I’ve been with this gym for over 5 years now and I’ve seen some staff come and go and all have been quite helpful most times. Never had hectic incidents with the gym in terms of safety and when I did faint this one time they helped me get home and called to check up on me. This was maybe 3 years ago. The equipment hasn’t really changed that much but I think they replace it after several years. All together I’m having a good time here. I might change to a gym that has better equipment and classes but other than that I’m really happy.

Good gym. Very big and spacious. Decent views. Very well priced! Helpful staff. Equipment is generally good. There should definitely be a few signs saying please put your weights back. But yeah I'm very happy.

i can not even get myself to give this gym 1 star but apparently i have to so that i can post my review. the staff are unhelpful service adviser is never there to assist and is always to busy to reply to emails or even take a phone call . i have never had to deal with such bad service and gym is never maintained up to standards. my advise is do not waste your time effort or money at this place cause life is not as difficult as they make it .

Zone Fitness Milnerton has plenty of equipment, friendly staff and is clean and well maintained. The biggest downfall is that the staff/management does not enforce gymers to put their equipment (weights/barbells/mats, etc) back into place. Half of my gym session is me trying to find the weights that I need to use because they are scattered all over the place.

Should be zero stars.THE. WORST.GYM. - Zone Fitness Milnerton should have a stay clear sign at the front door. The service at this gym is absolutely appalling. First day at the gym I made a friendly comment to their manager that this gym is in a shocking state. Broken equipment everywhere & a dirty gym. Also demand that they tend to your cancellation request within a week of your request as they deliberately take their time to try & take more money off your account. Special mention to a staff member with the name of Simone. The worst person to have to deal with when trying to cancel your contract. My contract has officially been canceled 28 days after I handed in my request even after I was promised that my request would be dealt with in a week and I can honestly say that I will never in my lifetime return to this abysmal organisation.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting other Zonefitness gyms and this branch is the worst!! Range of issues: Highly unsafe (consistency of theft), Staff is unfriendly, gym stinks, air conditioning doesn’t work, gym is packed in the evenings (overcrowded) to the point that it’s hard to have a decent workout, in most cases the equipment is laying all over the place and I have to actually look around the gym floor for the weights. The management and staff disregards any complaints - in particular, I was physically harassed by another gym member (male) and up until today the management hasn’t responded to my complaint of this case. Another incident - my partner’s phone was stolen here. I’ve been a member of this gym for just over a year now. This gym is UNSAFE for FEMALES and for your PERSONAL BELONGINGS. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND PEACE OF MIND.

By far the worst Zone Fitness I've visited! I wrote a review about two years ago and decided to give them another chance, but it's actually gotten worse. Staff is practically nonexistent and the smell of toxic masculinity constantly lingers in the air. So glad I'm moving gyms soon!

Worst gym ever. Sales men sign you up for a contract without telling you that you cannot cancel the contract in the first 12 months. I would suggest not to use this gym. Stinks badly of sweat and toilets need to seriously be upgraded it's shocking. Don't feel comfortable in this gym !!!!

They lost my cancellation form. Hope that I would get refunded for the months I had to pay because of their mistake. Please don't use Zonefitness Sable Square they are very unprofessional. This branch makes the whole of Zonefitness look bad. Don't use this gym , money better spent elsewhere.

Beautiful views and some good gym equipment. However, it’s unsafe for your personal items - my phone was stolen here. In the time I was gyming I’ve also witnessed other members phones getting missing. Besides the concern of theft, there is overcrowding during peak times and the gym gets untidy to say the least. On another matter of concern, I’ve witnessed harassment of female members from some male members which I ended up addressing - staff members were unbothered by this incident including management. Lack of security is a big concern for members safety as well as personal belongings.

Second time now they lost my cancelation form. The first time was 8 years ago and they still insist on the money. In fact I wasn't even told about a cancelation form. The second time I filled one in and assumed they sorted it out and once again I'm been held responsible. They even handed me over. Absolutely disgusted in this I'll managed company. Seems like these things are purposely done to get money out of people. Unacceptable. Funny thing is if you read the reviews this sort of thing happens a lot and the guy signing you up makes empty promises.This company is a shameful brand that lies and steals money by mysteriously losing cancelation forms.

The service from the get-go that I received from this gym is absolutely sad. I would not recommend this gym to anyone that expects to be treated as a respectful customer.

