Owner and Stylist Antonio Marino who finally opened his own place ( thank God), has proven that owning your own place makes all the difference in the world. He is a visionary at his craft and has talent second to none. Over 25 years in this buisness, here in the United States and in his country of origin Italy, he makes the challenges and creative art of hair styling look simple. A person, man or woman, can come in looking for something different or a certain style and he creates magic, sometimes not even knowing what they want, but he looks and creates, like a sculptor creating a masterpiece. His staff hand picked by himself, fullfill the same passion, and creativity that personifies himself and his goal to make everyone unique and to look the best that they can be. His Color Dept is run by his top colorist Kim who has done hair color for the rich, the famous and everyone in between. She and the rest of the staff are so accommodating to everyones needs whether scheduling or rescheduling appointments, answering all their questions or just being there for them at a moments notice. Ample parking is available since he is located on the 2 floor in an office building off the corner of East Jericho Turnpike and Sheridan Blvd, but there is sufficient parking on the side streets. His establishment is already catching on with locals and clients that were with him and his staff already. He and his team also specialize in special occassions such as weddings, engagements and such in group rates and discounts to all. I have been going to the Antonio Marino Salon since it opened. The staff is wonderful!!! I get base color, highlights and haircut. So often, I get compliments on my hair color and cut. The staff members are just friendly, professional and so caring. This salon is just the best!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Antonio for years and years and it’s always perfect! He takes his time and listens and helps me understand my hair, it always looks amazing after a haircut! I’ve been getting colored by Kim for a while now and she’s fantastic! My color always looks incredible! Highly recommend for hair cut and color on Long Island!! I even travel now that I moved further east because it’s worth the drive!

I’ve been going to Antonio Marino’s hair salon since it opened years ago. I am a very satisfied customer and never had a reason to want to go anywhere else. All the staff are great! Always very friendly and accommodating. Kim does my hair color and does a fabulous job and always gives me what I want. Janene and Dionisia give the best haircuts and blowouts and the shampoo girls are sweet and give awesome head massages especially my girl Jessie. Ana and Lori at the front desk are both sweethearts and Antonio always has a smile on his face. They make you feel like family and most importantly make my hair look beautiful and healthy.

One star for beautiful salon and great customer service Cons :nice guy but don’t go to him( Antonio ) if you have short hair or need short haircut he had no idea what he was doing after charging me $100+.( spent 10 minutes w me ) I was left with the worst haircut of my life Color : was done by Kim she decided that I needed temporary color I was charged $60+ for it. And now a week later I need to color my hair again I normally never leave negative reviews but I feel people need to know before paying $160 for the bad cut and the color that lasted exactly one week !

Absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this salon. First off, Michelle has been doing my hair for about 7 years now. I have blonde hair and have had ZERO damage!!!! I’ve been a loyal client for 25+ years. I’m constantly receiving compliments about my hair and I have also given him a few referrals. One referral now has her whole family going. I’ve been going to him since I had short hair and now I have shoulder length hair. I always sit in his chair for a consultation prior to haircut to discuss my needs and wants. Just recently, I wanted a refresher and showed him a photo for inspiration. We discussed it, and he did an interpretation that he felt would work best for my hair texture . Needless to say he did a version that he thought I would be happy with and of course I don’t second-guess him I WAS !!! I also have to say everybody that works at the salon is exceptional.
