Love the zoo, we actually use it as family therapy. When we just need a breather from it all we load up a cooler with snacks and stuff n we head out for the day. With so much to see n so much space n seating through out we can take fun breaks. Even though they were cool to see we can't wait to see what replaced the dragons n other new adventures Prices keep going up however the amount of fun makes it worth it so we renewed our zoo pass so we can go as much as we want. ($120+ for me, two kids n a guest w/o parking for a year) we ride the city bus that takes us right to the gate, no long waits to get in!

Now one of my favorite zoos. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it here and we spent a whole day walking. If you went through every exhibit slowly you could potentially spend more then a day looking at everything. We spent around six hours here and will be back. It was very well maintained and very clean. I was quite impressed.

I haven't been in a long time. We had a good time and nice to see the updates being done. Milwaukee has one of the nicest zoos

love the zoo. what can I say? cool zookeepers that happened to witness our interest in the orangutans strolled up and had a great conversation. Concessions are reasonable. all around a great, enriching hang.

We walked all over the zoo. Wore our facemasks as well as everyone else visiting the zoo only saw a couple that didn't have them up on their faces while outside. Hippo exhibit is an awesome showcase now of our hippos. Happy was moving around and delightful to watch him in the water! Elephant exhibit is beautiful. We only saw the ears of the baby snow leopard. Awesome day overall!

Very neat and clean. A lot of the food kiosks were closed and we were there on a Thursday. A few too many exhibits were closed and of course the cost to get in all zoos lately is a bit much $15 to park and two seniors and a child and it cost us over $60. We haven't been there in many years as we live in Chicago but we're spending the weekend in Milwaukee. Our niece enjoyed her zip line and we enjoyed the baby giraffe the most. She also got to feed him

Very nice zoo. The aquatic exhibits were particularly good. Also enjoyed the primates. I think the animal enclosures should be bigger and more natural, but they are still enjoyable. The zoo setting is very nice with lots of trees and paths

Most exhibits were closed or being cleaned. Cuban sandwich at the 414 restaurant can't be beaten but closed for the season except the weekend. The brisket sandwich at the Flamingo restaurant is amazing. The animals are pretty great too.

We have a great zoo in Milwaukee! Was there on a misty Thursday. Not too crowded. Few animals missed but..Family time is Always a Win!

The zoo was a wonderful experience. There is an incredible amount of exhibits to see and participate with the animals. We loved the train ride and the lift ride in the zoo as well. I wish it was more sensory friendly though. My youngest son struggled with trying to find “quiet” spaces and we forgot his noise canceling headphones during our travels. Our entire group had a fun time still.

Always a great time! Ive been going since I was a kid and we get annual passes every year now. My kiddo loves the train and playground even more than the animals 😂 Had a great experience feeding the giraffes last time! Staff is kind, food is good, events are exciting, animals are gorgeous, wax model machines are so fun(but pricey now at $5ea), and when it doubt it's the best place to go for a long walk without worrying about cars or anything!

The Milwaukee zoo is always a great time, the new additions are pretty awesome. The animals weren't very lively but it seems like they come out more on a non-busy day. Highly recommended!

My 4 year old son and my preteen and teenage niece and nephew had a blast. Just as my son was getting tired he found the playground and got his second wind while I tested my feet. All of them loved feeding the goats and riding the train and ponies. 9/10 would recommend and go again! The only downside was that several of the food options were closed probably due to covid precautions.

Was at the Milwaukee Zoo. Spent an entire day there and still did not see or do everything. The best parts for me were the Aviary and the Aquarium.

This has always been a fantastic zoo even though some of the animal habitats are getting old. On our most recent visit we noticed the signage was lacking. Many animals off-display, not in they're habitats, etc. It's still worth the trip and definitely ride the train.

One of my favorite places to walk in Milwaukee. Animals are well tended for and grounds are always clean. A wonderful way to spend the day.

My daughter took my great grandson and me to the Zoo for my birthday. All of us had a great time, I always loved the Zoo and I always will.

Not a large zoo, but nicely done. Loved the tram for a nice overview of the zoo. The train ride was also a nice extra. The was alot of food to purchase throughout the zoo. Plenty of restrooms. They were clean as well. There were alot of zoo personal walking around, the "seniors" my age plus, seem to enjoy handing out all kinds of info, whether it be about the zoo or animals you were viewing.

This Zoo is fantastic. We went on Labor day and it was clean, not packed and all the staff members were helpful and kind. It was definitely worth the drive.

Love getting to chaperone the kid's free field trips to the Zoo. We always have fun and they get to learn things about each animal from the staff that are all over and willing to give mini-lessons. Such a fun learning experience.

Very nice zoo. I was impressed with the modern pleasant habitats. We just saw the outdoor exhibits this time. The weather was so pleasant on Friday October 21. Sunny and warm with a perfect breeze. The zoo had fun fall and Halloween decorations all over. Really in the spirit. I applied our admission fees toward an annual pass with 2 guests. I know I will return Very soon as it is really beautiful in the fall.

Went for my son's school field trip. Being an adult visiting is much more depressing than when you're a child. A lot of the animals were sleeping or not out, which I figured would be the case since it is Winter. Wish it wasn't so expensive. $5 for a Gatorade is a little much. Not sure I would pay to bring my kids in the future.

I've been going to the zoo for 45 years. My father has been taking us and my children. We always have a good time there.

The animals all seemed to be happy and the layout was great! I also loved the Ice Age exhibit!

  • 5/5 Austin B. 1 year ago on Google
Even during winter there are plenty of animals and exhibits to see. The new VR Gorilla exhibit is well worth it.

Best zoo I've ever been to. The animals seem well taken care of and very kid friendly. Food is amazing and staff is super knowledgeable and helpful.

  • 5/5 Karen C. 9 months ago on Google
Don't bother going to the ice age thing, it's a bunch of creepy robots and Sendiks clearly spared no expense to rip you off. Other than that the zoo is fantastic! Loved the education and seeing the animals.

  • 5/5 Christopher P. 3 years ago on Google
Really nice zoo! Very clean, lots of fun, and not crazy expensive like a lot of other parks.

  • 5/5 Yuri S. 3 years ago on Google
The Zoo is open during Covid w/mask requirements (but will provide "exempt" stickers/badges for special needs children if requested at the payment booths). Most exhibits are available w/indoor capacity restrictions (with one area in the indoor primate building closed), and most of the dining/concession areas are also shuttered. Weekday attendance is very minimal during winter/slash Covid and offers a welcome change from the crush & bustle of the summer crowds.

It was a good zoo. The 20th zoo I have been to in North America. One of the best bear exhibits I have seen. The aviary has a unique collection of birds, some of which you won't find at many other zoos. Well kept and clean. I will be going back someday.

  • 4/5 Alley G. 3 years ago on Google
I had a great time. The summer exhibit this year is dinosaurs and I really enjoyed walking through and looking at the different dinos. Almost all of which were robotic and moved around and made sounds. Lots of fun. They also have a penny machine with 4 dinosaur designs tio choose from, though it was kind of hard to find since it is by the hippos and rhinos instead of by the dinos. If all of their different summer exhibits are that enjoyable than I feel it would be well worth it to spend the extra admission to see them every year. It was very relaxing walking through the rest of the zoo as well. The bird and underwater/reptile houses were really nice. Unfortunately several of the other exhibits were closed due to the virus this year including the small mammal house and most of the big cats.
