. We had to return to the front desk and ask for a technician's help. Eventually, the technician discovered that the door lock was out of power and needed battery replacement. Overall, if you're planning a holiday in Milan, I would not recommend this hotel due to its location and the various inconveniences and issues we experienced during our stay.

The hotel itself is quite nice & modern but the service is just very very poor. When we arrived 4 elevator out of 5 were not working. The speed & quality of the reception were very low. The breakfast was good. I had to request for an invoice few weeks after our stay in the place and here again it was a nightmare to get it. Something you usually get with an e-mail or a quick phone call from most of the hotels became a frustrating experience. So my recommendation is to avoid it if you can.

I had a 4 days trip in milan, very nice welcoming at the reception, restaurant was very good as well special thanks to Matei who was present during our whole stay (restaurant, bar, room service) he was able to be friendly, fast, and professional all at once we had a very pleasant stay at Voco milan thanks to him, I would like to thanks also the housekeeping team for cleaning a broken glass and our left over food from Uber eats in a discreet maner. Thanks to all the Voco team once more.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I travel extensively and have never written a review but the stay here was so bad I had the urge to let others know. Avoid at all cost if you care about the little things that make a stay comfortable, like working telephones in the room to call downstairs, or perhaps a tv, or a non-leaky faucet!! It does not end. Also you have to pay to use their dirty pool with locked change rooms. The worst.

Title: A Disappointing Experience Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel, and I must say it was far from what I expected. To put it bluntly, I found very few redeeming qualities during my stay. First and foremost, the facilities were old and outdated. The entire place seemed in desperate need of a renovation. The room I was assigned had a dated and unattractive design that did not make for a pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the shower in my room was nothing short of a disappointment – it had poor water pressure and inconsistent temperature control. Cleanliness was a significant issue throughout my stay. The room did not feel adequately cleaned, and I noticed dust in various corners. The state of cleanliness extended to the swimming pool, which was not only cold but also appeared neglected and unclean. It was far from inviting. The staff, regrettably, did not provide a positive impression either. Their attitude was indifferent at best, and they did not seem genuinely interested in assisting guests. It was clear that they lacked the enthusiasm and professionalism that one would expect from a hotel's staff. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The quality of the food was subpar, and the limited selection left much to be desired. It was far from the enjoyable and satisfying breakfast experience I have had at other hotels. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel was marred by old and poorly maintained facilities, a lackluster staff attitude, a poorly designed room, an unsatisfactory shower, and a swimming pool that was far from inviting. The breakfast also left much to be desired. I would strongly recommend considering other accommodation options in the area before booking a stay at this hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for our first trip to Milan with my family of 4, we had two separate rooms that were not connecting but beside each other. The service at the reception and restaurant was fantastic and professional. The buffet breakfast also had a very decent selection of food with plenty of seats. Room was very clean and nice, location also very good and very near to a newly opened mall Merlata Bloom with many options for eating. The only thing we didn’t like is the bathroom in the room doesn’t have a proper door that closes. And it’s transparent so not very suitable if you’re not a couple or like my two daughters who stayed in the same room and would have preferred more privacy when they are bathing 😝

Nice hotel. It's a great luxury hotel from the outside, but from the inside its a little cramped. The breakfast wasn't great as there weren't too many selections, the room we stayed in was a bit cramped and the shower was in the middle of the room. The location was pretty nice though. From the higher floors, it had a nice view from the massive window, and there was a bus and tram station not too far away. My stay was a generally above average experience. Could be improved though.

Very surprised IHG would put their brand on this hotel. Travelling europe for months this is easily the worst hotel we’ve stayed at. Staff are odd and rude, nothing works like the doors or telephones in either of our rooms, food is awful (the breakfast made us all sick) and the spa and sauna aren’t open till 5pm (which is the weirdest penny pinching move I’ve seen in Italy to date). This place is a 3 star hotel at best. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!

The hotel looks new, modern and nice. However, the staff are rude, not friendly at all and even they don’t put a smile on their face when you greet them! Even the guy who helped us with the luggage it seemed that he was forced too. If there is one single reason not to be back at this hotel it will be because of the attitude of the staff. Except the lady at the breakfast buffet she was nice and helpful. The other disadvantage is the toilet and shower, it might be suitable for couples but not for families and friends. Location wise, it is a bit far from Milan city center.

