I always love to come to this spot every time I’m in down because these drinks are so unforgettable. The cocktails are expertly made and always taste delicious. Last time I was there, my drink had a mini origami crane in it!

This place is really neat. Had a good date and the right age group for us too. 25-35ish. Relaxed. Cool drinks.

I love the creativity of their cocktails and various pop-ups. This is a very cool place for pre- or post-dinner drinks. They seem to support community organizations and causes with the pop-up events, too, which is important. I attended the 90s “spice girls” night which supported a local women’s organization, and they also hosted a blood drive for Halloween- super fun!

Your bartenders last night (11/23) were fantastic! As someone who bartended years ago I really appreciated watching them work because they are all about their craft and they had great chemistry working together as well! Keep up the great work!

Walked in with my friend for drinks together on a Monday night. As soon as we sat down, the bartender didn’t even greet us, and immediately just asked to see our IDs. Understandable, we gave them no problem. She stared at my friends ID first from Illinois, no problem. She then stared at my Wisconsin license for about two minutes. She then gave it back to me. My friend and I were looking over the menu, when she came back up to us and said “sorry do you guys have any other form of ID I don’t trust yours”. She told my friend she was familiar with the illinois ID so she was fine. She then mentioned that she is not familiar with Wisconsin licenses… not to mention that this bar is in Wisconsin… Maybe hire workers that know how to identify real licenses… especially the state you work in… Embarrassing… lost two customers of LEGAL age

Fun drinks. Fun bar. Good atmosphere. The happy hour had lots of options! The drinks are unique and not something you can find everywhere else. As expected with the fun cocktails, a little pricey but great during happy hour. The staff is super friendly and doesn’t feel like they are in your face all the time. Great non alcoholic options as well. The decor was very stylish and everything was clean! Would definitely go back.

Amazing cocktail bar! They treat Chicagoans like gold. The staff is warm and welcoming. This place is a gem. You’ll find great vibes, great drinks, great music, and great conversation here. We will be coming back! See you next time!

Good experience. You're immediately greeted by a cutout of Danny DeVito when you walk in. They play "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia" episodes all the time from what im guessing because thats all that was on the TV. There is a small bar and comfortable seating surrounding it. The drinks are a little on the higher side but with the specials it actually wasn't too bad. The bathroom had a toilet and sink but there was no water to wash my hands. I tried to turn it on and nothing came out.

Great cocktail bar popular with locals. The staff is friendly & it’s popular for happy hour during the week. The menu regularly changes but the staples like the Wisco Old Fashioned are always good!

This is a small cocktail bar, so don't be surprised if you don't get a seat on the weekends, especially during happy hour! Happy hour is 4-6pm and it's half off their specialty house cocktails or draft beer. Our group liked the Wisconsin old fashioned and the negroni spritz the best. The bartender did a good job by herself when it was extremely busy. My only complaint is the music was too loud, we could barely hear each other talk.

This was a weird one to evaluate. My friend and I showed up on one of the few rainy days the week after Summerfest ended. Lost Whale was quiet at 5:45 PM. Their Happy Hour is amazing - $5.50, but the drinks are restricted to their house list if you choose to enjoy happy hour pricing. I didn’t want to mix booze, but the price was too good to refuse. Their set cocktails are made in a flash, the template set in stone, and robotic in nature. Asking for something to meet my palate was not encouraged. Lost Whale makes me ponder what is truly the art of mixology. Is it creating a cool drink list? Or, is it creating cocktails that meet your customer’s needs? I’m old, so templates annoy me. Most people today enjoy uniformity. Drink lists rule I guess. Ben was our server, and he was friendly enough. Lost Whale is slick without pretension. I enjoyed the stylish seating and comfy armchairs. It’s small, but not claustrophobic, good for a date or a tryst. Lost Whale is sort of an upscale Mothership. It would be ideal, if I could get a custom, bespoke cocktail. Yet, I crave personal attention. If you don’t, Lost Whale might fit the template of the “perfect” Milwaukee cocktail lounge.

I adore the Lost Whale! The bartenders are wonderful and the drinks are creative & delicious. Fun vibes every time with great music and one of my favourite back patios in the whole city.
