👍👍 This is a newer location which we are very happy because we have been going to the Fremont location. They have a good menu with special and more traditional sushi rolls. They also have ramen, bento boxes and lots more. Their food is good and prices are very good. We are glad they opened this second... People often mention rolls, good, sushi,

We will be going more frequently now that it's even closer.

My family and I came into the empty store around 10, skeptical about the overwhelmingly positive reviews. A kind young gentle man seated us and was very patient as he took our order and prepared the table. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We ordered their sushi, ramen, and bento. All of it was good. I didn’t expect the fish to taste as fresh as it did. All the rolls were beautifully presented. The nigiri came with freshly grated wasabi (which, like the real stuff, wasn’t pungent like horseradish “wasabi”). The price isn’t too jarring for the quality. The tea was also really nicely prepared :) I am thinking about coming back soon.

Kakuna Sushi is my go-to for any sushi craving. There is a sushi for everyone. Their menu has raw, non-raw, fried, baked rolls, and more (even Ramen!). Most of the specialty rolls are < $15. I usually order the "Rainbow Roll" since it doesn't use any sauce. The menu is in-depth with which toppings it has if you prefer sauce or even a crunch. Interior is a bit bigger than the Fremont location and has a cozy feeling that reminds me of college student life. Quality is just as good as the Fremont spot. I would come again!

This place is BOMB! My friends randomly discovered it and we've been coming here ever since. The fish is of good quality and very fresh, the rolls are flavorful and HUGE (like no joke, you only need ONE...TRUST ME), and the service is awesome. My favorite roll is the Umami but I've also had the Aloha and Kakuna which are both delish. BTW, super affordable for sushi. Three rolls (remember, they are HUGE) and six pieces of nigiri (also big) is just $65. This is enough to feed a family of 4-5. The place is a little small, so if you're going for lunch, I would suggest getting there before noon. The first time I went, it got busy right about then and there were no tables left. The second and third time I went, it was not overly crowded, but I can see it getting busy about noon-ish. Not sure how this place does on the weekends or for dinners, but lunches seemed to get packed fast. This restaurant is in a standalone structure so there's plenty of parking. Would def go back and can't wait to take my family! Yay for good sushi in Milpitas!

Quality sushi at a great price. One of the best baked rolls we ever had. The ramen is not too bad either. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place is a bit hidden, and one could almost call it hole in the wall.

Me and my partner are from out of town and saw all the great reviews. Food was amazing, tried a few rolls and appetizers. We came back the next day to get some to take home. Definitely recommend!!
