Honestly, I don't think I've had a better class of dining experience since moving out of London. Freshness of food is VERY marked, waiting service is honest and exceptional. We had live music, borderline virtuosic. And mains are a max of £12.95 with all sides included. The soups for starters are really worthwhile, try one. Ive been to Bucharest but am Indian myself. Ill be bringing my family here regularly, our new favourite restaurant outside of London. For those that haven't travelled there, The Romanians have an superb dining culture. Slavic / central european food. Ok, a somewhat limited menu, but if you like meat you'll certainly find a few meals you'll enjoy. The freshness and balance is beyond anything else ive found in 6 years of living in the area. Dont let the walk upstairs fool you. A TRUE HIDDEN GEM, im not overstating and have no affiliation with this restaurant whatsover. With two toddlers I haven't even managed to chat with the management UPDATE: Another meal here, I'm even more impressed (and I'm very picky, look at my other reviews). FOOD IS LIFE!

Highly recommended! Delicious food! Menu in both romanian and english so everyone can learn about romanian cuisine. Mouth watering food. Baby high chairs for families who want to bring in the little ones to try the food together. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was ok-ish, but nothing special. Frozen Romanian food from the shops tastes better. The waiter was very rude and seemed very annoyed by us coming to the restaurant. Extremely unpleasant experience, the whole time we could hear the staff laughing very loud in the kitchen. I would never go back.

We were kindly welcomed by the owner. The restaurant looked astonishingly dracula-like. There is very high attention to detail, the napkins are in the colours of Romanian flag, there is a Dracula's picture, local honey with lovely little wooden bears and pots and food are served in their local crockery, which adds to the atmosphere of the place 😊 we ordered Ciorba de burta, another dish with a chicken liver served with chips and salad, and finally pork meat served with polenta & salad. All beautifully spiced and served. Shame I haven't taken any photos. But I have captured the dessert! Papanasi - so 😋 😋 😋 But the portion is a full-size plate, so you really have to have a huge stomach 😋 Thank you very much for your hospitality. We will come back 😃

The food is absolutely amazing and the service is beyond superior. I highly recommend this to anyone who would like a nice meal. We went and enjoyed our meal after a day at Bletchly Park. This is authentic Romanian food. The food and drinks are definitely 5 stars, I can't say enough great things. Will definitely come back!!!!! Also a very beautiful atmosphere!!!!

Food is delicious, proper traditional dishes and staff is very nice. The only downside is the live music, went there on a Saturday and the music was way too loud (others may like it though) I could barely hear my friends speaking.
