I loved my experience at Beadhive. The staff gave me space when I needed space, help when I needed help, and really went out of their way to make me comfortable. I had broken a necklace I bought in Mexico as a gift for a friend. I left with a beautiful necklace that was made by restringing the original beads onto a more stable and more attractive cord and by adding extra beads. No sales pressure, but good advice, so that I ended up getting exactly what I wanted. As the woman at the counter who helped me finish my necklace said, I had a better quality necklace than the original, and one that now also had a personal touch.

It's a lovely atore with lots of unique shapes and colors of beads in stone, plastic and glass. It wasn't exactly what I was looong for, but I still managed to spend money on some lava beads, spacers and some hanging pieces.

I had a necklace custom made for my daughter who lives in Michigan. I also bought an amber river seed necklace and angelite bracelet. Becky made the gorgeous bone bead necklace and my daughter says "I love the amber river beads and the angelite bracelet too. Just beautiful! Bone necklace is even more beautiful than i imagined. thank you"! Becky is a very talented bead artist. The necklace truly is one of a kind, love it!

Went in with a friend, Friday May 18th about 230 -3 ish and we've never done any bead shopping before, so asked for guidance about how to shop the store.. what tools should we get etc... ready to buy-staff person was extremely rude, one word answer, didn't ask questions at all about what we might be interested in. She could have had a big sale, but we were so turned off by her apathetic attitude, we left. Someone else will get our business. Don't waste your time or money here.

I really enjoy shopping for jewelry making goodies at Beadhive. It's a delightful treasure of a bead store in the heart of Minneapolis. I like that the shop isn't too large inside and the bead variety is pretty diverse. You can find lots of gorgeous beads from Africa and other parts of the globe that will add a nice unique quality to your creations. Beadhive carries many different gemstone strands, Czech glass strands, metal and wood beads, and a great selection of chains. It's easy to get inspired while shopping here, too, with finished pieces on display to ogle. The owner, Becky, is so wonderful and helpful if you have any questions or would like to visit. The employees are all very attentive and helpful, too. Beadhive offers classes in a range of skillsets and they're very reasonably priced. The only downside to visiting here is that it's located off an extremely traffic heavy road and parking can be difficult. It's still worth checking out and staying awhile, though. 💜

I love this shop! I wish I'd known about it earlier in my small business career. You can get a lot of the stuff online shops have but you get to take it home that day to make stuff instead of waiting for your supply order to arrive in the mail. Everyone I've interacted with has been very friendly and the shop is clean and well organized. My only wish is that they would extend their Small Business Saturday sales to last a few days longer so those of us who have retail or regular day jobs to support our small business can also benefit and shop the sale on our times off from our jobs. The one day Saturday sale was missed this year because I work :( Just a small thing. I would still recommend this place to everyone and will still shop here myself!

Many different styles and colors of beads. They also have on hand jewelry making supplies. Like: tools, wire, bead (fishing type) line, leather cording and other styles. They also have sterling silver beads and sleeves. Their prices are quite reasonable and you do not need to buy by the bag.

Easy to find; cute space. The selection wasn't as large as I was hoping it would be the prices and quality made up for that.
