It was really wet in the water.

The beach isn't corrupted by business trying to sell you something. People having a good time talking and enjoying a beautiful lake. EZ access with smaller boats. Love this place. A gem in Minneapolis.

This beach has a friendly, chill vibe. Not crowded. Almost like a private beach.

South beach is the best beach on cedar. Me and my girlfriend spend lots of evenings here. There is a cleanish bathroom and drinking fountains with a foot washing station. No sand in your toes.

beautiful beach! sand is slanted upward which was nice to lay on my stomach to read. nice bathroom and water fountain. so nice to hear the waves crashing and the water was pretty clear.

Minneapolis' South Beach ⛱️

We like this beach a lot. Lots of families and chill people hanging out. Shady spots and an easy canoe/kayak launch.

A beautiful place to walk , bike , jog , take the pets, or skate around the lake. You can rent the bikes over here. You can also rent paddle boats ,kayaks here. There are different lakes attached to this lake There is a restaurant over where you can grab some food and sit facing the lake. You need to find parking on the street. There are plenty of restaurants around here and close to uptown Minneapolis. Safe to take the kids and pets here. But you need to monitor the kids. There is a small swimming area around here. You also get beer on the tap here and ice cream here at the restaurant. Great place to go for work outs or to hang around to get fresh air.there is also play area for kids.

Love this beach every time I have gone it’s always nice very friendly people and law enforcement is out there to be sure nobody gets out of control. It’s very low key laid back.

Other than all the weird white people that look at me like I'm an idiot for longboarding instead of biking and the group that stopped to stare at me doing photography it was pretty good