Positives : Great staff, decent international breakfast buffet, nice bar area, rooms are modern and a good size with quiet Aircon and a decent sized shower and bathroom area. Beds were comfortable. Negatives : it really is in the middle of nowhere . The spa/swimming pool area is a joke. The pool is the size of three hot tubs, you can't swim in it. The spa pool was closed for maintenance. There are no towels available and none of the lockers in the changing area actually lock. You have to book through reception, then go and collect a key, then take the key back again. What a palava. In the room the TV was hopeless. Half a dozen channels with very poor satellite coverage so the picture kept breaking up. There was no sign of any room servicing going for the few days I was there despite leaving the "please service my room" hanger on the door whilst I was out all day.

Rooms faces the busiest highway of Europe, the Rooms albeit look nicely design, are very aged, there is mould everywhere in the bath area, floors are marked or stained. The place definitely need a refurb. It had free parking when I was there, but that would not compensate for the water not working properly and me not having cold water in the bathroom or for the AC controls being off and me sweating the whole nights of my stay in June. IHG status enabled me to get an upgrade but i had to reject it to avoid the highway and the bext room was full of mould. The lack of lifts (3 only) in this 19 floor venue. I cannot recommend this hotel

Awful experience at this hotel. I cannot believe this is even a 4 star hotel because I have stayed in 3 stars with better service. The hotel booked us an airport transfer with a driver and gave us a price. The driver almost took us to wrong airport, treated us horribly for his mistake and charged thrice of the agreed amount. The hotel told us they would look into it and to write them an email for a refund which we did and now they’re ignoring our emails and calls. So utterly disgusting. Regarding the hotel itself our washrooms didn’t work for a whole morning on one day so terrible all around.

In general we liked the hotel: nice breakfasts and unusual room design. But it was very cold in the room. We turned off the air conditioner, but it started working again when we were not in the room. Asked to fix the situation, but the master did not fix anything. Unfortunately, now my boyfriend feels sick because of this 🥺

Challenges while arriving, i.e. wrong room assigned, AC not working, but director tried to solve it ex-post, so overall service experience was good. Rooms are nice but in one the AC didn’t work, so we had to change. Hotel was good located to the highway.

I had an incredible stay with my family in the last days! We got an upgrade due to my premium elite status. Vitor and Jessica from the reception were really amazing and helped us through the check in and with our questions. Nice rooms, nice spa, good parking conditions. You may need about 30 minutes by tram to the city, but for us it was easy to reach. Nice to see such a great hotel. We enjoyed also the SPA, which is really enough for 1 or 2 hours to stay. Glad to stay again in this amazing hotel

I stayed in this hotel for one night with my husband, and i must say i have been disappointed, the rooms have no air conditioning, the shower could not even reach an enough hot temperature, no cleanliness, all stain over the washing area, and the showering handle was all black from dirt! No internal coordination among the colleagues, and don't bring your food because they won't be. Even able to provide you a heating system. And no soundproof room so that your privacy can get easily leaked. it's such a big new property but the standards are not in equality.

As a whole, hotel sounds good. as for location: if you rent a car, then no issue. if not, then choose another one as you have to pay a budget to reach City center. most hotels in far areas have shuttle bus but not this one. Now For elevators: it's totally bad service. who's the genius to make operation for these elevators in this way? the elevators are programmed and operated by card only. literally you'll waste half of your life waiting the elevators as only 2 elevators are working and the third one is none to save some power (money) without any attention or care to clients time. and if you change your mind inside the elevators then you have to go out and swap your card again and wait the next bus (elevator). the purpose of elevators in hotels should be provide fast, simple and safe service not stupid service!?

The hotel is outstanding about artistic pieces all around the hotel, the rooms are big and very clean! There is one area for play: billiard, darts, arcade games, pinball, etc. Breakfast is 15€ per person but it is worthy! Staff is amazing!

