Update 10/12/2022: management is holding a $500 raffle for folks who post a 5 star review. So basically, $500 to lie (class act - NOT). Renters beware. Extremely poor communication skills from apartment management! When you do actually get to talk to them they are rude and condescending. No effort to be professional AFTER you have signed the lease. They moved their office and told NONE of the residents the new address, any tenants who payed with check or money order got late fees as a result. This month they sent out a 'reminder' of their new address - total joke as they had not sent any notification before. Work contractors came and replaced windows, residents were not told beforehand and they left a mess and damaged personal property. Staircases to the second floor are no where near up to building code. Same with the upstairs decks. Be prepared for at LEAST $150 dollars in extra monthly fees. Would NOT recommend.

Moved in this month had some issues with the furnace was replaced within reasonable time helped with heating my house while the furnace was out, had issues with the water heater had no issues replacing in a timely manor. So far my experience here has been very good. They have responded to every question and concern I've had. Have very high hopes for this complex and my future dwelling here.

I am delighted to share my outstanding experience living in Ascent Apartment Complex! From the moment I stepped foot in this community, I have been continuously impressed by the exceptional services provided by the maintenance team, particularly James, as well as the dedicated management. First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to James. James's expertise, professionalism, and promptness in addressing any maintenance issue have been truly remarkable. Whether it was a plumbing hiccup, a malfunctioning appliance, or even a small repair request, James has always come to the rescue with a smiling face and a willingness to go above and beyond. His attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills have undoubtedly contributed to the overall quality of living in this complex. Furthermore, I cannot emphasize enough the significance of having a supportive management team. The management staff consistently demonstrates their commitment to ensuring residents' needs are met and their concerns are promptly addressed. From the friendly and approachable nature of the leasing office staff to the prompt response to inquiries or requests, the management team has truly made a positive impact on my overall living experience.

As soon as I submitted the request, maintenance was there to address the issue and scheduled the service technician to come the next morning with the correct part to fix my dryer. Very happy with the service, the maintenance guy did a great job! Thank you!

I would like to leave a review about the apartments and management. I have been living here for almost a year and just renewed my lease. The new management, led by Amanda, is awesome. They respond super quickly to any requests or issues and Amanda is always willing to help. She responds to my emails within minutes. The complex is very safe and quiet, and is pet-friendly which I love. The grounds are always clean and in the summer, kids can be seen playing around. There are no shady cars or people around, and I feel like I know my neighbors and everyone is super friendly. The complex also recently opened a gym which is equipped with nice and varied equipment like weights, walkers, and bikes. I recently had an issue with my mailbox lock which was fixed right away. In conclusion, I love the new management and Amanda is the best. She has made it super easy for me to love my apartment complex. Here until 2025 😊

I've been living here for a year now and I will not be renewing my lease. Here is an entirely honest review of the place. They have changed management since we have moved here and I recognize and these folks seem to be much more attentive and caring than the previous management. Your payment per month will never be the same. There will be a random month where there's random $36, $40 charges on your account that seemingly come from now where. And calling the phone number is next to nothing in terms of getting help. They will charge $15 for parking despite having no assigned spots and not even all the parking is covered. People park in multiple spots, and households with multiple cars all park behind each other and take up the entire parking lot. Upon looking at it, there is absolutely nothing that warrants the $15. Renovations on apartments are lazily done. We have had an issue with our bath tub finish peeling and leaving this horrible yellow tub underneath and have told maintenance and nothing has been done. Our water heater was leaking for months because of improper installation. Our washing machine is put in slanted into the space. Our back door has never been able to fully lock and we have told maintenance about this on several occasions and there is a slight temporary fix for the moment but we have been without a functioning back door for months. Our upstairs neighbors toilet leaked and required an entire repatching of the ceiling. Our toilet was not installed properly and our apartment smelled like excrement for days. After spending more time in the apartment it becomes apparently clear that there are many cracks in the walls and ceiling. Our backyard was filled with nails and screws in the dirt. Wifi is included which is nice but its not the best so we opted for a higher speed plan. Our toilet froze during the winter for a few days. Walls are paper thin sometimes you will be able to hear conversations very clearly. The kitchen is very small hardly any room for two people to be in at the same time but i mean its fine. Cabinets are flimsy. Essentially no storage in the apartment besides a small closet in the living room. The apartment is small so it makes sense but not worth the money to me. Rent comes to about $1600 after all the fees and that seems entirely too much for 700 square feet. maintenance is great and Kim the property manager is really nice. This place is just fine if you want shelter and have no other options but i would look at other places first to see if they are more worth your buck.

Update: Upper management and on site maintenance have reached out to me. There are plans in place to resolve the maintenance issues (some were even corrected today) and charges for communication package services not received have been credited. They plan to also keep us informed of installation dates. Thank you, Tom and James, for all your help! I hope moving forward the office team improves their communication with tenants as this all could’ve been more easily resolved with a response, clear communication, and follow through on updates. Previous review: Just moved in a month ago. I have been patient as I’m aware the complex is under new management and may have made a poor choice in their renovations contractor. It happens. But I can’t get anyone to answer at the complex or at skyline management without calling multiple times in a row multiple times a day and we never receive email responses regarding maintenance issues. We were told we had to get the communications package and that it would be fiber. We have yet to receive internet or a proper update, told this week every week or that I’ll receive a call back and never receive a call back. But they’ve charged us for it. I work from home most days and have been unable to do so. We also have a laundry list of maintenance issues they are not completing or responding to. When they do fix something, it’s a laughable bandaid. I.e. the .25 inch plywood board behind our bathroom mirror covering a huge hole that looks into the neighboring apartment… I see in another google review they responded with their typical number and email to contact them but seeing as they never answer, that is not a solution. This is mainly a review to hopefully get them to finally contact us or at the very least to warn others. The employees and maintenance are very nice when we actually speak to them so maybe once they get things pulled together, hopefully they’ll be good but right now it’s so frustrating.

Great place to live! Reasonable price nice floor plan my favorite thing is the giant sink and beautiful countertops! Been here just under two months now in a newly renovated unit and it's pretty nice I'm very comfortable here. The maintenance guy James is top notch had a bit of an issue with my sink and he jumped on it right away to get it taken care of. Got it fixed and haven't had any issues since then. Nice quiet neighborhood and good neighbors too.

The prior management erroneous charged me $15 for apartment insurance when I already had qualifying insurance with my insurance provider. Your bookkeeper hasn't deleted this charge. The $15 keeps being added to my rent even though my office manager, Amanda, tells me this amount is being properly taken off my rent charges. So I would appreciate any help you can make in deleting this erroneous charge.
