Reception area little awkward to get to if you have mobility problems although they do have a ramp. Rooms are up to date with a big tv ,the bed as usual is very comfortable and the shower is very powerful and hot. Road noise is an issue for me on this stay it’s been constant and still got quite a lot of traffic after 10pm. The beefeater pub next door never fails. Food is really nice. Prices reasonable. Even cheaper with a meal deal. 2 courses and a drink and a full breakfast all you can eat. In total 25.99. I have stayed here at least 5 times now and can’t wait till next time.

Stayed here as I'd just finished the West Highlands Way walking North/South and it was very nice. The room was spacious, clean and tidy and the breakfast, which is served in the restaurant over the way, was really tasty and provided plenty of options for everybody. It was an easy walk to the train station and town centre and what I most liked was the fact that weekdays breakfast starts at 6:30am - which is great when, like me, you just wanted to eat and get home. I had a bit of a problem controlling the temperature in the room, I set the thermostat to being about 17 degrees before going out for the evening but, when I got back, the room was at about 22 degrees. In order to compensate I then turned the thermostat down to 13 degrees and, when I woke up in the night, the room was nearly 30 degrees! Eventually, and somewhat blurry eyed, I realised that the electric heater could be shut off at the wall, so this is what I did and then opened the window as best I could to try and cool the place down. Overall, I would have no problem staying here again, in my opinion I got exactly what I paid for.

Great start to the WHW. Allowed bikes on the rooms, let us leave the cars in the carpark for a week. Even looked after our car keys so we couldn't loose them along the way. Great team 👏

It is okay. Nothing special, an okish hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is at the restaurant next to the hotel. 30 meters walk. Breakfast was good. A good price quality ratio. I could book a room again if needed.

Hotel staff were good. Room same as another. Food and bar service below par. Walk down the hill to the other hotel for better food and drink.

Good rooms! Great breakfast at the Beefeaters next door! We had dinner there too. Great place! Awesome start for the West Highland Way!

Typical Premier Inn, decent comfortable rooms. Just what you need for an overnight stay. All you can eat breakfast was decent too.

Perfect place to stay before beginning a journey on the west highland way. Rooms were super comfortable and it is only a hop, skip and a jump from the start of the trail. Breakfast was perfect!

Great place, good price for the time of visit (£120 for one night visit, two people in one room), especially during the busy stuff happening in Glasgow Center at the time. Only annoying parts were the pillow felt too full and hard, plus the bathroom was quite small, but otherwise great! Booking again for next year!

We had a very pleasant stay here. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Meals are taken in the Beefeater next door. There is plenty of parking. It's not only convenient for the start of the West Highland Way but also close to Milngavie Railway Station for services to Glasgow and beyond (such as Edinburgh). Also frequent buses to Glasgow pass the entrance. But only 4 stars because the rooms are looking well-used and a little tired. And, despite being quite agile, I'm finding it harder to climb over the side of the bath to have a shower.

Stayed here with my daughter on 14 Aug 23 before we started the West Highland Way. We arrived from the USA and got to the hotel early at 12:30. The room was ready so they kindly allowed us to check in early for a 10 pound fee. Staff are very friendly. The room was very clean and it was a great place to stay. A 10 minute walk from the WHW. We ate breakfast next door at the Beefeater. That was very good and friendly staff as well.

Had two rooms over the duration of my stay, and both were of a good standard - very comfy beds/pillows, and very good showers. Reception staff helpful and friendly too

Stayed here a fair few times over the last decade. On this occasion a heater kept making a ticking noise most of the night which kept me from sleeping. In the end I just switched it off at the wall. Despite being frosty outside it remained warm enough. Everything else was good and as expected.

Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. They offer car parking (for a voluntary donation to charity) if you're walking the West Highland Way so can leave the car watched over by CCTV for a week. Beefeater next door for food. Only negative is the one room had no plug sockets anywhere near the bed for charging phones and devices.

Very poor service. My elderly parents booked with this hotel for a night for a family party with all the extended family coming also. Unfortunately this is the day it snowed. This party was booked for months and due to the weather my parents are unable to travel to go. It’s a 3 hour car journey which is difficult for them at the best of times so impossible with the snow and ice conditions of the roads. When they phoned premier inn so ask if they could change the date to next year, so they can visit family they haven’t seen for 3 years due to covid, it was a flat no. This is highly unfair and disappointing of premier inn to do this. No one can predict the weather but they easily could have let them change the date. Definitely would not recommend this hotel because they’re horrific service to users.

Excellent hotel. Left my earbud there which were like 200 pounds. I rang to see if they had them and the lass on the phone was class. They are now posting them to my house as I like in Newcastle. Excellent touch and will definitely be stopping there again when working close by. Thanks very much

A one night stay booked for a party I was going to. The room was as expected. Clean, warm and cosy and in very good condition. (I love the soft purple light above the head board!). Comfortable bed, and shower over the bath. Reception were very welcoming and the breakfast was first class. Although it's located on a main road, it was very quiet and grounds are well maintained. I love a Premier Inn😁

Highly recommend brilliant place to stay if your doing the west Highland way. Free carparking if you make a donation to the local charity. The food at the beefeater next door is fantastic can't fault it.

Lovely inn! Big rooms with comfortable beds, welcoming staff and great breakfast which also offers vegan and vegetarian options.

Great location and services. Rooms very well equipped and spotlessly clean, showing bits of wear and tear in places. Recommend, will stay again.

The reception staff deserve special mention - they were kind, helpful and welcoming. The rooms were wonderful, comfy beds, very restful. Well done and highly recommended.

We didn't expect a Premier Inn to be so comfortable and be equipped and furnished to such a high standard. Large bedroom, comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom, quiet, excellent breakfast in the Beefeater next door. All staff very friendly and helpful. Ideally situated for the start of the West Highland Way. Bag pickup and transfer to our next hotel (The Winnock in Drymen) went smoothly.