Not a safe place to gym

Compared to the Cobble walk Branch, (which I rate 5 star) this branch is very dirty and the weights are always standing around everywhere. I am aware that the new gym is in the construction phase, but I do hope that the floor staff would be more focused on keeping the equipment clean and the floor tidy.

I was having a very pleasant experiance with zone fitness. However it seems they cannot make there minds up about being open or closed during load shedding. On the 13th, I called to check if you where open and u stayed open the whole day with the power outages (so I was told) but now I just drove all the way to the gym to get told they closing early because of load shedding but THE POWER IS STILL ON! 15min later the power is still on! And I have taken pre work out and it is highly uncomfortable having a tingly feeling with no way to get ride of the energy it is producing.... And it is possible for one to gym without power. Zone fitness needs is some back up lights for when it is dark. Also the womans toilet seats leave alot to be desired... most of them are broken.

I've witnessed people eating chicken in between squat sets at this gym, during covid. No windows that open, and the weight section is usually in disarray. Expect more of your members, and check up on your gym floor more regularly. Nasty

been with the gym for three years in muizenberg, moved here and what a mess. staff unable to do anything. very untrained and unprofessional. Cancelled both my and my girlfriends contract, but still getting text from them.

Big gym 🏋️‍♀️with a stunning view Small weight section, great big yoga studio, and big area for cardio. The circuit is designed for your benefit. Go check it out ! There is no power during loadshedding, so no treadmill will work, but big industrial air is still pumped in.

The bathrooms are not clean. There were pieces of toilet paper all over the stalls and the toilets were not clean. The weights section was even worse. Multiple different weights just lying around, staff not putting them back or enforcing the rule of repacking the weights after you use them. You'll be blessed if you can FIND a weight to use let alone actually use it. Barely any equipment to actually use, people just sitting around on the machines/equipment. You're lucky if you can actually use a bench press or squat rack as people just lay around on them, not even using that piece of equipment. Should really implement a time limit onto machines/equipment such as 20-30 minutes. Honestly, very disappointed in the gym. Not able to do any workouts to complete and no punching bag. Like seriously?

I wouldn't recommend them, service is very poor and they can't even communicate on top of that when they want money they take 👎👎

My friend told me to come and check out the gym and she as an extra membership that she’s not using. But when I got there I was basically forced into signing up . I then signed up and went to 2 Zumba classes and I felt it’s not for me, and I never went back again. I emailed and asked if I could cancel my membership or retract because it hasn’t even been a week that I signed up. I sent in a long email , and nobody got back to me at all !!!! I sent the email on the 17th of October 2019 . It’s now the 3rd of November and they took my money off my debit card and they still haven’t emailed or phoned . I haven’t even used to gym or the facilities or the bathrooms . I only attended 2 classes , and I asked if I could leave because I felt that it’s not for me . And ZONE FITNESS actually debited the money off my ACCOUNT !

I am from UK and living in CPT for work. I joined up to this gym and have had a pleasant experience so far. Very friendly staff. If you're looking for a spotless gym then go else where, I have been training for a few years and love the atmosphere. People come here to train, not to eat off the floor.

Had the best experience ever for so many years, sad to leave as I’m now living a bit far. Please can your associates consider opening a branch in Blouberg surroundings like Parklands or Sunningdale etc., there’s no Zone Fitness around there, I bet you it’ll be super attractive to some of us who can’t afford Virgin Active fees, pleeeaaasee!

This place has become too small for the amount of people training there. If you pressed for time best you go when people are either in work or leaving. Iv been training there for some time and the staff don't like doing their jobs. There are good people there but others don't have anything to do and you can see the lazy. I'm a normal member like everyone else and had experience chatter and rumours about me to the point where I had to set up a meeting with management. So, if you not interested in drama, train somewhere else

SHOCK CUSTOMER SERVICE! when gyms opened i advised that I needed to cancel my contract and they advised that there is a fee i need to pay. i decided to let the debits go off because it was only a 3 or months still left. my debit order was cancelled so i assumed that they processed my cancellation regardless because no one bothered to reply to my question about what they would be taking off at month end. fast forward to me getting messages from a debit collection agency!!!! are you kidding me. I explain my situation, they say they gonna log a dispute....6 consultants later the dispute gets handed back to Zone Fitness ... and no answer because obviously another month that goes by is another month of interest in their pockets. i call zone fitness and am told accounts is too busy to take my call they will call me back ...I AM YET TO GET A CALL BACK. in between all of this i get a sales call from a rep to find out how i am enjoying my time at zone and if i want to stay on !!!!!!!! Now that I read the reviews, all low ratings are related to the extremely poor and greedy unprofessional manner in which money matters are handled. SHOCKING!! Would not recommend!!

