Food was okay but service was horrible. They were understaffed and everything took forever. It took almost 10 mins standing by the pay counter for someone to be able to assist me even though I told them I needed to pay plenty of times. Then the cashier was rude and would not believe that I did not have change to pay with lower bills. Being a tourist I don't normally stock Euro in my wallet other than the 20 Euro bills from the ATM. She said they don't have change even though I saw plenty of people paying with small bills and coins buying a quick espresso since we sat in front of the register.

It is around 20 minutes away from Duomo. Especially desserts are really delicious and fresh. Cheesecakes are little bit different classic American cheesecake, similar with San Sebastián cheesecake. Besides, pancakes are really delicious even if salty one. I give 4 points because of location and view. There is a construction site in front of cafe and it makes noise pollution. that’s why, you don’t want to stay more. :( it is really preferrable for take away until construction is finalized.

A godsend! My husband and I escaped a “free” breakfast that I wouldn’t feed to pigs. However, the team at California Bakery saved the day with prompt service and delicious food. I ordered pancakes with bacon; which was DELICIOUS! My husband ordered scrambled eggs, with bacon and toast which he devoured. Good space , tons of selection and delicious food. Winner! So, if you are in the area and want a great breakfast, run to this outlet of California Bakery. You won’t be disappointed!!

I didn’t expect much from this place when Google suggested it as a breakfast option but it’s really great! A huge range of options available: salads, bowls, toasts, burgers, cakes, bagels, fresh juice, smoothies, wine, beer ❤️ The music 🎶 playing here is from 00-10’s which brings extra atmosphere to this place. 🧍‍♀️The staff is welcoming and works quickly. 🏠They have two stores but the second one didn’t work. ➖The only disadvantage was the heat lamps above our heads in the room that made it too hot The photos and reviews are not very explicit so I took the photos of the menu.

The food was OK. The service was OK. Took a long time to take our order and for anyone to acknowledge us. I will probably give it a skip tomorrow and try a different place.

True to its name, this is a very good place for an American brunch. Portions are generous and the ingredients good. Bagels are more like buns than actual bagels, but big and yummy. We enjoyed our meal here

A nice place with an international menu. It was also convenient that the staff spoke good English. We enjoyed the cappuccino and the two-eggs any style. However, the bagel was not a real bagel, texture-wise, so I would order something else next time.

My eggs seemed to have gotten over cooked on its way here from California. The Avacado Toast Eggs Benedict is a nice healthy option in the area. As a eggs Benny connoisseur, this one misses the mark. I can’t help feel it’s the choice of ingredients here and the preparation that lead to a sub par meal for the price. The eggs were over poached, bacon lacked flavour, and the whole grain toast overpowered the meal.

It is a very nice place for breakfast and late breakfast. They have a very nice menu for breakfast. My wife and I came 3 times for breakfast and brunch during our trip to Milan. The dishes we ate in 3 days were Bagels, Pancakes and cheese burger. Bagels: We had Italian and Greek style bagels and they were really good, full bagels. We drank orange juice with it and it was fresh orange juice. Cheseburger: The meat and the cheseburger itself is very filling, a bit low on cheese but it's good enough. The bun could be better but overall it was good and tasty. Pancake: We had the Salty pancake, the portion was really big and the best I've ever had. It didn't leave an egg taste in your mouth like other pancakes. The staff are friendly but for a large place 2-3 people are working and it seems not enough. That's why the service is a bit late. I wouldn't recommend you to go if you are in a hurry and want to have something to eat and drink right away. It is close to where we stayed and you can take the metro. So it has a good location. The roads are narrowed due to the work done in the neighborhood but I don't think it will be a problem

Was a slightly confusing menu. It says €20 ish for pancakes but it means for a main, side and drink from a selected menu. Food was amazing and the staff were lovely. Lots of cakes to choose from, we had our cheesecakes outside the Duomo!

Food was ok even though very overpriced. The place was super noisy with some mechanical issues with fridge i guess? Even though we asked for 2 times for a water it didn't arrive, (place was not busy thou). Also no soap&paper in the toilet, come on, you are that popular and you provide that low service level to your clients? Disappointment

The best California bakery in Milano. Portions of food are larger. Coffee is included. In others, for some reason, we paid extra. Juice is renewed at brunch. In other California bakeries, we paid extra for it. The staff is very friendly. Thanks

Ordered a large and nice looking apple pie to find it had no apple in it at all just a tiny bit of apple purée! Very poor value for money and not worthy of the name apple pie! The rest of the cakes looked nice BUT after my experience I suspect they may be the same: colourful over sweet and tasteless!! I will never know! Also - as a single customer- I was ushered to the back and on to a tiny table away from the window when the cafe had many better seats which they wanted to keep for groups, even though it was a quiet afternoon. All in all very disappointing and costly.

Burger was tasteless and dry, made from some obscure patty that was tough and completely overcooked. My partner's bagel wasn't much better. Service: None to speak of, although there were more staff than guests when we visited. Won't see me again.

Very expensive for poor quality, orange juice isnt even fresh, you can have the same at any supermarket. Had the benedict pancakes but it wasnt even served with the benedict sauce, which resulted in an overall dry and blend dish, very disappointing.