Super awful experience . Flooding outside of room the whole of the hallway stunk of damp / maybe sewage . The staff are so incredibly rude make you feel so uncomfortable especially being a woman. The pool is tiny . I wouldn’t say suitable for families . I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but honestly couldn’t let this one go . Was such an awful experience and I have stayed at other IHG hotels before . Honestly don’t stay here especially if you’re a woman / maybe a British thing ?

The breakfast was alright, with there being average pastries and cakes/sweets along with Italian Nutella. On the ground floor there were fun pinball machines and on the second night we stayed a ‘street fighter’ old-fashioned video game, overall it was a fairly worn room but a large one because we are diamond members with IHG so we got a suite! The location was a bit confusing but overall a good location! Thanks Voco!

I left with a kind of double feeling about the hotel. I can't say that is good, but also that is so bad. I don't know, we were the 3rd time there and now the first time under new name, owners. The reception floor was nice redisigned, the staff is friendly. But in the room the door of the toilet was not possible to close without pushing it with all the power. The shower was clean, the toilet room not enough. They ask to hang the towels if we want to reuse, but was a challenge to find were to hang 2 big towels. The towels were good. Very comfortable bed, but with so noisy, loud blanket and pillows, we almost were afraid to move in night. In the restaurant the food was very tasty, but waited 1 hour for it. And that was disturbing, this double feelings from being there. May be it needs more time to reorganise everything, but it was the first time when we thought that may be next time when we come to exhibition we can try what's more around, even I can't say that it was so bad.

Professional design and beautiful decoration. Rooms are spacious. Be careful to include breakfast to your room. They usually offer good prices, much better than city center hotels. As we had a car, I don't know about accessibility via public transportation.

At first glance the hotel is very impressive. Nice reception area with modern design, beautiful rooms, "smart" elevators, gorgeous pool. But then everything broke down. 20 minute waits for the elevator, turned away by the restaurant because it was too busy, no blankets in the room, and a 15 euro charge to use the pool or workout room. I would not stay here again.

I lived here for two months and it felt like home. Perhaps the finest front of house staff in any hotel in recent memory as no request goes unfulfilled and no ask is too difficult. Comfortable beds, solid cooking in the restaurant. It’s a real gem.

Excellent hotel that’s part of the IHG network. Check in was quick and easy. Bar staff was funny and very helpful. Restaurant offered room service that was very well prepared. Front desk got us a taxi with 5 minutes on 3 separate occasions. Best hotel in Rome.

Clean, quiet and functional rooms, good food at the restaurant however location and extra charges are disappointing because it’s not cheap to start with It’s a first 4star hotel i had to pay extra to use the pool/ gym facilities. I stayed 3 nights in this hotel and enjoyed it. It's a big modern building with spacious hall. Easy to access next to motorway. The room was big and clean. You can park easily and 10 minutes walking from hotel, you can catch the tramway that takes you straight to city center in about 45 minutes (you can buy ticket at reception). Breakfast was good with great coffee and restaurant cooks nice food. The staff was really friendly. Only tiny little minus is that, due to size of hotel, buses of tourists are coming so check-in can be long

  • 3/5 A Y. 1 year ago on Google
Staff are very friendly but it felt like they missed on providing information and sometimes miscommunicated as well regarding the gym and swimming times. Not quite a fan of the "open-style" bathroom and decor. Lacks warmth and the green wardrobe makes it a little childish. Could do with a better clean. Shower head was quite disgusting but we got another room. Breakfast was faultless although I did miss not having baked beans. Bar and restaurant area are nice. Swimming pool could use some more attention and the whirlpool area.. no real access to it, not very disabled friendly or for those with mobility issues.

Nice design/architecture but the service doesn't really match that. * For 2 people in the room we had one set of consumables - and for the last day, we didn't even get a second round of single use plastic glasses, since we had to throw the other ones after 2 days... * Room doesn't really seem to get the steam out, unless you open the window, which can be very unpleasant in the winter. * The receptionist tried to sell us the 15€/day parking from the hotel, saying that it was a bad neighborhood to leave the car in the parking across the street (which was free). 4 days later = car was fine. * The bed was really uncomfortable; both of us were complaining about back pain. probably the cheapest mattresses on the market. * There was a fissure on the wall from top to bottom, makes you feel like you are really getting what you paid for. I'm really sorry i didn't take a picture of it. I wouldn't recommend unless it's the last resort to book something.