I recommend everyone to join zones fitness it is very affordable with modern equipment and professional trainers to help you achieve your goal. Dont just sit there run to zone fitness and give it a try.

After canceling my one year contract they continued deducting two months after. Their membership consultant Jamie Lee Groenewald never replies to emails and also sent me another clients personal info by mistake. The customer services is poor.

I urge anyone thinking about signing up here to turn around and go somewhere else. Not only is it possibly the worst facility that I have had the misfortune of attending but they also refuse to cancel your contract and will send you settlement claims and threats of legal action for years to come. STAY CLEAR PEOPLE!!!!

Thought I’d ignore the bad reviews and make my own judgement. The bad reviews were correct. Day 3. The staff seem clueless. The equipment is unorganised and they are an hour late to open the gym.

My first week at zone fitness and I must Iam really not impressed for such a established gym that does not own a generator to tell clients we have to leave due loadshedding.I would understand if it would have been communicated to all clients but no email nothing to advise that they would close. really not impressed

The gym is ok, it has the equipment you'd need but they could use with a change in machinery from time to time

Here it says that they're working till 7pm on Sundays while it 3pm I was very disappointed drove all the way from CBD to find out that they closed

One good gym basically on my doorstep. Not expensive at all like .....erm....just like the other two nearby....which charges both arms & legs.

I know it's hard during this load shedding, but please try to keep the lights on in your showers the 🔦 u using aren't so good, they don't last long, get Solar or something just for bathrooms only please!!

I've been trying to cancel my contract for 3 months due to relocation and no luck. I completed the cancelation form and called multiple times.

By far the worst gym I’ve ever been to, gym etiquette is nonexistent, people leave weights on the floor and the establishment does nothing about this issue. People also hog 2 machines at the same time hence delaying once workout. A major disappointment there is only 1 squat rack and 1 deadlift space, this is the worst thing to wait for because most workout routines are built around these exercises, so get multiple squat racks and deadlift platforms.

It was a very good session just that there wasn't access to water...just got water from both taps...but overall it was great.

Good place to stop after a hard days work. It would help if the weights were all in one place. Usually scattered all over the gym making it hard to stick to a routine

3 months there, loving the gym, they got new equipment just last week also & the gym is nice & spacious, there's no shortage of weights, this is a good gym for real!

last year november 2019, i decided to join zone fitness in cape town milnerton "sable square", luckily i got a once off annual special which was about R1500, but in december my company had to relocated me from cape town, so i went to give zone fitness 30 days cancelation notice as it was stated in the contract and now it has been 3 months already they have not refund my money back as promised and when i call the branch everyone sounds surprised, i have also visited the branch few times but the manager kept on telling me to wait for the phone call which i don't know how long is it going to take since its been 3months. guys i really need my money back or rather transfer my membership to the closest gym, rob people like this.

I've been a member for almost a year, I am really dissatisfied with this gym as I can't even gym in the evenings. It is just chaos! Weights all over the place and just way to many members gyming at one time! I actually have just given up even trying to train anymore. I have to train at night due to my work.

I was told to cancel my contract I will be liable for a 10% fee of the remainder. I'm now being charge that 10% fee plus an additional R500 odd. I was warned not to join them before and unfortunately I didn't listen.

I love the improvement on space and equipment BUT 1. Gents showers smell like piss, 2. Packers don't bother tidying up, and 3. There is a significant lack of communication between staff - mainly the accounts department. Other than that I'd have given it a higher review :( SO sad...

Not a great place to gym! I have supper club so much rather gym at a different zone, cabel mechanics with missing pins, one out of order for a week now... But you be late with payment by a day forget about access thou been a member for a year and not missed one before

Well I needed to start on my health and fitness and at Zone Fitness I'm getting and doing just that! Friendly staff Awesome equipment Hot fitness instructors Upbeat music and vibe And well they just make you want to come gym. That's now my get away from the world spot👌
