What a great discovery! We were looking for tortelli di zucca, and being the only restaurant around having them, we ended up here. We tried the baccala, the tortelli, the risotto and the tiramisu, and everything was delicious. We arrived at 12h and were the lucky first at the terrace. Don't wait too long to go as it was packed from 12h30. If you cannot arrived earlier and don't mind waiting, do so, the food is worth it. Also, I saw some reviews disappointed in the few choices in the menu. In my opinion, it means the food is of a better quality than restaurant with endless options.

Very good Italian menu. The ossobuco with the risotto was exceptional! Quite expensive, but that's expected in this area.

Ok food, but terrible service. Sat there ignored for almost and hour trying to order a drink. Waiters kept saying «just a minute». Ordered a gin tonic, but had to wait 30 minutes for it. In the meantime we had ordered food and wine which arrived almost simultaneously. Not kidding sat there for almost 1.5 hour before we got something on the table. Food was ok, but service just missing. Don’t go there if you don’t know them or speak italian.

okay place but overrated. the menu selection is extremely limtited, 4 first courses, 4 mains. The tortelli di zucca are four in total, its more a large appetiser. taste-wise okay but not fenomenal. the spaghetti with ragù toscano are underwhelming. the atmosphere is nice but overall I've seen way better for this price point in central Milan.

We had a lunch with Osobuco Milanese and spaghetti with Tuscany ragu! Food was excellent and service quick and polite! Definitely worth to stop if passing by! 🍾🍝

Average taste food but the environment is really nice with great variety of tasty wines. Traditional risotto Milanese with bone marrow was average taste. Mix of cheese and salami was really nice . Tiramisu was good.

Stopped here for lunch in Brera Rosso Brera caught our attention due to a short line in front of the place, with the majority being locals. Although the waiters found a table for us quite fast, the service overall was not that remarkable. We were barely able to catch someone to make our order, needed to ask for olive oil, salt, and pepper, as well as had to ask for the bill at least twice - weird given such a turnover. Lunch menu has quite a lot of traditional options, including the regional Milanese dishes. Despite the wide choice, the food was quite bland and oily. Brera is a nice district which seems to offer some other better places for authentic Italian cuisine…

Food was amazing but service wasn't. The manager was loud, playing videos on his phone with the volume on and disturbing the customers... Apart from a tall, young waiter who was very attentive, the rest were very dismissive and not making any effort to be nice. The score would be lower was it for the service, but the food was outstanding and worth the visit.

Cosy place with classic milanese dishes. We tried cotoletta and risotto and both of them was delicious. Prices are adequate to quality and quantity. Big adventage of this place is its opening hour during siesta.

One of the worst food experineces in Italy. Frozen meatballs, no sidedishes for a Knorr gravy sauce steak, no toasted bread for a strange coloured beef tartar, mashed potatoes kind of cream soup.

This is a cosy and cute little place in Brera. We loved the ambience both of the street tables and sat inside. The service was good - a small error was quickly sorted and apologised for, and no big deal at all. Food-wise we had the steak tartare which was delicious and well-balanced, gnocchi with Gorgonzola and chestnuts - rich and creamy, with a good but not overpowering flavour - and osso bucco which was the best we’ve had so far in Milan, with visible threads of saffron in the risotto and melting, tender meat. It’s definitely more expensive than some places but worth the money IMO.

Amazing restaurant in central Milano with great food and service. I had the Gorgonzola mousse with fig, papadelle ragout and the tiramisu. They were all really amazing. I’ve tried many tiramisu in Italy but this is one of the best.

50 meters from the real tourist traps, this place is calmer and even had a few non-tourists manning a couple of tables. The food is good for what you pay and the staff cheerful and reasonably attentive. I would have no problem going again if I were in the neighborhood and hungry.

Nice terrace on a backstreet. Food was good but nothing to write home about. Nothing that will make me necessarily come back

The Veal Milanese with potatoes is to die for! It's relatively more expensive than those in nearby restaurants but I've really enjoyed every bite of this! The dish came out piping hot, the crust was crispy and flavourful, and the meat was juicy and moist. The accompanying potatoes were well baked - soft with the fragrance of rosemary. The starter breads were also superb, the heartiness of toasted sesame and olive oil permeates through leaving me wanting more.

The food was good, but the service was terrible. We had to always ask for the waiter to come. They didn’t share what was not available before we ordered drinks, which was pretty bad since my wife wanted the fish which was not available. The waiters seem to favor other tables with more people and bigger orders. At the end we didn’t get the limoncello as all the others before us, probably because the bill was close to 100 euro, but not over.

It’s an amazing place for lunch. We got ossobuco Alla Milanese. The food was very delicious. Thanks to Giovani and Juned for the unexpected hospitality and service.

Chose this restaurant on our short trip in Milan from reviews and it did not disappoint. I ordered the ravioli with shrimp and scallops and it was truly delicious. Lovely restaurant, I would recommend!

Tourist trap Chicken nuggets for 20 euro under the name “pollo pepperoni”

Half the price and twice as good as the tourist traps in Milano. Great Italian food, great and attentive service, reasonable prices, and all around, an amazing experience. The menu is lean but offers the basics of regional cuisine (Milanese cutlet, risotto with saffron, a selection of pastas, etc). The eggplant parmigiana was among the best I had. The deserts were simple and delicious.

Our best and most romantic meal in Milan. Rosso Brera is far beyond all the main street tourist places. Enjoy delicious food and good wine in a lovely place.

Do not go here!! 3 euro coperto per person that no one informs you about. That is absurd even for the area Nothing exceptional, just too small plates with mediocre tasting food. The ambient is nothing much, and the waiters are cold and efficient. My tortellini radicchio were lukewarm and mealy, my husband's caccio e pepe was a dry, sordid affair. Not worth the price.

Mediocre overpriced food even for the area, terrible service, the guy serving our area, was disinterested, not bothered with interacting and came across aloof. Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe con guanciale was not the worse in Milan but not great, beef steak on the grill was a small portion given the price. Overall not the worst food but left feeling we were an inconvenience, no thank you when paying, no goodbye when leaving which given a cover charge as mentioned by other reviewers would have been an attempt at service. Just not for us, but make your own decisions.

Our first meal in Milan and Rossi Brera did not disappoint. Really friendly staff who were happy to help and recommend food for us. We sat outside and the courtyard is a beautiful dinner setting and very relaxing. We were happy with everything we ate. Our food was piping hot and delicious. Top tip - save room for the Tiramisu. It is the best we’ve had. Highly recommend.

We had lunch in Rosso Brera and the food and service were amazing. A little hideaway in Brera with a married couple as owners - they wete so friendly and forthcoming we fell immediately fell in love with this place. Starters, main course, dessert and coffee were exceptional! THANK YOU :)

Food is okay, service below average. Be prepared to pay a whopping COMPULSORY TIP of 3€ per person. No recommendation.

Charming and authentic in a quiet corner of Brera. Risotto, veal, beef tartare and wine were all delicious. Exceptional customer service that literally saved our vacation. My husband left his phone in the taxi and the staff went out of their way to help us successfully track it down. All around excellent experience.

Lovely place! In such a cute part of town! If you are looking for a beautiful area in Milan to have dinner, Brera is your place! The food was incredible and the staff was very friendly. The only thing that would have made this place superb would be if they had a more inclusive menu and offered any vegan options. They do not have any pasta items without eggs and no other first or second course items that are vegan. Only side dishes. Many place in this age at least have some accommodations that can be made so it is disappointing to see that this place could not do so.