Beautiful and ultra modern interior through out the hotel. Nice huge lobby and restaurant. The rooms however is badly designer to me due to its ultra modern design which is not practical. The rooms look like a hospital room, the bed is too low, the sink is too small, the built in unit is not practical. The shower is see thru glass, no privacy if you are staying with someone and without a door. The breakfast was great, good selections of delicious food and fresh beverages. The location is not so great if you don't have a car. Other than that its a nice hotel.

Rooms were way too warm in March, airco was not switched on (not possible to switch on according to reception) and windows could only be opened a few centimeters, not enough to cool down. 2 stars - not 1 - because the hotel is very nice for the rest! But in the end sleep quality is the number 1 thing you expect from a hotel.

The Whole hotel has a modern, creative design. There is WiFi, albeit not the fastest, and there is a wonderful sky terrace, and pool. The room itself is designed interestingly, the shower does not have a door and is open to the whole room, but it works. The breakfast was amazing, including many meats and breads in addition to continental items, I was very impressed.

Nice and interesting design, the rooms were good too, staff were mostly friendly especially the reception manager and the restaurant manager at breakfast. Remembered us from previous morning and had our preferred coffees ready as soon as we arrived. 10/10 for him. The down side is it costs €15 to use the wellness facilities (gym, pool etc) and it’s only for a limited time and specific times of the day. For a facility like this, it should be included for guests.

The hotel is nice but not well located. If you are interested in really staying in the city and exploring this isn’t the stay for you. The bar food was far from good but the mixologist was great! I don’t write much reviews on hotels because my experience is never that bad. However, this hotel is a good exception. My handbag was stolen from the hotel!! Let me again be clear my handbag was stolen from the hotel which had my passport and all my cash. This was my first visit to Italy and this was how I was welcomed. Now I am stuck in Italy for 5 days without any cash and no passport. They hotel the hotel management also didn’t help much in tracking down who the culprit was. The location of the hotel is in a really bad area. Please guys don’t choose this hotel!! They don’t even have proper surveillance. I am a student and saved every penny for this trip and this is how hotel welcomed me.

We checked into this hotel on the night of September 22, 2023, due to a work trip, and let me tell you, it was the absolute worst pit stop in all my business escapades. It's mind-boggling that we dropped a whopping 400 euros to stay at this dump! From the moment we checked in, we experienced negligence and impoliteness from the reception staff. Despite our advance reservation, they refused to accommodate us for various reasons, making it impossible for us to rest in our exhausted state from our business journey. During our interactions with the staff, the female employees displayed impatience towards us. After several rounds of negotiation, we were finally allowed into our room. Upon entering the room, our disappointment grew. The actual room differed significantly from the photos, and the cleanliness was incredibly poor. The towels emitted a strong disinfectant smell, and the floors and pillows were covered in uncleaned hair. The toilet corners were filled with dirt. The power outlets by the bed were damaged, posing a safety hazard. There was no trash bin in the bathroom, and the showerhead leaked water all night, creating a disturbing noise that prevented us from sleeping. Furthermore, the shower enclosure was situated right in the middle of the room, the glass was almost transparent, offering a front-row seat to your colleague's impromptu shower concerts. which was extremely awkward for colleagues sharing the room during a business trip. I would not recommend this hotel for any business traveler. It's worth noting that the room did not provide toothbrushes, slippers, or bathrobes. The provided shampoo and shower gel were not single-use items, raising doubts about the quality and hygiene of these bath products in such dire cleanliness conditions. We attempted to call the room service to request a toothbrush, but there was no response for a long time. We almost gave up, but close to midnight, someone finally answered. An Asian room service staff brought us toothbrushes and slippers, which was appreciated. Of course, this hotel is not entirely without merit. The only noteworthy aspect is that the television in the room was functional, and the TV programming was entertaining.
