Small and Lovely place, nice decor. Food was okay and prices were reasonable. Staff was friendly too 🙏🏽. I ordered the California Benny w/ hash browns and a latte… I was satisfied 😋

Extremely poor service. We were never seated after waiting well over an hour, the majority of which in the cold! What made the experience more infuriating is that they kept telling us "We never provide estimates, but after we seat a large reservation of 15 things should go really fast!". They had no sense of hospitality and as a result many parties, including our own, simply left after being ignore and lied to. I won't be returning and suggest that people steer clear as well.

A very nice small local breakfast joint with lots of charm and character. The food was delightful and of high quality. However in our group the kitchen missed an order leading my 5 star review to 3 stars. Other than issues in the kitchen the staff is very nice and respectful.

The food is really good but they started adding 20% automatic gratuity on takeout orders. Won’t be coming here again. Gratuity on takeout that is automatically the same as sitting down to eat is ridiculous. The owners need to pay their employees more.

End up in this brunch joint after putting our names in 3 others places all with 60+ min wait.... and we are glad we ended up here!!! Love the friendly ambience and wait staffs. The food doesn’t seem like a lot at first but boy it filled us up! And did I mention it’s really yummy too?

It was relatively inexpensive and our server was great. That said, they need to get some sound dampening in there. We had to nearly yell to hear each other. Also, though the food seemed prepared well, it was bland and relatively low quality. For example, the "Canadian bacon" on our eggs benedict was just 3 slices of thinly sliced deli ham, not Canadian bacon. Though it wasn't a bad experience, Over the Counter, Lazy Day, Eggs in the City, and Roots are all considerably better and close by.

Came to talk business with my pal Paul Kimball over eggs Benedict & a short stack of pancakes. The food and price definitely don't need an eggsplanation! Plenty of Items to choose from, and Bill the Owner seems like an awesome guy 👍😁!

My wife had to send her Eggs Benedict back because it was cold. When it came back out it was hot and she said it was good. My bacon was crispy like I ordered, but my toast was cold and I couldn't even put butter on it (toast cold and the butter was very cold).

I brought our kids here for a nice Saturday breakfast and unfortunately the pancakes were burnt and the kids wouldn’t eat them. My food turned out great and I would recommend the Millcreek mound. Just avoid the pancakes and I think you will be fine.

I was greeted with a smile, and seated quickly. Chicken fried steak was delicious, and the hash browns were extra crispy - as requested! Yummy all around.

Gluten free pancakes were so good! My husband had the stuffed French toast,v which he loved. I stole some of his "stuffing," a delicious creamy concoction, and put it on my pancakes. So good! Next time I would ask if we could get stuffed GF pancakes. Huge portions. Can get a single pancake as one of the sides with the egg dishes. Pretty much of a diner atmosphere. Server refilled my decaf coffee with regular, but I caught it. She was sweet but nothing special as far as service.

I had the stuffed french toast and it was delicious. My sister had the breakfast tacos and kept saying how good they were. The staff was awesome. They did a great job keeping our drinks filled and the food didn't take long to come out either. I'm definitely going back again.

Highly recommend “the mound” (eggs, hash browns, bacon, ham, cheese), and eggs Benedict. Wasn’t a fan of the French toast (had a hard glaze on it that didn’t taste great (however other people liked it) and it was a bit dry). Everything a little under $10 each.

I only put three stars for atmosphere because it gets rather loud. I had to shout for my friend directly across the table to hear me. Great staff, good food, I love their omelets

Main breakfast items taste great (eggs/sausage/hashbrowns) have been 3 times now and never received my toast with my To-go order. Tried their new Stuffed French Toast and the strawberry drizzle made the bread soggy after a 5 minute drive home. They put every other ingredient on the side besides the strawbery drizzle that ultimately ruined the dish. Consider eating inside the restaurant to assure quality. I'm fine with including gratuity for to-go orders (I always tip to-go anyway) but 20% tip for missing items and poor organization hurts. Won't be returning unfortunately. Good luck. BTW Parking is rough. (Not their fault just a constant struggle everytime I go)

The food is so good! I had the stuffed French toast and it was wonderful. The strawberry’s and bananas were so fresh. The filling was perfect, not too sweet or overpowering. I typically don’t eat whole meals, but it was so damn good that I had nothing left on my plate. 10/10 would recommend going there!

Best country chicken fried steak and gravy ever. In SLC? No really it was incredible. I also tried the Millcreek Mound. Also incredible. If you miss the roundhouse that used to cure hangovers near the University, the Millcreek Mound is your replacement. Good service and atmosphere, but the food is the reason you should hit up the Millcreek Cafe.

We came here 6/4/23 for brunch with our sweet grandma. The entire place was “backed up”. They had ZERO estimated wait times and were just guessing and unsure. In total we were there for almost 3 hours to eat for 30 minutes. At a certain point every table in the lobby was full and no one got their food for an hour. Our server let us sit for 45 minutes before food was brought out and we were not even checked on. Each member of my family has been extremely sick since we ate here. We were sick immediately after and have been dealing with it for 2 days since. Something happened that day in the kitchen it seems or someone was working sick prepping food. I hope your workers are wearing gloves back there. I hope you send your sick employees home. Every worker acted unphased by the massive delay when asked and oddly nonchalant like there wasn’t a massive delay and an entire store of people waiting for over an hour. Very unhappy with the service and the stomach illness we contracted after eating here.

The country fried steak was good. 4/5. Good breading and country gravy. Tasted home made. The Wife loved the gluten free chocolate pancakes. Will come back to try more.

I HAD to leave a shout-out to Blake, our server from the other morning. NEVER have I had a server be SO real, so funny, so kind and accommodating! Blake had us laughing in our seats with every visit to our table, and he gracefully navigated my many dietary restrictions with ease. It was really refreshing to have a server that felt so human and was able to joke and laugh with us, and to have someone that was so kind, quick and caring for our table, honestly. 10/10 would recommend going, just to have Blake as a server. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

This hidden gem is a quaint place for breakfast or lunch! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The savory quinoa was delicious! I’ll be back to try more things!

Friendly and fast service. I had the California Benny and it was DELICIOUS! Their homemade hollandaise sauce is excellent.

We met some friends for breakfast and they recommended this little treasure of a restaurant in SLC and we were delighted with the place! First of all our server was great! We didn’t feel hushed to make a decision right away (we got a little carried away with chatting that we didn’t really look at the menu… oops)! Our server made a great recommendation of the Savory Quinoa bowl and it was delicious! We will be back to try some more dishes soon!
