Food was TERRIBLE period! Would've given ZERO stars if I could! You've been warned! "Fried rice" had zero flavor. All my chicken entrees tasted freezer burnt and over fried or several pieces just missing chicken completely! These pics were taken minutes after I received my order. Asian male taking my order was not very friendly. I will never return to this restaurant. Unless it closes down and becomes a different one. Wasted money! 💸💸💸💸

Food was great but the service was absolutely horrible. The short older guy that works there will talk to u with a bad attitude like u are stupid. For example I asked for fried rice and they don't have sizes on the menu, so I said the $10 one. He then asks what am I talking about there is no $10 one it's $10.95! The other size fried rice is $7.. so if I say I want the $10 one how would u not know what I'm talking about..

Arrogant and degrading employee working the front counter. Don't ask any questions at this restaurant, you will get scolded by the short old man working the cash register. The food was Bland to say the least. But the attitude of the worker was very spicy. Don't waste your time coming here. Go to another place with friendly employees who know how to handle customers politely.

I stop going here a while back because the quality of the food went down, so I wanted some Chinese and this place popped in my head and thought I give them another chance so I went, knew exactly what I wanted it wasn’t busy sat at there counter for 10 minutes he seen me didn’t say word walk past me several time still nothing, there’s a lot of other restaurants especially Chinese restaurants, so a lady came up to the same count asked for something he went and got it, so I’m like ok!, then another lady comes up asked for something he went and got it now theses two lady came right next to me this guy never said word never looked me! So I left! Not sure what’s going here anymore, I won’t be surprised if they close their doors, very bad attitude!

Dont waste your time. Got chow mein and gave slop and pre-made dry noodles. Didn't bother cooking, underwhelming. Better off getting Asian from the frozen section of the supermarket

Worthless and incredibly rude/mean/bad attitude employee. This used to be my go to for Asian food. Now the sizes have shrinked. The cashew chicken used to be one of my favorite dinners here and now they switched from white meat to dark meat in the cashew chicken. I no longer care for it. They are cutting quality and the size and charging more for it. The fried rice is the least flavorful I have ever had. Just an all around bad experience.

Don’t judge a book by its cover!! Hands down one of the best Korean Chinese food in town with huge portion, building is old but clean. Friendly staff and fast service

This is my absolute favorite restaurant near Milwaukee airport. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with it! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. We are so fortunate to have this place in town.

Wontons had less than a teaspoon of meat in them, some had none at all. Crab rangoons were bad and hard to eat. Mongolian beef was good but I had more onions than meat in the box.

We called in for a take out order for 6 people. They were able to accommodate us for a 45 minute pick up time after letting us know the order would be ready in 15 minutes. They got our rather large and diverse order perfectly. Everything was hot and all the food was absolutely excellent. We sampled nearly everything on the menu and nothing disappointed. We live a half hour away and it is now our go to place for Asian cuisine.

Called to order but no one answered. Read that they make the food quick so I drove to store and ordered to go. Garlic chicken is amazing. Ready in about 5 minutes freshly cooked.

Always friendly, ALWAYS fresh. San Dong has been a favorite with my family for over 10 years. I can't think of anywhere else in the city I'd rather get authentic and tasty food from. Never greasy or oily, I've enjoyed their fried rice, rangoon, and other dishes for over a decade. A little unassuming, perhaps, but worth the trip.

San Dong Rice. I used to come to this place almost 20 years ago when worked over there. Still the same great food.

Order the crabmeat Rangoon appetizer Mongolian Beef lunch size, Three Choice delight lunch size and a shrimp fried rice. All was great! Would order from again. For lunch time, it was ready in 20 minutes from placing the order.

The owner and staff of this restaurant are always so kind and provide awesome customer service. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and am always impressed by the quickness of service and quality of the food. Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Milwaukee!

I was surprised how quick and freshly cooked it was, and they were really nice to me! I think dude even checked the bus schedule for me or something, it was cool. The cabbage in my egg roll was stringy but it was yummy. Highly recommended! Will return soon!

Stopped by San Dong after my flight landed at MKE. Was hoping to get something good to take to my hotel for the night. Ordered the chicken chow mein. Got to my hotel to eat it, opened up the bag and there were no utensils. Then after having to hunt down something to use to eat my food with, I realize they didn’t put a single noodle in it. It’s literally soupy cabbage with hints of carrots. It’s not my fault my flight just so happened to get me here a little late as I’m sure I was the last customer of the night. I work at a fine dining restaurant so I get that someone coming in 20 minutes before close can be annoying, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t provide the same quality service for every customer. I will not be back.

All food was too sweet. It has to be much less sweet.

This is the best twice cooked pork and Beijing chicken I have ever had. The Kimchi is good, too. Homemade noodle dishes are outstanding.

San Dong Express consistently exceeds our expectations for delicious, fresh, and expertly prepared food. Service is always friendly and efficient. The dining room has a big happy buddha in it, which I love. The tables and chairs are always clean. Super shout out for the homemade noodles and Kan Cha Jang (Beef with vegetables & black sauce). I could seriously eat this everyday. It's $11.95 for a very generous portion, a big bowl of spaghetti-like noodles with a big side bowl of the beef, veggies, and black sauce. The pot stickers are also amazing. 6 big homemade pot stickers, deep fried and served with a perfect umami-like sauce. The hot & sour soup, Pepper chicken, Chap Chae, beef fried rice, Mongolian beef, and Cha Jang Myun (pork, seafood, vegetable & black sauce) also deserve an honorable mention. YUM! All around.
