Very polite and helpful staff. Parking is good. ¥2,000 from 8:00 to 16:00 but you must get there early as it gets very crowded. That’s in fact one of the drawbacks. Very crowded. The shower and cleaning up facilities are VERY VERY POOR considering how popular the place is. I have seen MUCH better facilities at smaller places. Toilets are not that great either.

Not worth 2.30 hours trip from Tokyo. Water is very clean and very cold, there’s 0 shade so rent a parasol if you want to live. After 6PM there’s nothing except the 7/11 and some suspicious bars hidden in some side roads. Lots of families, lots of tattooed “entrepreneurs”, so you find a bit of everything which makes the place interesting during the day. The highlight of the place is definitely the drone patrol flying above people swimming too far from the sea shore.

Beautiful beach. The water wasnt too cold or hot late August. Free access, and you can bring food/drinks amd a canopy tent to hide from the sun. The water was pretty clear when we went, we snorkled and saw some smaller fish handing around the rocks scattering in the water. We also saw two stingrays further out, would reccomend to snorkel on a calm day. The waves and currents can be pretty strong the further out you go.
