We celebrated a very special evening here. My parents had never met my husband as we met and married in the pandemic. Odd duck was the first place we wanted to bring them when they arrived from Ireland. The staff from front desk to our servers were excited and helped us celebrate wonderfully. The food was just incredible every dish more delicious than the last. Flavors, textures and presentation just spectacular. Can’t wait for our next celebration, our guests are even requesting a second visit before they go home!

Came here last night for dinner for the first time and everything was so delicious! Our waitress was Celestine; everything we got she recommended and we loved! From drinks to dinner to dessert, all of her suggestions were absolutely delicious! We ordered the cheese board for $20, all of the cheeses were so yummy and different. We also got the broccoli salad, papas rellanas, oyster mushrooms and the curry! All so yummy!! I will definitely be coming back, if you live in the Milwaukee area or just visiting this place is definitely a must!

So amazingly delicious. I found the prices to be quite high for a small plate establishment and probably won't be back because of this. But if you have more discretionary funds than I have I could see you enjoying this place regularly. The staff is great, the service is awesome, and as I said the food delicious. I am glad I finally got around to trying them.

Hit or miss on dishes. Worth a visit to experience for the food adventurers. Get the board to experience the cheeses and add a mousse of your liking but be aware they charge you for additional bread and soda refills. Plates are small and prices are expensive. We may return in a year. New location is more spacious.

We pretty much ordered one of everything on the menu and I would say the food is very well seasoned and the flavors are good but overall the pork cheeks and pork belly were over cooked and a bit dry. The brussel sprouts were too weird to enjoy we didn't even bother finishing it. Our favorites included the duck croquettes, squash, deviled eggs, and the oyster mushroom. The seafood stew was good but it had too much heat and 4 mussels, 3 pieces of fish and 2.5 shrimp was a bit lacking for $19. The food seems southeast Asian inspired with interesting chilis and spices. Everything is enjoyable just not exactly 5 stars for me. We tried 4 cocktails and they all missed the mark. The grapefruit beer though, was amazing. Maybe stick with beer when you go. Service was prompt and helpful.

We saw the reviews at this restaurant and wanted to check it out. We didn’t have a reservation and the only one that was available was at 9:30pm but we were able to grab an early seat at the bar. The menu has a variety of different cuisines on the menu which is normally a red flag but that was not the case at odd duck. The drinks list is quite large with a variety of non alcoholic beverages as well as beers, wines and spirits. We started with oysters and a charcuterie board that did not disappoint, with 2 Wisconsin cheeses and the smoked trout dip. For our mains we enjoyed the broccoli, mahi mahi and Haitian stew. We also got the dumplings but didn’t find them to be as flavorful as the other food, maybe not our cup of tea. For dessert we had the chai creme brûlée and custard that were incredible not only in flavor but texture. We had such a lovely meal we will be back again!

Odd Duck is the kind of experience of a restaurant you want in any city you go to. Its the kind of restaurant that represents the venue's operators lifetime of experiences of food growing up in their city and presenting an evolution of those experiences on a plate. I did my research before I came into Milwaukee and that research paid off in spades. Come here with friends. Get a big table and order one of each off the menu. But before you go start your feast, indulge in any of their cocktails especially their Milwaukee Old Fashioned. The menu changes often but some crowd favourites remain but this is the beauty of this restaurant. It never feels stale and uninspired. On the night I went we had a Tuna Crudo with tomato and watermelon, Tuna Chorizo, Chicken Fried Oyster Mushroom (an absolute moorish of a dish and you can't stop at just one plate for the table), Duck Confit flautas, Woodfired Broccoli, Beef Short Rib ( one of the best Vietnamese inspired dishes I've had anywhere in this world) and some woodfired Za'atar bread you will always need to have room for to also order. But don't carb up too much. Save it for dessert which by this time it could be too late because you've indulged in the amazing savouries. But take a breather, and order the mochi and soft serve. This place is best enjoyed as a family share. Gone are the days of dropping courses in front of you. This is the kind of restaurant where the chef, servers and team want you to share in their food experiences with you the way they intended too.

Great cute small plate/eats neighborhood restaurant. Wine and cocktail selection was great. We ordered a meat and cheese board which was fabulous, small portions but really great selection and tasty. We then ordered 3 small plates as well which was plenty of food for the two of us. We had the short rib, duck rolls and harissa lamb. Everything was super tasty except for the lamb which was very over cooked :( great flavor but was unfortunate that the lamb was super dry and overdone which made in gamey tasting. Overall great experience and great service, would recommend

The menu was unique and delicious! Each thing we ordered was more impressive than the last. The service was great, and the food came out very quickly. They also have lots of gluten free options. We will definitely be back!

We made reservations a few weeks in advance and this place did NOT disappoint! I’m an avid global traveller was really excited to find new wines on this menu - orange wine was a fun one. Food was fabulous and the service was 6 star (out of 5)! Steak bavette just melts in your mouth. My spouse wants to return just for the corn meal ice cream. Highly recommend!

