Alicia and her yoga space are incredibly welcoming. She has a real gift for guiding mothers-to-be through a yoga practice. Each week I leave class feeling encouraged, stronger and more ready to bring another baby into the world. I would highly recommend her classes for women any and all stages of pregnancy and fitness level. As someone who has tried to do yoga at home it makes a big difference to have a highly trained and knowledgable prenatal instructor! Unexpected bonus that I get to connect with other pregnant women each class.

I started taking classes with Alicia last year during my first pregnancy. This class was unlike any i have done before. I felt so connected to my growing baby while also releasing pain and discomfort in my lower back. This class helped me through the scariest stage of my life; i was so sad once i had my baby and could no longer go. I am now pregnant again with my second and will be there for every class haha :) Alicia is the BEST!!! great energy and truly cares about the mothers who attend her class. It is a little community. Definitely a must attend class!!! You wont regret it.

My midwife recommended prenatal yoga classes with Alicia and I’m so glad I started. Alicia is so welcoming and knowledgeable, and has also been helpful in connecting me with other resources. I highly recommend these classes at any stage of pregnancy or ability (I started at 11 weeks as a complete novice). I’m starting my third trimester now and it’s one of the best things I have done for my pregnancy. Thank you Alicia

I love attending classes here! Alicia is extremely knowledgeable and insightful on all aspects of prenatal yoga, from physiology/ healthy movement patterns to the mental/emotional side of prep for birth and parenthood. Her classes are very well structured and strongly connected to the historical roots of yoga which I appreciate. The community is super welcoming and friendly, and I love having the opportunity to be around so much other pregnant people in a studio!

I have been loving the prenatal yoga classes with Alicia! Going to yoga has helped my mental state and feeling more comfortable and confident with what my body is capable of as I prepare for my first baby. I also love the fact that I am getting some form of movement in throughout my pregnancy. I love connecting with other women in similar stages! Alicia is wonderful at incorporating relevant and powerful messages as well! Couldn’t recommend enough!

This studio is just the best, so warm and welcoming. They are incredible knowledgeable about how to move safely during pregnancy and beyond. I have loved the prenatal classes, and just took my first 4th trimester/ postpartum class today. I not only got in some great breath-work and movement, but also learned so much about how to care for my body through movement as I heal. Can’t recommend highly enough!

I've really loved taking classes here. Alicia is a great teacher and very generous - I've asked her for recommendations (things like pelvic floor therapists and massage therapy) several times and she always takes the time to give me great answers. The space is really clean, relaxing, and cozy and you can tell that making everyone feel welcome is a high priority.

I absolutely LOVE being in a room full of other pregnant women, what a necessary community during pregnancy. The space is GEORGOUS! Alicia teaches from her heart and her teachings are anti-cultural appropriation (hard to find in the Yoga world), meaning she teaches about where yoga comes from.

I'm so glad this place exists! Good yoga teachers will make healthy accommodations for pregnant persons BUT going to yoga classes focused on prenatal and postnatal health, plus meeting a community of people doing the same thing... priceless. Alicia is a great instructor and will help you with other community resources too!

Alicia is AMAZING! I started attending the prenatal yoga class at 17 weeks pregnant and have been going weekly since then. It’s the best decision I’ve made during my pregnancy. The class is welcoming, inclusive, and a wonderful environment to connect with other expecting moms—all while taking care of your changing body! I look forward to the fourth trimester yoga class once baby comes. Thanks, Alicia, for offering this great community space and practice.

Utah Prenatal Yoga is the best. Their instructors are fabulous and it’s a great way to connect to the birthing community for new mamas to-be! Their Covid protocols are top notch and the availability of virtual classes as well as safe in person classes offers a lot of flexibility for pregnant yogis. Not to mention that yoga is great for preparing you for labor and delivery!

Love Alicia and I love this class!! Grateful to have access to an amazing class. She has also told me about many other resources. Update almost two years later! Alicia is a brilliant and authentic teacher! She is a “yoga therapist” meaning she is beyond what the word teacher describes. She is one of the most valuable people on this planet in the way she shares her gifts.

Utah Prenatal Yoga is amazing. Alicia is so special, she is very intuitive and creates a good workout and relaxing environment for each client. She will change the class for specific needs of each client and help with modifications. I have enjoyed every class and am so impressed with not only her but all of the instructors she has teaching additional classes. I would highly recommend this place and feel so lucky I found her. I started taking virtual classes from the Utah Prenatal Yoga Studio when I was 13 wks pregnant...now I’m just over 30 weeks and feeling so strong! I’ve loved the community & the accessibility of the online classes, since I live about 45 minutes from Salt Lake City. Alicia and her team of yoga instructors are all so knowledgeable, kind and considerate of my growing belly. They are constantly offering up accommodations, challenges and positions to alleviate lower back pain and tightness in my hips. I take two classes a week and after every class feel incredible! I also love the ability to save some $$$ by buying a 10-class pass and the one time I had problems with a purchase Alicia responses within hours. Lastly, I was thrilled to know that they offer classes and support for after I have my baby, which I will be taking full advantage of. Utah Prenatal Yoga has been a total game changer for me and I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
