I
was
excited
to
find
a
place
that
provided
good
facials
and,
above
all,
was
black-owned.
I
was
so
excited
by
my
first
experience
that
I
booked
my
second
appointment
before
I
left.
However,
on
the
day
of
my
second
appointment,
I
was
tied
up
with
some
work-related
meetings
and
could
not,
for
the
life
of
me,
make
it
to
my
appointment
on
time
when
one
of
the
employees
reached
out
to
me
about
seven
minutes
after
the
appointment
was
to
start
and
asked
if
I
was
still
coming.
I
told
the
employee
that
I
apologized
for
the
oversight
but
did
not
think
I
would
make
it
on
time
and
asked
if
I
could
reschedule.
I
was
told
that
I
could
do
that
but
that
I
would
be
charged
half
of
the
service
fee
per
their
policy.
Confused
by
the
message
I
asked
employee
to
provide
some
more
clarity.
When
I
spoke
to
an
employee,
they
mentioned
that
they
had
policies
posted
for
late
arrivals
or
same
day
rescheduling
on
their
website
and
Instagram
page.
However,
when
you’re
booking
your
appointment,
they
do
not
share
this
information
with
you
at
any
point
in
time.
I
have
NEVER
been
charged
$102
for
a
service
that
I
did
not
receive
until
now,
and
I
am
really
sad
and
disappointed
that
I
will
not
be
returning
for
services
in
the
future.
Contrary
to
the
response
from
the
owner,
their
policy
around
late
arrivals
or
same
day
rescheduling
was
never
mentioned
to
me.
I
mean
if
you’re
charging
someone
50%
of
their
total
service
cost,
you
lose
nothing
by
asking
the
customer
if
they
are
aware
of
the
policy.
If
you
plan
to
use
their
services,
DO
YOUR
HOMEWORK
so
that
you’re
not
blindsided
like
I
was.