Wow. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures of half of it! I have Celiac and need a clean gluten free meal that has no cross contamination. When I showed up, they had a menu ready with gluten free options already marked up. They were fully aware of how to keep me safe. Each dish was better than the next. I cannot wait to come here again, this was one of my best meals in Milwaukee, especially knowing how safe it was for me to eat.

Visually enticing and cozy as far as the atmosphere. The food was even better yet. We shared 5 plates and left gloriously stuffed. Im vegetarian and loved the many options. My husband is a meat eater and thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian options. So delicious.

This place exceeded expectations! The food was delicious with every dish more interesting and exciting than the last. We started with the pimento cheese and Brie and ordered the broccoli, curry with squash, wood ear mushrooms, pork belly, and short rib. The curry and short rib had to be my favorites but so hard to choose as everything was so unique and bursting with flavor. The service was top notch as week. My husband gad a few cocktails and I tried two of their mock tails which were fantastic. We finished with the brown butter pear soft serve.

We had a delicious meal at the Odd Duck. Small plates are perfect for a party of two. From oysters, to smoked trout, all the way to the coffee, our service was top notch and so were the dishes and cocktails. Very much recommend!

Got the Foie Gras and Duck Confit croquettes, Vietnamese Beef Shortrib, the Korean Pork Belly, and the Octopus and split it amongst 3 people. They were all really great and the service was amazing. I like how they integrated a variety of cultures into their menu by having dishes from different countries and really hit the mark on all of them. Definitely recommend this spot for a more higher end dining experience in Milwaukee! It was roughly $40-50 per person.

I haven't been to odd duck since they moved, but damn food and service have not suffered, we went for a friend's birthday and I'm pretty sure we order one of everything off the menu for our group of six, the deviled eggs were life changing, and the tuna was out of this world, a friend who doesn't like fish even said she enjoyed it. The staff was amazing we got there just on time and the hostess gave us drink menus and the group at our table was still sitting around and they gave us a round of drinks for free. Just great all around and for all the food we got it was well under 400 which for our group with drinks is unheard of. But well worth it.

I was not expecting to stumble upon this place being in its particular location, but I’m glad I did. Drinks were excellent! The staff and other patrons were jovial and welcoming.

Loved it. Service and food were amazing. I have a dairy allergy, and they made me a little custom menu so I knew what I could eat. It's so hard when I go out to eat with my allergy. I typically have to ask a server a million questions about each dish. They took that stress away. Thank you. Will definitely return!

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. They are constantly updating their menu with delicious, creative dishes. They have great cocktails, too. I always learn a lot from eating and drinking here because they use a lot of unusual ingredients in unique ways. I always have to Google a lot to find out exactly what I'm eating, it's super fun. 🙂 I've been there so many times and I have never been disappointed by anything I've ordered. They have "Animal" and "Vegetable" sections on the menu so it's easier to choose dishes based on your food preferences. I've always had good experiences with the staff. They're really knowledgeable about the menus and super friendly. The restaurant has cute and quirky duck-themed decor. They've upped their portion sizes since moving to the 2nd St. location, too, which is a major plus. Be aware that they are only open for dinner. Eat here!!! You will not be disappointed.

Cocktails were amazing and service was great. The small dishes unfortunately lacked comprehensive flavor. The dishes had a singular dominant flavor that wasn’t as complex as described on the menu/expected. The oyster mushrooms tasted like pepper, the lamb was dry and tasted like chili powder, and the duck dish tasted overly salty. Overall the atmosphere, cocktails, and service made up for the lacking flavors in the dishes.

Everything was super delicious. Service was great. The beef was soooo tender, we could cut it with a spoon! My first drink was so delicious and refreshing .(the 83) the second one wasnt my favorite. Only 4 out of 5 just because it was very pricey, which we knew ahead of time, but still.

So good. Received a gift card and LOVED it. Had Lamb and Duck meat entrees with salad and peanut stew. Everything was out of this world! Our server was so friendly and helpful in talking us through the small plates menu. Highly recommend.

Always consistently amazing and I’m always delightfully surprised with the dishes they present to the table. The quality of this restaurant has maintained its excellence and experience time and time again. I’m a foodie and this is a restaurant I will keep coming back to time and time again. The experience from start to finish is superb. I’ve been to the vast majority of Milwaukee’s top restaurants and Odd Duck is always at the top of my list.

Very good. Some dishes were amazing, others were okay. The moqueca and duck were my favorites, and the tempeh dish was good too. Nothing was bad, just not our personal favorites. We sat at the bar, cuz they were packed. The bartenders were great. We got a variety of drinks and local/craft beers. Good experience. Remember to make a reservation!!

Odd Duck is so delicious! So. Delicious. This small plates, international tapas restaurant uses top notch ingredients in creative ways that you may not expect. Their seasonal menu features the freshest ingredients. Oh, and the cocktails are stellar too. Next date night, take your partner to Odd Duck.
