TERRIBLE!!!! Very rude staff and totally disrespectful!!!! They made us wait for more than 30 mins for a table (when initially it was supposed to be 10 mins waiting) and when we finally sat down the rudely told us that the waiting for the food was gonna be very long and they refused to take our order! They ignored us when asking what did they mean by “long waiting for food” and didn’t care about offering a minimum service to us! The worst experience ever in Milan for sure!!!

Amazing ossobuco perfectly matched with recommend wine, Bonarda vivace, and nice staff. Highly recommended! The portion is quite big so no need to order starter or side unless you are starving. Nice and honest staff was also told me to do so!

This place feels really authentic. It has the style of the old "Osteria Milanese" and people who work here have the Milanese accent. The environment is warm and welcoming, maybe a bit dark but it is in line with the style. We ate surrounded by old locals and it gives the idea to be in a well-known historical place. The food was amazing and dessert sad delicious. The only downside I could find was the coffee not that good. It tasted weird. Overall I really like this place. It is not cheap but it is definitely worth it. Recommend.

We were staying just up the road from this lively little restaurant and called here for an evening meal. All the staff were lovely and friendly. we had trouble accessing the English menu on my phone, so a member of staff let us use his phone . My husband and I had the cheese balls to start with, and both had pasta dishes for our main meal both delicious and reasonably priced for Milan at around €13 each. We sat outside watching the world go by which was really nice.

Nice Milanese food! Place is small though. Ask for the English menu (they are still updating as of 8 June 2019). The staff will walk you through their menu. Loved their risottos, steak with asparagus and cheese balls. They got a decent list of wines as well.

Great food and polite service. You can try all the Milanese classics here. I especially enjoyed the mix of antipasto. Recommend!

Delight your taste buds with the extraordinary flavors of the OssoBuco Risotto, a culinary masterpiece that stands out for its exceptional taste. The oxtail, tender to perfection, adds a luscious texture, while the ravioli filled with cheese introduces a unique and satisfying taste to the dish. Indulge in the exquisite combination of flavors that make this dining experience truly memorable and delicious.

Delicious ossobuco con risotto alla Milanese (only one course). The waiter was a little ungracious about my poor Italian.

Came here for dinner on our last night in Milan. Thoroughly enjoyed the cute restaurant that was very Italian. The service was warm & friendly and the food, very hearty and fresh. The risotto was flavorful and delicious and the veal schitznel was simple but tasty. Recommend both dishes!

We are happy we ate at a typical Milanese restaurant. We had the osso bucco, the milanese veal and veal with mushrooms. Everything was great, price is good. The AC was terrible/not working; they could change it or do a maintenance on it.

Delicious Milanese food. Prices were resonable (30€ for lunch with wine). Service was great!

I didn’t think food could bring me happiness. But it did. Briefly and beautiful this is perhaps the most phenomenal meal I’ve had in Milan. The atmosphere is vibrant and truly family orientated and the food is in a category of its own. If you are even considering a place to go. There is no question. This is a star amongst the night sky

Really big plates in a classic Milano Osteria. I highly recommend the ossobuco. Portions are super big and the staff, although really fast paced, is friendly. Perfect laid back spot for dinner or lunch in the city.

Probably much better than three stars, but i had just a very good mix of cold meats. Nice people, good bread, familiar in a smart way, check not on the cheap side. It's worth another try

This was recommended to use by a server at Bar Basso and it was incredible Milanese food with a homey, local feel. Had the Pappardelle (highly recommend) and the Veal Cutlets which was almost like a schnitzel. Do ask for the menu in English if needed.

The risotto was heavy and not that interesting. They were not very attentive but they were polite.

Wanted to get risotto but they do not cook it for one person. Ordered ossobuco with rice (25€) that was not bad but nothing really special. I have ordered 1/2 liter of red wine since I did not want to drink whole bottle alone. The wine I paid for 9 euros was rather poor. In total I have paid 38€ (incl water and bread) for an average dinner for one person. Despite of that the place seems to be very popular among locals and it was really crowded on the Tuesday evening there.

Nice atmosphere and high quality food. Not too expensive and ideal for small groups ( 4 people max) The service is very good.. since every night is always fully booked, I highly recommend to get a booking reservation before your arrival
